- In this video I am flipping thru my Bible Journaling War Binder Set Up I made by using upcycled Happy Planner discs, along with discussing how the War Binder came about. I used Kelly Bangs Creative "My Faith Place" Volume 1 kit for Illustrated Faith. It made it easy to get creative and focus on the topics I wanted to. You are SO creative!! What an amazing binder!! I am doing a book club with ‘Fervent Prayer’ after watching the War Room ❤movie last year. It is a great read. Prayer is such an important part of our spiritual growth. Thanks for sharing this beautiful project!

Hi Gena, I don't know if you've shared this information before or not, but I had a question about sewing on paper/cardstock, etc. Do you have a special sewing maching dedicated to this or can a person use their sewing machine that they use for fabric items too? Thank you!

@@sharonwhite1619 Hi sweet Sharon! First, thanks for hanging out with me on your Friday Night! Appreciate You! I currently only have one sewing machine and the o my thing I do is switch out my needles when sewing on paper and keep them seperate. I primarily sew on paper with a Jean Needle because it can handle the thickness. When your stitches start to get wonky then you it’s time to change out your needle. I learned that from my super star seamstress friend Lisa Stander! One day I hope to buy a nice machine just for sewing on fabric but right now I just use a Singer One for both! ❤️

@@sharonwhite1619 another tip is to always have scrap paper of the same kind you are going to sew on and sew on it first. This has saved me tremendously when doing zig zag & my needle is dull…

This is so cute. I love all things retro vintage fabulous. My word of the year is “speak life” and I’ve been praying about it a lot and I want my faith planner / war binder super intentional but also beautiful!!

Hi!!! Okay so my main tabs are: Jesus, Scripture, Study, Devo - (devotionals), Prayer and Notes. Then my smaller tabs are kinda random. They are I love Jesus, Reading the Word, Remember, Teach Me, Notes & Thank You Jesus.

I like the plastic card holders. Are those from the Happy Planner? I have never seen them in the store.
Hi Susan! Yes, they are Happy Planner and I picked them up probably 5 years ago. I cannot find them on their site either. I will ask a friend who works with them and see if she knows if they are still carrying them.
I wonder if you could use project life card pocket pages?
I realized I never came back to this. Sorry Susan. So pocket pages seem to be far & fee between these days. Keep an eye out for specialty packs.

Not sure how I missed this😂 Love this! I thought I wanted to go with a binder that was quiet and peaceful but not in it much. Now I know why! The Word of God is exciting your binder reflects that. Mine is boring. So now for the adventure! Thank you for sharing❤️

Wow, I am Inspired! All my family are unbelievers so putting post it notes around the house is not an option. I'm going to try and refresh my happy planner faith journal and get creative. Being in Australia makes it super expensive to have kits shipped, so I'll access the links and find who offers kits in the digital format. Your binder is gorgeous ❤.
