I'm glad you tried the Whitty mod, it's really the best FNF mod imo, because of the mechanical fixes it has. I remember it is also compatible with other mods, like B-side which makes them a lot more fun. You were not harsh at all in the previous video, I like FNF, but it is kinda jank, not gonna lie. But I think being in development, it has a lot of potential to grow and improve some of its bad aspects.
"Downscroll Pog" is my energy for whenever i play rhythm games now. But all of them did Ballistic on one shot though (not counting tokaku's R key problems), and Ryan had to beat the song 2 times in a row because his screen capture stopped recording.
Dude genuinely want to apologize for those people getting upset with your honest and quite frankly nice critics. You were already being nice to begin with and some people still got upset. To me even though I LOVE the games aweaome art syle and music it confuses me that the genral gameplay being so flawed is not mentioned, a lot of the time it seems passing a song is based on luck, and that is not a minor issue it's a gantic one. To me dispite the game getting so much praise but to me if you need a install mod to make the game fair to the player then the gameplay isn't designed well I'm sorry.
It's funny honestly, the people getting mad are most likely people who don't play rhythm games or games that aren't indie. Fnf is a very charming game but it's still developing and released early, hence why it deserves to be criticised. Having criticism isn't even bad since again, it's still being developed, most games that seem very well-done like Little Nightmares and Omori take years. I think FNF has only been developed for 4-5 months only? So it makes sense that a game this ambitious will cause some bugs.

Average in terms of the overall rhythm game scene. 92% accuracy is not very good at higher skill levels. Keep in mind that for every person struggling to beat dad battle, there's someone tapping 40 keys per second with 99% accuracy. Rhythm games have been around for the better part of... around 2 decades I believe, so the average standards are pretty high compared to the entry level skills.
@@dogntbad Different standards. Most people who have been playing rhythm games for years aim to get 98% or more, with 96% being considered a subpar run, and 94% or lower being, quote on quote, "abyssmal" to many higher tier players. It might just be the specific people I've seen and talked to, but standards are usually much higher the better the players are. Keep in mind, 92% is not just 92% all around. If you have something like a level 20 on ITG, 92% is a lot more impressive than getting 98% on a level 11, so in terms of Ballistic's difficulty, 92% is not really good for most average rhythm game players, because it's a very low-difficulty song compared to most players' routines and abilities. I'd wager it around a 2- or 3-star on Osu (I'm not super familiar with osu's difficulty ratings), maybe a 10-footer on ITG, though it could be a 12-footer if the jacks are kept. I'd say 96% or more would be a decent accuracy score for Ballistic at Tokaku's level, and she's definitely capable of accuracy higher than that if the timing and sync issues are fixed completely, assuming she gives it a couple more tries.
I don't play rythm games but you guys don't underestimate these "actual" rythm gamers with Whitty It's probably easier than a lot of songs they actually play
Some games like osu!(mania)Have multiplayer support too (my experiences are with o!m and quaver, which both have online, I dont know if there are any others)
Now i want someone to make a mod called "Rhythm Classics" in which you play popular songs/famous songs from rhythm games and each week represents a different rhythm game. And maybe the final week would be songs that transcend rhythm games/songs that almost every rhythm game have (like brain power, freedom dive, and that type of stuff)
I literally had this exact shower thought yesterday! Imagine the og rhythm games and modern metas, DDR, Stepmania, ITG, Osu, Clone Hero, Eterna, beatsaber, there's more than enough to get multiple weeks filled, and plenty of iconic songs from the respective games to pick from. I'd 100% be down to support a project like that! Osu already has a mascot character, the others could probably easily have one designed for them, song selection should be pretty eas yas well, so the only thing left would be charting it, which I'm pretty sure some experienced chart makers would be down to collab on.
I think it's cause at higher tiers people are a lot more logical and tend to state things as matter-of-fact or bluntly, whereas casual players think more emotionally and see pointing out something bad as an attempt to demean it or put it down. Like when someone says "This pizza is trash", someone emotional will hear it as "What you like is trash", whereas someone logical will simply hear "this specific pizza is trash" Obviously not the case for everyone, but it's what I've commonly noticed.
For your last random thoughts, I think the reason Miku, Rin, Len, and others Crypton Vocaloid not appear in sdvx because They're licensed by Sega for the game. So Konami is too lazy to get license for the character maybe ? Or Konami and Sega maybe have a deal like "You can keep the song, but you can't take the Character on cover song"
this is what me and my friend theorised. Since konami and sega are competitors in the arcade rhythm game market (sega has project diva arcade cabinets) so... maybe...?
Last time I checked, the newest version of Whitty mod that came out a couple of days ago swapped around a bunch of folders and isnt compatible with b side assets anymore. I don't know if B side updated but as of yet i havent found a way to make them both work
@@ballgo1058 Nope, you gotta rework/rewrite the entire .json to fit with the new files for it to work now. I checked and tried but couldn't get it to work perfectly (missing notes here and there). Now we can only wait for B-Side to update for Week 7 compatibility.
first time i see it and it looks good! to see how much u "improved" just by having a different offset worries me if i played the actual game with the idea of being a rhythm gamer
i flipped my screen and instantly beat all the hard mods i can think of in the game (B-Sides, Whitty, Custom songs) Same with offset, it depends on how comfortable you are with the game and it's inputs. Being able to customize those is the best thing you can ever offer in a rhythm game.
The lore behind whitty was that he was created by a cult and was ordered to kill but didn’t want to, he ran away and went into hiding and didn’t want to be caught. And when Whitty rips that poster it was to show that Whitty hates the father of girlfriend, The father took the soul of Whitty kind of like Senpai. Boyfriend finds Whitty in the alleyway and Whitty asks them to leave, but boyfriend starts the song, the cutscene for Ballistic mode is that Whitty goes completely mental and snaps, and goes crazy.
I think the reason R kills you is if people were going for perfect runs and hit R to reset. It's still a bad idea to have it that close to wasd and dfjk, though.

You were not harsh at all in the previous video, I like FNF, but it is kinda jank, not gonna lie. But I think being in development, it has a lot of potential to grow and improve some of its bad aspects.

In high tier rhythm games, accuracy is like lifeblood. even 94% accuracy is dogshit in these.
90% is very bad in terms of music. although the number is high the errors do have a ton of weight.

Facts Facts, they really need to fix the input lag and syncing
It's funny honestly, the people getting mad are most likely people who don't play rhythm games or games that aren't indie. Fnf is a very charming game but it's still developing and released early, hence why it deserves to be criticised. Having criticism isn't even bad since again, it's still being developed, most games that seem very well-done like Little Nightmares and Omori take years. I think FNF has only been developed for 4-5 months only? So it makes sense that a game this ambitious will cause some bugs.
totaku trying to act playing 4.5 stars as no big deal but she knows these people defending the bugs in the game wouldn't be able to pass lol

"Im an average player"
*proceeds to get 92% accuracy on ballistic*
i mean, it's it's pretty fair
excUUUUUUUUUUSSEEE me, but how is that fair? I died to whitty in 30 seconds
@@joao34386 Daufuq you mean 92 isnt good thats better than what i get on tests.
I'd say 96% or more would be a decent accuracy score for Ballistic at Tokaku's level, and she's definitely capable of accuracy higher than that if the timing and sync issues are fixed completely, assuming she gives it a couple more tries.
her lack of eyebrows on low quality makes her look normal and unnormal at the same time

Bleh
you mean freedom dive is featured
I would chart them all if i had the time, which i don't.
Would honestly redraw all the characters to fit into the theme too.
The R key is just chillin and killin
IDK why people thought you were bullying the game or being mean to the dev, it is just simple criticism that the devs will take note of and fix.
I think it's cause at higher tiers people are a lot more logical and tend to state things as matter-of-fact or bluntly, whereas casual players think more emotionally and see pointing out something bad as an attempt to demean it or put it down. Like when someone says "This pizza is trash", someone emotional will hear it as "What you like is trash", whereas someone logical will simply hear "this specific pizza is trash"
Obviously not the case for everyone, but it's what I've commonly noticed.
I expected a person who's decent at playing rythm games but instead I found a Ryhtm game God
"My finger didn't hit the button!" Yes, you'll come to find that is called "missing."

tokaku: Why is he getting the harder parts
For your last random thoughts, I think the reason Miku, Rin, Len, and others Crypton Vocaloid not appear in sdvx because They're licensed by Sega for the game. So Konami is too lazy to get license for the character maybe ? Or Konami and Sega maybe have a deal like "You can keep the song, but you can't take the Character on cover song"
this is what me and my friend theorised. Since konami and sega are competitors in the arcade rhythm game market (sega has project diva arcade cabinets) so... maybe...?
@@tokaku maybe you right but who knows
Tokaku:"Why are they even bothering this guy?"

Hey tokaku you can try to put the files of the B-side mod in the Whitty mod so you can have new input + b-side + whitty
best experience imo.
Why am I not surprised seeing you here

Same with offset, it depends on how comfortable you are with the game and it's inputs.
