I love watching them play Codenames because its just Ze's rapid descent into madness for over an hour. NASA actually warns against using Amazon for eclipse glasses.
The fact that they acknowledged that Spongebob was yellow, but thought it wouldn't be Yellowstone was insane. In general though, people need to get more used to the meta-gaming with the clue numbers, especially at the end like that.
@@kylerivera3470That's not even a metagame, that's straight up the game itself. The number = How many the clue ties to. If you're given freedom to pursue other clues, you get an infinite or 0.
23:22 Given how much Junk has played with Chilled, I can understand him doing this. 38:33 If this group has not seen Robin Hood:Men in Tights, you need to watch it. It is a hilarious, highly clippable movie.
The clue for "Nottingham" made me IMMEDIATELY think of The Holy Grail by Monty Python, so I was like "Okay, hood because robin hood, witch because of the creepy witch obsessed with the knight, wagon because they I believe rode in one, maybe armor because of the knights" etc. lol I love the movie
SAME! And since it was the Japanese, you could stretch in KPop (I know it's korean but it could work this is Codenames) and even Amoeba maybe, because I think Amoeba is aquatic kinda? So HARBOR 5!
Ze, I know you say you love being spymaster, but I think you should be hooked up to a heart monitor and see what it does to you then see if you still think that.
The fact that the first clue of the game did not make them click the bomb is bonkers to me! Roses are so intermingled with dances. Salsa and Rose is like THE THING always in movies and romantic flicks. Give a rose before a dance. Have a rose in your ear or mouth while dancing. Literally if I was a player Rose would be one of the first things I click on.
for the clue with Head done by sophie i was just yelling at kara like "HEAD COOK! HEAD COOOOK" without even knowing for sure if it was correct. Naturally i was incorrect. but still... it made so much sense
With "Didney Worl" and "Shakespeare", my mind immediately went to a clue I don't think many people would get, 'Gargoyles' for the old 90's cartoon 'Disney's Gargoyles', which featured a lot of Shakespeare stuff like MacBeth.
This game always makes my history/mythology-loving heart break. The War of the Roses? The sheriff of Nottingham from Robin Hood? (Which, yes, is in England...) Cmoooooon. These are super well-known stories/events, just behind King Arthur. 🤦🏼♀️
Random fact from the video: My town had two rain-wrapped tornados two years ago. Luckily no one was killed in my town, god was definitely looking down on us that day. 65 buildings were damaged.
I think in the first game, they were too focused on the idea of 'rose' being one of their words from past clue somehow. So anything would lead to that specific word in their mind. It's unfortunate, because they mostly had that last round in the bag with the spongebob clue xD They had to take more time to think about each word. The fact Ze put the number '4' when there are 4 words left meant that there would be stretches to make, people have to reach more with their guesses.
38:19 I love this group but I feel like there's too many quiet moments in these lobbies tbh (it was like that in Among Us too). I don't expect them to be full chaos or talk non stop, but there are too many long pauses/ moments of complete silence imo.
I dont understand what clue xeen wanted out of the nottingham? He points out SHERIFF of nottingham after the round but like, sheriff wasn't on the board? He didn't misread Second as Sheriff, right?
Sheriff of Nottingham from Robin HOOD, Robin and Marian ran a BAR, the sheriff wore ARMOR, idk what the last one is yet I'm not that far in Maybe wagon? Did Robin Hood hold up some rich guy's wagon?
@@AkyomiEither wagon as you say, I mean, he was a "thief" after all or witch because she was helping the Sheriff of Nottingham in his fight against Robin Hood.

Yellow stone was a STRETCH but they went totally off the rails
Idk why they went rose
That was so weird
1:21:20 "They're not thinking long and hard about this. They need to start thinking in terms of stretches." when the clue is... *that.* Goddammit, Ze.
The fact that noone got Sheriff Nottingham from Robin Hood off the first clue blew my mind.
Not even a Robin Hood: Men in Tights mention
I don’t even know what Nottingham is. For me this would be a terrible clue.

Sheriff OF Nottingham, to be pedantic. One of Alan Rickman's greatest over-the-top villains. (Don't ask about spoons)

Widowmaker is a highly fatal type of heart attack.
There was also a movie called "K-19: The Widowmaker" about a submarine.
Your team with the SpongeBob 4 clue gave me grave pain 😂

Until they said "you put a rose in your mouth" I was staring here with a question mark above head. Definitely not something you immediately connect.
yeah, the top comment with dozens of upvotes talk about how no one should think of Rose is wild, how does one DON'T connect flower with dance?

Teatime for the Period 6 moment of the video? I was racking my brain on this part a lot.
Never mind it was for the other team lol -Hear me out, Princess 3: Pillow, Shakespeare, Didney Worl (Rose is a risk I'm willing to take)-
Scarlet Johanson played a part in Eight Legged Freaks.

Wait... it wasn't safety triangle?
Would "Laying pipe" 6 be an illegal clue? As it's 2 words but it's also a saying so that would be fine right?
Widowmaker is a sniper rifle in mass effect i don't see how it linked to military outside a video game!
Widowmaker IS a real gun name, it's the nickname for Winchester 1911, which serves in ww2
