That end clip of you guys reading/knitting and just being content with the ending music in the background was so cathartic - just like the epilogue. What a rollarcoaster it's been, thank you both so much - and thank you also to everyone involved in this beautiful game! ❤
Charlotte's voice acting in this game was God Tier if they ever make a Live Action series of this game they should just give the cast of the game the roles
I hope Charlotte also reads this comment when I have to say: I cannot thank you guys enough for being part of this masterpiece, especially you Charlie. Your performance as Amicia De Rune had me by the heart. This is my game of the year of 2022 which I really didn't expect. It reminded me of the days when I was in love with video games telling great stories back in the day. The thing that makes A Plague Tale soo special for me is the sibling chemistry between Amicia and Hugo, coming from someone who has four old sisters. As far as I am aware, I can't think of any games that delivered this type of chemistry. It makes me wish I had a little brother and I wish I could give Amicia a huge hug because she didn't deserve to lose her whole family like that. Again, thank you Charlie for your amazing performance and thank you Anna for being part of the game and assembling the entire community with this playthrough. I will already miss the collab between you two.
this. literally. this. my neighbour right?, shes like.. Shes like feeling it when she plays. Its pure, innocent almost childlike joy right. and i was like wondering.. when was the last time i felt that pure joy and love for a game. and the last time i was really in and just had that pure childlike joy, was halo 3. and last year plague tale requiem. so great.
i was saving watching this vid untill i completed the game, and having just completed it the do kinda leave it on a cliff hanger by showing a babys are with the macula veins. sounds like theres some sort of breathing machine sound in the background so possible set in more modern day??
25:52 The excitement in Hugo’s voice when he tells Amicia he knows how to get out of here is just so heartbreaking. All he wants is to set her free of this burden. 32:58 Obviously there’s a part of Hugo hanging on to make this as “easy” as possible as we see the rats get cleared away, but during my second playthrough of this game I spent a ton of time in photo mode and I was shocked to discover that in this scene Hugo is no longer recognized as “Hugo,” he’s taken away with “other characters and animals,” and I can’t decide if that is less or more upsetting…
It speaks to the power of the writing if someone who worked on it extensively, knows where it is going, has recorded those very lines, and still breaks into tears over it. It was quite the journey. Thank you guys for taking us along.
Twice I replayed it, twice I couldn't help but cry. And seeing the ending again made me cry 😭😭😭😭😭😭 Masterpiece, and Charlotte's performance for the ages!
A tragic, but deep story, which teaches us appreciate life and embrace it at all. I think this ending makes the game unforgettable. Thank you Anna and Charlotte for great acting and great gaming!
@@moonmoon2479 Amicia killed hundreds of people, I understand. It creats ludonarrative dissonance, but it's a issue of personal perception. I decided personally to separate it from the moral of the story.
@@Smuggler42 while that’s also true, I am referring to the cities destroyed despite you being told from the beginning what needed to be done. What was inevitable. But you didn’t listen because you “didn’t like what he said” or “how he said it.” Cities are destroyed, hundreds of thousands are dead, and it will take decades, if not centuries to undo the damage done if that’s even possible. My comment was saying that someone telling you to “appreciate life” from that position is incredibly hypocritical since it comes off as you would only appreciate life if it directly applied to you. If it’s some other random life, that’s not worth as much. In my opinion, such a “message” is hypocritical at best and patronizing at worst. Some stories use that to achieve an effect not possible otherwise. (see Joel from TLOU) I go back and forth on if APT was trying to do that or not. Either way, my point was is that what you said this game tries to “teach you” is inappropriate given the position it is said from, so I’m not sure what you claim makes sense.
@@annardemetriou I am not sure what you are trying to say with this comment. I am calm, and text is a very poor communicator of tone. So I’m unsure if you misunderstood, if I worded it in a way that it would be received as such, or if it was something else. Either way, there is no need to calm down. I am already calm.
I swear it took me a solid two days to recover from that ending. I was just exhausted physically, mentally and emotionally after finishing this game. What a triumphant adventure and story.
@@petitflocon647 i finished it 2 weeks ago n i feel ill js thinking of this game i am not okay. this game has mentally worn me out. i can do anything without breaking down into tears wi the slightest thought of them. what a beautiful fantastic game. i was so angry that it didnt win goty
17:00 I will never get over the fact how alive Amicia's eyes are. Olivier Ponsonnet, who designed and created the character model (for both Requiem and Innocence), truly delivered a masterpiece with her. It must have been thrilling for him to see his model come alive when it was projecting Robyn Wolf's motion capture performance.
'the one I tried to protect my whole life, met the end with my own sling' nothing's more heartbreaking than that 😔 What an incredible Journey this has been! Sureee gonna miss the McPlaythrough :(
Thank you. Thank you for letting us go on this journey with you. This playthrough has brought many much needed laughs. It was my escape from the real world, and I'm thankful for every minute of it. I was so invested that I watched one of the twitch streams at work 😂. Love you both and can't wait to see what the future holds for the both of you!
This ending broke me when I first saw it, I cried for hours after I finished it. I cried again watching it on stream, I’m crying again watching it now! 😭😭😭 Thank You Anna and Charlotte for your incredible performances as Sophia and Amicia in A Plague Tale Requiem, Thank You for bringing these characters to life and Thank You as well for doing this wonderful playthrough! I hope you stream together again someday! 💜🐀
I’ve been playing games a long time and honestly this is a game I’ll never forget. Thank you to everyone who created this masterpiece and especially to Charlotte. A performance that deserves so much praise, thank you!
This episode was sponsored by Ferrero Rocher. 🤣 Thanks to the presence of the two of you on stream, this is probably the most heartbreaking ending for this game recorded by any Twitch player who played this game. 😭 It was a great journey, although a one-time one for me personally, because somehow I can't force myself to go through this game again. 🙁 I wish you both as many interesting roles as possible to play in your further professional careers. 🧡🔥🙏
28:55 "Requiem" is one of the finest examples for the power of allegorical story telling (it is a tale after all) to reflect upon ethical dilemmas (see Grimm's Fairy Tales or Star Trek) and how its metaphors allow a new perspective on them, since they put an ethical question into a new context, disconnected from contemporary associations, and the ones following the story reflect on a theme, a topic through this new, unique lens, maybe making them change their mind on a topic they once thought differently of. "Requiem" is rich with metaphors. Here, when Hugo is asking Amicia to stop him to stop the Macula, we see a metaphor for assisted suicide, and the player is put into the position to make the decision to commit to this request: Hugo asking Amicia as a close relative to kill him, since he wants to be dead, but he cannot commit suicide himself anymore.
I'm so incredibly grateful that you put this together, Anna! ❤️❤️❤️ It was a joy to be a part of most of the streams live and catching up here as well. You were such a gracious host and I loved seeing how supportive and patient you were with Charlie throughout. It was fun even seeing your genuine friendship grow live! And of course, thank Charlie for us for being such a sweetheart and spending the time with us fans! I never would have imagined hanging out live with the lead VA (plus a companion VA!) of one of my favorite games while she plays through said game! Who else can say they've done that? And now I have a Twitch account and follow Anna because you are just a delightful person and your voice is soothing in the morning. ☺️ The game is a masterpiece created by so many talented people. No matter how many times I watch the ending, I always cry because it is just so powerful. Love to you both! I truly hope to hear both of your voices in the Plague Tale world again someday!
@@annardemetriou I'm so glad! bless you for reading and responding to my comment! ❤️ I was in the stream recently when you said that YT comments are terrifying 😅
I recently did a second playthrough (Innocence + Requiem) with my Mother while she simply watched like a movie as she has never played a game, because I told her how touching the story is without spoiling the end. By the black screen she was bawling her eyes out and asked me why would I show her something so dark heh, but she loved the story so much anyway! She kept thinking of it for days on end, even asked if there will be a sequel. I'm 29, No game has affected me this way in my 22 years of gaming - not a single one, and I've played several dozens since then. I want to thank Charlotte and Logan for this incredible sibling Journey that touched me so deep emotionally, and all of the supporting cast especially Anna. Your performances made the story have impact - I don't think anyone else could have done as good of a job as all of you did (I can't leave out Pierre Deriviere for his amazing compositions which made all these last scenes soar even higher). Thank you for this playthrough, it was an incredible journey.
2:30 What I love about this scene is, that Amicia despite her desperate situation, tries to open up and share her feelings she has for her companions, and how clumsy she is while doing so, trying to find the right words. I see this as a part of her struggle to stay human, and through her journey she keeps herself grounded through the relationships she has with others. Which is also the reason why Amicia and Hugo have a different path, and one fails to stay human while the other one succeeds: Amicia is more mature, and thus she has better control over herself and can counter negative impulses by pushing back, like showing her companions that she needs them, or only lashing out against others who are a direct threat to her and not others (unlike Hugo, who directs his hate against anyone in general strokes).
Such and amazing masterpiece. Its been almost a week and I can not get over this ending. I was very connected with the characters because my brother also has a permanent allergic food disease since the birth and struggle a lot since then. The journey of Amicia and Hugo reminded me our desperate search for a treatment for years as a family. Especially mom have tried so many ways that I can’t even count. She was the protector (Actually she hit her head today. We bandaged it and she is a complete Amicia now :D). Desperation can tear down one's heart and it did for Amicia and for us. Many thanks to the brilliant team behind this game and to you guys for bringing these characters into life for real. On the other side, struggle can make someone substantially progress in terms of character and maturity. This is the case for my brother. He has a very strong and lovely character right now. Hugo struggled a LOT. We know that already. But we also know that if there is anything that Hugo learned from Amicia is that “We never back down. We held.” Towards the end, we also saw that Hugo overpower Macula to clear the path from rats. So, I would have wanted to see Hugo somehow fighting with the Macula even though he thinks Amicia is dead. Then, Amicia comes and saves him. But that’s sounds too optimistic. I don’t know. Maybe this is the price. History is full of defeats. Maybe Amicia dedicate rest of her life to find a cure for this illness and the next carrier would follow her steps and find an actual solution with the help of modern technology. I don't know. I am just sad. I can't stop thinking. Don’t mind me :D
A year late to discover this masterpiece, I bought both games a while ago but couldn't find the time to play them properly...when I finally could I wish I had played them sooner.... I lost someone important during the pandemic...and somehow someway this game with its hauntingly deep meaning helped me to finally "accept" my grief and keep living with my wound! These games, especially requiem, are criminally underrated... they're not for the feint of heart, but they should be known by more people ! They're in a genre of their own : If Dark souls (excellent games, FromSoft are the best studio currently imo) defined a whole genre of video games, I believe Plague should aswell ! And yes The Last Of Us, gets more attention , for rightfully having more enjoyable mechanics overall, but the story of Plague tale is deeper, painfully sad, but poetic and so true (despite the mystic aspec of controlling and summoning rats ofc ;D) !
I can't believe that this is the end...I loved this series so much. I'm glad Sophia was my favorite character, if it wasn't for her, I never would have found this channel. This was my favorite game of 2022 and it was such a treat seeing the actresses that played my favorite characters play the game together. Thank you Anna and Charlie for this amazing series. I hope you two find more VO jobs in the gaming industry
3:20 Amicia's embrace of Sophia and Sophia's gentle gesture by stroking her face to me was Amicia showing her she needs Sophia as a maternal influence and Sophia responded positively with a gesture that was of a mother comforting her child. With that Sophia mirrored Beatrice's stroking of Amicia's face when they met at the Count's mansion again. Which is maybe also the result of the actress doing this on purpose (or subconsciously), since both characters are played by Giorgia Sinicorni.
What a great journey! Hope we'll see Charlotte pop up on future streams too. No one should feel bad for crying here, thats the intended reaction and precisely why it was nominated for awards.
Thank you so much, Anna, for posting! Thank you also so much, Charlotte, for playing and completing this game! I've been a big fan of A Plague Tale since Innocence.
i finished this game a couple days ago and whoa that ending made me cry. What a good game also if there was no God Of War Ragnarök Charlotte would have gotten the voice actor award 100% the timing was just bad, she did such a good job. i hope we might see an older Amicia at the next game seems like it's going to be a more of a future timeline. it was fun watching both of you go trought this game you both did such a good job.
The ambience is soo eerie when she first enters the nightmare and then that music comes on when "Hugo" starts to speak. And now come the water works...
OMG I just realised that I actually finished the game on Charlotte's birthday last week! Been watching her playthrough ever since and when she said her birthday I couldn't believe it. How cool is that? Really hope the next game features Amicia, even if it's just flashbacks showing how she set puzzles for future generations, and how she may have looked for a cure the same way she followed Alia and Basilius. At least the new game will need to give us hope.
Anna, I already thanked you on instagram, but I still have to write on youtube. Thank you. Honestly, I can't thank you in words for what you've done with Charlotte, because it just isn't enough. I will definitely come back to your game more than once and experience this adventure with you. Thank you both very much again.❤❤❤
This was the most emotional moment of my player's life. Thank you for having shared this with us. I'm looking forward to future collaborations between you two
i love the little detail at 18:54 of there being almost no sunlight, then as soon as amecia shouted for hugo the 'clouds' started to break, letting in some sunlight
I really enjoyed this game again, especially with you both. Plague Tale Requiem is GOTY 2022 for me.👌 These almost 2 months have been great with this series. I will really miss this, but thank you very much for it.🥹 From her first playthrough of Requiem to here, Charlie has made progress as far as gameplay is concerned. ❤️ you ladies.
Stellar work Asobo. Having a game connect so much to players emotionally. Charlotte you truly are a gamer now and hopefully there are other game playthroughts. Assassins Creed comes to mind as other great games. was brilliant you could experience a game that you put so much work into. Stellar soundtrack by Olivier Deriviere which definitely added to the feelings felt throughout
52:30 ... I just thought: Maybe "Stray" is in the same universe as "A Plague Tale", since the plague comes back every 700 years or so, as the post credits scene places the next occurance in our times. "Stray" is several centuries in our future, and its underground city was build to escape a global plague. So maybe "Stray" is placed in a future after the plague in our times in the "Plage Tale" universe. :) The connection is even that both games were done by French studios (and it came out after "Innocence").
Thanks to both of you for your excellent work on this project and for sharing this funny as hell playthrough with us! I hope this incredible duo can come together again sometime in either more projects or streams 😆. Love you both, Anna and Charlie. Cheers!! 😘
Amicia was everything in these games. I have beaten both games multiple times. I keep coming back to them for such a fantastic storytelling, and a gameplay experience quite unique. Thank you for this video! I am hopeful for a third one!!!
I just finished this game a few hours ago and it made me think about life. Life is so precious especially the life with your family. The bond of a family can never be broken. Always cherish each other. As I holding on the button flinging the sling. I remembered my father on his death bed. The doctors were still reviving him and one nursed asked me if they will keep trying but it was the last few tries. I couldn’t make a decision at first but deep inside I knew my father was ready and saying goodbye even though he couldn’t say anything to us. When I let go of the button to end Hugos suffering, I remembered telling the nurse that they can stop reviving my father. Hugo was and is my hero, just like my father. And letting him go is a knife pierced through my heart.
I was in some streams and I watched all the videos I was thinking about is love Plague Tale even more because I could meet adorable human beings Anna, Charlie thank you,I hope see you together on another journey soon 🙂
Thank you both so much for sharing this playthrough with us!! For me it checked all the boxes of what a great playthrough should have: Funny (Chapter 7 had me in tears for example, with the Piggyback Intro and of course the legendary RazzMatazz convo 😂), Insightful (all the anecdotes you both had to share about the process of creating these characters) and Emotional…the ending of this game is so utterly harrowing and brutal in that regard, and I found myself tearing up the most at the exact same moments Charlie did😪(that HUG, their last walk together and their final conversation, before she has to put him out of his pain)…I don’t think I myself would have had the courage to let my guard down and go through these emotions again (on a stream!), like Charlie did, so a HUGE thank you for doing that😃…it is in the best sense of the word unforgettable and a lot of that has to do with the performance of the Actors behind the mics, so kudos to all of them! And the writers as well and the entire team for making this true gem of a game possible. I think the DeRune Story is tied up really well and there shouldn’t be a third part (Sophia + Lucas DLC naturally 😉). I would love seeing the two of you teaming up again for another playthrough…and with the natural order of the “domestic animal kingdom” in mind (Mouse/Rat < Cat < Dog) - Stray Playthrough when?😋😁
Thank you both for this playthrough and your performances in this game. Requiem became instantly one of my favorite games of all time, especially due to the amazing writing and voice acting. Charlotte's performance was just on an other level. I'm also glad I found this highly professional youtube channel.
Thank you so much for this awesome series! I had the pleasure to see a few episodes live and it was a blast. Also, the intros that came from this series are legendary ^^
Wow what an emotional rolercoaster this game was...😭 Just finished it a few hours ago (Lucas ending). ❤Anna ❤Charlotte.. The little stool and the memorial at the end really broke me....
While I may have a lot of issues with the writing of this game, I do want to say your performances (charlotte, anna, logan, and the others) and the music truly made this game. To hear your experience from a drama director is disheartening as you're a fantastic VO/Actresses, and I'm glad talking with Charlotte helped you get past your fear of losing your voice. I found you via Charlotte's twitter and I'm glad that I did. You are an incredibly sweet and genuine person, and I wish you nothing but success on future projects. I love having you videos running while I draw so I'll be sticking around. Much luv fam.
5:50 My association was immediately: Ground zero of an atomic bomb explosion, with a frozen cloud. And the rats eradiating from its center like nuclear radiation, erasing everything in its path, the raining ash onto the city the fallout, the hidden sun the nuclear winter. The metaphor with Hugo going off like a nuclear bomb is also fitting, as the detonation of a nuclear bomb in a city is the ultimate expression of unrefined hate. The depiction at 27:00 with the people dying by turning into black ash could be also hinting to death by its heat and radiation.
I have been living in A Plague Tale for the past week - played through with Keyboard + Mouse in English (big love to Charlotte & Anna! ❤🔥❤🔥) - then another playthrough with Controller in Chinese dub. Oh and I went back to collect all souvenirs & herbarium. Then I binged all Charlotte's playthrough on Anna's channel and ended up here. I don't watch twitch streams & playthroughs at all, but something about this game - the heart poured into the story, the visuals, the voices & music, the people behind it, compelled me to slow down my busy city life just to watch it all and be immersed in the moments. It isn't easy to find a job that you can fully pour your heart into every day, and I'm really glad to see Charlotte being able to have the privilege - on a first job some more! 51:32 thought I'd share my experience in Chinese VA since y'all mentioned hearing the French version. "Amicia is such a collaborative effort between Robyn and all the different people with their voices..." Having done a playthrough in Chinese, I appreciate Charlotte acknowledging every other language's localization & VA at the end. Narrative-heavy games like these are NOT trivial to translate & voice-act effectively. I took a bit to get used to hearing modern Chinese in medieval Europe setting, a fun cultural mix I don't get to experience often (I'd be 🤣 if they used medieval Chinese instead). I'd say the Chinese Amicia VA was okay - nailed a lot of sad parts, but sounds more delicate which doesn't suit Amicia's inner warrior, and sounded a bit over-the-top-action-movie-like in emotionally charged scenes (like the barn) that made Amicia's inner turmoil less relatable, for me at least. Sophia's Chinese VA fits surprisingly well under the sassy know-it-all vibe. Hugo sounded cute and playful, and the distressed parts are also beautifully acted. I rewatched the chinese dub scene in 25:33 and decided I really liked Hugo's chinese VA. My fav chinese VA is Count Victor, he gave the powerful medieval Chinese commander / general vibe that is really on par with the english VA. Arnold sounds pretty meh 🫤 Some interesting comparisons across EN -> CN: Tied EN: "May this earth remember how much you loved it, may it remember all you gave to protect it" CN: "May this earth remember your "deep feelings" (深情), may this world remember your contributions and sacrifices (奉献与牺牲) English wins "I kneel to no one!" -> "I'm not afraid of anyone! (我谁都不怕)" this is tough line to translate as 跪 (kneel) in chinese sounds really weird with "to no one", as culturally, your are always meant to "kneel" to authority, usually the emperor "Please stop, from a mother to another!" -> "Stop it, we are both mothers (我们都是母亲)" I love how empathetically appealing that line is in english, but it's a grammar nightmare in chinese :'( "Love can kill, Emilie... (Emilie) for now, it will be quick" -> "Love leads to hatred, Emilie (爱能生恨)... (Emilie) it will be quick (很快,马上就好)" I don't like this take in chinese, it butchers emilie's twisted continuation of beatrice's last few words Small wins for Chinese "Its your turn Emilie, we'll spill your blood now!" -> "Its your turn Emilie, pay blood with blood! (血债血偿)" A perfect chinese proverb for murder revenge, as emilie just killed beatrice (I'm sure there are some more chinese proverbs that expressed the situation well with a different culturally appropriate anecdote. Too much effort to recall & dig out unfortunately 😶) =================== In case anyone's wondering, Chinese is my first language and I live in Singapore, while the VA is meant for mainland China audiences, hence accent expectations & interpretations may slightly differ. Hope you find it interesting :)
Good day or good evening, whenever you are reading this.I just wanted to say thank you for a great experience in A plague tale series.Your voice acting is amazing and i hope i will hear everyone from this cast in many more games,movies,series,etc... Keep up the good work😁
Played both the games back to back spent 60 hours total and I’m amazed what an experience. That second game killed me at the end everyone involved in the games did a great job the music is fantastic the acting is fantastic the story is fantastic. Thank you to everyone involved I really enjoyed my time with these games.
I had almost 2 days that I can t sleep.. always thinking about hugo and this end touched me on every ways. I allost regretted it can exist. I couldn t sleep.. I was mentaly ans physicaly broke. This was too much powerful for me. This game can break the heart and the mind.... this touche the deepest part of everything... I can't find the words.... They ised all the codes of true love and greatest sacrifice.
Just finished this a few days ago, and damn the ending hit hard😢 but that's what makes a great experience, where you are so invested in the story that it touches your true emotions.❤
It is almost two months after I finished this game, but I still get emotional when I think about Amicia and her story. After some reflection I believe my mind simply mourns for her like she was a real person I knew. It just shows how powerful an interactive medium like a game for story telling, providing an immersive environment with realistic characters, can be - it has the potential to surpass movies, TV series or books, creating fictional characters that someone reacts to like they were real. The closest real connection to Amicia are the artists that brought her to life; they are like the close relatives, that are left in our world: Amicia's fathers would be Sebastien Renard as her writer and Olivier Ponsonnet as her model designer and creator, and her mothers would be Robyn Wolf as her body actor and Charlotte McBurney as her voice actor. All four artists came together and created something very beautiful. I really would be interested in a round table discussion, in which they talk about the character and how they approached bringing Amicia to life, on their own but also being inspired by the work of the others.
Video games were the reason why I learned a foreign language in my youth. It is a great fortune and privilege to listen to the voices of leading actors. You girls and the whole team have done a great job. I wish you good luck and big projects in the future.
The fading of your voice actually was an essential element in portraying that state in which Amicia was.. you could feel her exhaustion and desperation and then lastly, her surrender, accepting what had to be done. Actually I thought that it was intentional but man, it fitted so well... Also, Hugo' s voice actor was amazing... The way he said "save everything" at 29:47 and "if I kill all I love" at 29:08 .. No wonder people get so attached to this game.. 😁
Just finished the game and this is the first vid I came across. I recognized your voices and put them to the characters instantly not knowing who you 2 are. OUTSTANDING job! Thanks for the love and hard work you put in the game. It will stay with me forever.
Just finished watching this playthrough with you two again. Seriously you two have the best acting ever in this game. Game feels so real with it. This game will forever be masterpiece without a doubt 🥰🙏
Thank you both for the awesome playthrough and for giving the characters your voices. The ending of the game really broke me after all the awesome memories you made along the journey, until the last second I hoped that it wasn´t real. Shortly after my own playthrough I found this one and with your commentary it made the game even better, but also the ending even sadder. Thanks so much
The joy of coming back to this game after a few months and looking for fresh play throughs only to find this! You two are an absolute dream team and had me laughing and crying along with you. The Plague Tale games are so painfully under appreciated when the music, voice acting, scenery, and storylines are easily on a level with, if not better than games like TLOU. Amicia is an absolute powerhouse of a protagonist, and Charlotte’s performance had me in absolute bits by the end. Bring her back on to play the first game! Need more of you two, and that game has a somewhat happy ending!

I cannot thank you guys enough for being part of this masterpiece, especially you Charlie.

It has indeed been; a McJourney 🐀
My GOTY 2022 for sure. I still can't get over that story.
same. freaking awesome sequel.
Twice I replayed it, twice I couldn't help but cry.

A tragic, but deep story, which teaches us appreciate life and embrace it at all. I think this ending makes the game unforgettable. Thank you Anna and Charlotte for great acting and great gaming!
Oh really? Appreciate life? When you are responsible for taking it away from so many innocent people? Yeah no.
@@moonmoon2479 Amicia killed hundreds of people, I understand. It creats ludonarrative dissonance, but it's a issue of personal perception. I decided personally to separate it from the moral of the story.
@@moonmoon2479 calm down
@@Smuggler42 while that’s also true, I am referring to the cities destroyed despite you being told from the beginning what needed to be done.
37:14 Amicia’s still wearing that elbow guard a year later. Let it rest 😩
I swear it took me a solid two days to recover from that ending. I was just exhausted physically, mentally and emotionally after finishing this game. What a triumphant adventure and story.
I amost haven t slept for 2 days because of my heartbroken.

I sure hope the Plague Tale tv show gets an English dub where Charlie and Anna reprise their roles. That'd be awesome
Interesting because despite the company being in France, the ENGLISH voices were casted first and are the ones the game is based on.
Whos anna in the game?

I hope the industry showers the both of you with work and new projects. So great on this game.
*hugs you*
This ending broke me when I first saw it, I cried for hours after I finished it. 💜🐀
The gratitude in Charlotte's eyes is priceless
Between the music and charlotte’s acting it completely broke me when Hugo told amicia I love you,I’ve been happy with you.
I’ve been playing games a long time and honestly this is a game I’ll never forget. Thank you to everyone who created this masterpiece and especially to Charlotte. A performance that deserves so much praise, thank you!
I've seen the last sequences so many times, I know every second by heart and yet it gets me every single time.
No, thank you for the great series and thank you Charlotte for joining Anna on this series. I really wish the best for you, Anna. 0:34
I'm so incredibly grateful that you put this together, Anna! ❤️❤️❤️
It was a joy to be a part of most of the streams live and catching up here as well.
The game is a masterpiece created by so many talented people. No matter how many times I watch the ending, I always cry because it is just so powerful. Love to you both! I truly hope to hear both of your voices in the Plague Tale world again someday!
Means so much to me this message ❤
@@annardemetriou I'm so glad! bless you for reading and responding to my comment! ❤️ I was in the stream recently when you said that YT comments are terrifying 😅
Damn... it's already end... I'll miss BOTH of you guys... these was such a AMAZING Adventure With Charlotte ♥️♥️
I suspected that this game is gonna bring Charlotte to tears. No wonder why the ending is so emotional
God this is so heart wrenching, amazing journey, truly thankful for this playthrough.
Much appreciate you guys coming together and giving ur opinions on the game
34:04 I love that someone on chat who's nick name is "hugo_de_rune" wrote "Thank You" at the end there 🤧
3:20 Amicia's embrace of Sophia and Sophia's gentle gesture by stroking her face to me was Amicia showing her she needs Sophia as a maternal influence and Sophia responded positively with a gesture that was of a mother comforting her child.
After finishing this emotional rollercoaster of a game, your streams have been so cathartic and enjoyable. Thank you both for this gift. ❤
i finished this game a couple days ago and whoa that ending made me cry.
Plague Tale Requiem is GOTY 2022 for me.👌
These almost 2 months have been great with this series. I will really miss this, but thank you very much for it.🥹
From her first playthrough of Requiem to here, Charlie has made progress as far as gameplay is concerned. ❤️ you ladies.
Thank you Anna and Charlotte. You two are a joy to watch together
The perfect outro.
I’m sure that everyone was in tears along with the 2 of you, charlottes acting was absolutely unbelievable.
Thanks to both of you for your excellent work on this project and for sharing this funny as hell playthrough with us! I hope this incredible duo can come together again sometime in either more projects or streams 😆.
Love you both, Anna and Charlie. Cheers!! 😘
I enjoyed this playthrough so much, the laughs, the tears, the banter... I look forward to both of your future endeavors ❤️
Wow what a McJourney it was! Enjoyed every second of it. Thank you both!
I platinumed Requiem on ps5 yesterday, that also was a McJourney
That’s my next step! Starting that soon too!
@@annardemetriou good luck on that! I almost rage quit a few times🙊
Such a great idea, Anna. This turned out awesome!
Charlotte absolutely killed it as Amicia 🤩
AWHHH triple! Thank you for watching!!
seriously, the acting (voice) was so amazing and definitely made it genuine. cmon charlotte...you made a grown man cry
I was in some streams and I watched all the videos I was thinking about is love Plague Tale even more because I could meet adorable human beings Anna, Charlie thank you,I hope see you together on another journey soon 🙂
Late to this amazing series and amazing game wow what a journey
Thank you both so much for sharing this playthrough with us!! For me it checked all the boxes of what a great playthrough should have:
Funny (Chapter 7 had me in tears for example, with the Piggyback Intro and of course the legendary RazzMatazz convo 😂), Insightful (all the anecdotes you both had to share about the process of creating these characters) and Emotional…the ending of this game is so utterly harrowing and brutal in that regard, and I found myself tearing up the most at the exact same moments Charlie did😪(that HUG, their last walk together and their final conversation, before she has to put him out of his pain)…I don’t think I myself would have had the courage to let my guard down and go through these emotions again (on a stream!), like Charlie did, so a HUGE thank you for doing that😃…it is in the best sense of the word unforgettable and a lot of that has to do with the performance of the Actors behind the mics, so kudos to all of them!
My heart can never recover from playing this game. Watching this now after my second playthrough im still crying like a baby😭
Logical next step now would be APT Innocence playthrough with Charlotte 🙂
Been a Journey. Crossing fingers for more collaboration between AnnA and Charlie in the future, you guys are just perfect together
I was already a fan of Amicia, now I'm also a fan our dear Charlotte ❤
🥹🥹 damn, thank you so much
5:50 My association was immediately: Ground zero of an atomic bomb explosion, with a frozen cloud.
Thank you charlotte and Anna for a awsome play through, charlotte you did great.
Reliving the sad ending of the game with you two has been wonderful.
Thank you for the unforgettable experience and for that incredible performance 💔❤
Arnold sounds pretty meh 🫤
Some interesting comparisons across EN -> CN:
Tied
EN: "May this earth remember how much you loved it, may it remember all you gave to protect it"
CN: "May this earth remember your "deep feelings" (深情), may this world remember your contributions and sacrifices (奉献与牺牲)
English wins
"I kneel to no one!" -> "I'm not afraid of anyone! (我谁都不怕)"
this is tough line to translate as 跪 (kneel) in chinese sounds really weird with "to no one", as culturally, your are always meant to "kneel" to authority, usually the emperor
"Please stop, from a mother to another!" -> "Stop it, we are both mothers (我们都是母亲)"
I love how empathetically appealing that line is in english, but it's a grammar nightmare in chinese :'(
"Love can kill, Emilie... (Emilie) for now, it will be quick" -> "Love leads to hatred, Emilie (爱能生恨)... (Emilie) it will be quick (很快,马上就好)"
I don't like this take in chinese, it butchers emilie's twisted continuation of beatrice's last few words
Small wins for Chinese
"Its your turn Emilie, we'll spill your blood now!" -> "Its your turn Emilie, pay blood with blood! (血债血偿)"
A perfect chinese proverb for murder revenge, as emilie just killed beatrice
(I'm sure there are some more chinese proverbs that expressed the situation well with a different culturally appropriate anecdote. Too much effort to recall & dig out unfortunately 😶)
===================
In case anyone's wondering, Chinese is my first language and I live in Singapore, while the VA is meant for mainland China audiences, hence accent expectations & interpretations may slightly differ. Hope you find it interesting :)
This game and Charlie playthrough was so good! I Hope there are plans about making more streams with her, maybe Innocence playthrough?
Polska góra for Charlotte racja
Good day or good evening, whenever you are reading this.I just wanted to say thank you for a great experience in A plague tale series.Your voice acting is amazing and i hope i will hear everyone from this cast in many more games,movies,series,etc... Keep up the good work😁
Thank you so much!!!
Played both the games back to back spent 60 hours total and I’m amazed what an experience. That second game killed me at the end everyone involved in the games did a great job the music is fantastic the acting is fantastic the story is fantastic. Thank you to everyone involved I really enjoyed my time with these games.
I just finished this game a few days ago and I can't stop thinking about it. Thank you both for making me so invested in these characters.
thank you for enjoying the game ❤
I didn’t cry at all cuz I know it IS just a game and everything is fiction!!!
Gonna miss you Charlotte. Amicia is one of the best characters I ever played in a game. Hoping for another game in the future
Just finished this a few days ago, and damn the ending hit hard😢 but that's what makes a great experience, where you are so invested in the story that it touches your true emotions.❤
3:38 Look at the tear drop in Amicia's eyes the detailing is insane.
I held off on this so I could be ready and I wasn't ready still. The music always gets me.
I wish you good luck and big projects in the future.
thank you so much!!
This game deserves a live action movie or series
Just finished the game and this is the first vid I came across. I recognized your voices and put them to the characters instantly not knowing who you 2 are. OUTSTANDING job! Thanks for the love and hard work you put in the game. It will stay with me forever.
I love these two games thank you both for ur work but please we need a third
god bless this young woman I truly wish her continued success, i loved the game and its because of her voice acting.
I liked her voice more in the first game she kinda dialled it back a bit in the second game but that’s just me not picking
Just finished watching this playthrough with you two again.
Seriously you two have the best acting ever in this game. Game feels so real with it.
This game will forever be masterpiece without a doubt 🥰🙏
That audition tape is gold
Thank you both for the awesome playthrough and for giving the characters your voices.
The ending of the game really broke me after all the awesome memories you made along the journey, until the last second I hoped that it wasn´t real.
Shortly after my own playthrough I found this one and with your commentary it made the game even better, but also the ending even sadder. Thanks so much
@@BlackReka thank you for watching and enjoying it, means the world ❤️
The joy of coming back to this game after a few months and looking for fresh play throughs only to find this!
One of the best voice acting jobs I’ve ever seen
This game and those streams were the best thing that happened to me in 2022! Thank you guys so much for this wonderful McJourney, i love you 🙏🏼🐀❤❤
I'm in love with Charlotte... She's so cuuuute!!!!!!! Game is the masterpiece!
Esse final me quebrou, sou um grande fã. Charlotte continue com agente em a plague tale
