I find this to be very true for me. I can sometimes get a few holes into a round and wonder why everything is 8 yards right of target. It’s because my foot alignment is jacked.
I’m not gonna lie, I’ve watched a BUNCH of your videos, and not everyone is perfect, but some do help for sure. That being said… THIS video makes a TON of sense, very informative and easy to digest. Keep it up. 💯
This specifically I was coached on during a fitting. I always felt I addressed the ball square, but he quickly showed me that my stance was closed. It felt “weird” when I was actually straight, but I got used to it and man what a difference.
Yep, this is me. Line up right with a shut club face, then either pull it straight down the middle, hit it a mile right or pull it dead left. Keeps my game exciting because I never know where it’s going 😂
Oh shiyt dude.. I think you just fixed my approach shots. I always aim the ball pick a spot but then feel like my body aiming at target too. Must be why I'm always to the right even with a straight ball flight
That’s just not accurate. If two lines are parallel 1m apart, then the aim point is literally 1m to the right of where your feet are aiming. Aiming one meter of yours negligible when you’re hitting the ball 100m to 150m. Even if both club and feet aim at the exact same point 100m away the difference in angles is so small it is also negligible. I t looks exaggerated on your example because it’s a chip shot. In which case your stance will be open so it isn’t aiming ay the target anyway
I think you’re missing the point. We aren’t robots or computers, small changes like this 100% affect your overall ball flight. Standing parallel will GREATLY improve your chances of hitting a straight shot, rather than taking an intersecting swing path which is MUCH harder to control for any golfer (although some may do it well). It sounds like you don’t actually play golf, but I can assure you everything makes a difference. I also think, if it didn’t make a difference, it wouldn’t be such a vital part in coaching.
I really like your content! It’s short, simple, and you back it up. Keep it up, always look forward to more of your videos!
Thank you Kyle!!! 🙌🏻
I feel like this is a super simple concept but I never thought about it. I’ll try to keep this and all other 50 things in mind before I swing🤣
A very easy mistake!!
Yo this channel is underrated
This is very much appreciated!! 🤝🏻

Bro if you still strike it well and consistently don’t change just aim left
Just pick a spot 5ft in front of the ball as your aiming point. Line up accordingly, easy.
I like it! Nicely done!

Think this one’s gonna help a lot with consistency as to where I want to aim at, big thanks.
DUH. This should be so obvious and yet I'm just now realizing watching this video🤦♂️ Thank you, great advice!
I have always been thankful that I have never struggled with alignment.
Of all the UA-cam golf lesson noise, this is a very good one.
My technique is to stand up straight and look that the club and my feet are aligned, then lean down an hit the ball.
This specifically I was coached on during a fitting. I always felt I addressed the ball square, but he quickly showed me that my stance was closed. It felt “weird” when I was actually straight, but I got used to it and man what a difference.
It’s where the club face is aimed. Don’t aim based off your feet. That simple.
I swear UA-cam knows my exact problem after every time I go to the range
fundamental, so important.

I have been finding out that I would actually lose like 5+ strokes a round if I just aimed correctly
This was Jack's way!!

I got you Sean!
I wonder how long ago this was that he figured that out. I barely crack 100 on a good day but I know how to aim my feet 😂
My biggest problem this
🙏
TLDR you're not straight unless it's a tiny bit closed.
