    However much illegal taxes you collect, Uganda wont go any further with development because those taxes go to individual pockets. I cry for this country.

    Please bring URA staffs who can answer questions very well, those ones have failed and it seems they don't even have enough information regarding taxes, taxable goods etc

      Greetings. To be honest, I was unable to understand what exactly these URA personnel were explaining regarding payable taxes. They are not clear, and sounds like they are an informed, they talk of many channels and are not mentioning these.
      For example, there's an issue regarding visa application to Uganda. No clear reasons and no proper explanation. It's only suggesting to travel and get clearance at entebbe airport. Uganda never clear on anything.

    The was clear on who should be taxed and every item that was exceeding 500$ was payable not small things like kids shoes.

    Oh my uganda, you mean it's a crime to buy an item for my family outside uganda????????, the government is just keeping a deaf ear when common and poor people Ugandans are being cheated by traders, exorbitant prices everywhere and on each item countrywide!, Think twice be4 you implement such decisions, Ugandans are financially constrained ;

    You're only oppressing Ugandans.. how many Ugandans can affordable brand new electronics such as fridges... I think its time you ban used CARS as well as traders in Uganda selling used clothes and many other things

    Am sure Ugandans that used to flock DXB with huge cargo! Of used Laptops and phones, Am sure they lost alot.
