I realize this suggestion is 10m late... But I use the monthly calendar for all my church / ministry events: church bdays, births, deaths, baptisms, small groups, classes, board meetings, picnics, book studies ... It helps to see what we have done in the year
I am so impressed with your copious notes! I am getting back to using a planner for more than just a calendar. Thank you for sharing. I need this all in my life to focus my time with the Lord.
my monthly is 1 - scripture of the day or verse of the day 2 - highlight of the day or what I am grateful for that day (the highlight of my gratitude because I also do daily or weekly gratitude logs) 3 - faith prompts or challenges 4 - What I love about myself is (to remind us during sad and dark days)
A monthly spread would be a great place to capture those 'God Winks.' Those moments when something in your day drove home the point from that morning's devotion. I do that with blessings of the day and expound on them in my prayer journal.
On the monthly spread write down the book or chapter you read in the Bible that day, or do prayer challenges and write the scriptures to the prayer challenges. For example: 30 days of Praising God. Write the scriptures of praising God in the month section, and pray the scripture. 30 days of Thanksgiving scriptures, 30 days of love scriptures, 30 days the different names of God, 30 days of Faith scriptures, 30 days of Spiritual Warfare scriptures,30 days of protection scriptures, 30 days of healing scriptures, 30 days of scriptures for my husband, children, etc. :)
On the monthly page, maybe put a gratitude, something that brought you joy, or a daily blessing each day. I often find it easier to fill in a blank, such as: ☀️ “Today I found joy in ...” ☀️ “God blessed me today by ...” ☀️ “Today I was tankful for ...” I also find that using a different phrase each month keeps me from falling into a rut.
If you're doing notes for the devotional you could use the monthly spread for one of your mixed media spreads related to the devotional. Or take one of the scripture s and do some of your hand-lettering with like some watercolor flowers using the colors of the devotional for the month. Definitely a good place to use up extra ephemera or stickers.
I have used the monthly ages to: write a song title for each day (praise, comfort, thankfulness, etc. I am a musician and this is a part of my worship). I have also used to note which chapters I have read in my 'read through the Bible' time. Love the layout in on your binder.
I have been doing something similar to this (this is very wonderful)...I like to choose a scripture and then center my prayer around that scripture. Usually I have other scriptures come to mind after my prayer and I write them on a 4x6 post it note ... so I have a running list...I choose one of those scriptures the following day. Your monthly spread would be a great place to keep that running list with the scripture reference and a key word. Just a thought. I am so grateful for all the women who are sharing their systems for studying the scriptures and developing a closer relationship with the Savior. Thank you for this video.
SO many helpful hints! I love using my Happy Planner for organizing my life, sermon notes, prayer requests, etc...but you offer many helpful ideas..thanks so much! I did not know We R Memory Keepers punch like that..I am still pulling out my huge Arc punch to use for my Bible study books, etc when I make more room for things I am working on. Thanks soo much!
Really inspiring video! I save all the pieces from used Happy Planner’s, and never thought to make a war binder. I have wanted to make one for the past year, but just couldn’t figure out what I wanted to do. I love your setup you created, such useful information. I’m going to follow your example with some different dividers. I don’t need a sermon section because I have been homebound due to serious chronic health issues and haven’t been able to go to church for year’s. But, on Sunday’s I watch a UA-cam video that would replace a sermon and have the notes in a separate note book which I can’t take out the pages. I’m going to set that up as my Sunday (something). I love everyone’s idea’s on what to use the monthly pages for. I can’t wait to get started! Thanks so much for sharing! 💗 ✝️
Thank you so much for sharing this. I've used the same War Binder (faith planner) for 2 years with a separate sermon notes notebook, and was wanting to change it up. I'm very inspired by how you are using yours. Looking forward to future videos to see how it works for you or if you change it up.
Love this!! Great ideas! I’ve been looking for a different way to organize my faith planner! OH Where did you get that beautiful prayer journal cover? (Start each day with a grateful heart and coffee) it’s beautiful! I don’t remember seeing it😍😍😮
This is a beautiful idea. When you first said you wanted something portable to take to church, I was thinking a 4x6 notebook that would fit in your purse. This is much more detailed and useful. I hope it works for you! I love everyone’s ideas, too.
Haha, you underestimate the size of my purse! I have taken it for the past three weeks, and it has been wonderful! I am considering moving my morning notes into it this summer as well.
I am a newbie to your videos but love what I see so far. For the monthly how about decorating it with stickers from the faith line? I love the Praise The Lord sticker book.
This was very interesting. Still trying to find my sweet spot with the Bible study I belong to (we alternate between a book of the Bible one month and a topic the next) and my own private reading etc. I love the disc system, but I don’t want to have too many notebooks laying around, lol. I won’t keep up with it if it is too complicated.
Such beautiful covers
I love them as well!
Thanks I’m going to head on over to her channel
Kenya is the best!
Gratitude. Blessings. Prayer lists.
Same to you!

i put affirmations in the monthly...
I love that!
I am so impressed with your copious notes! I am getting back to using a planner for more than just a calendar. Thank you for sharing. I need this all in my life to focus my time with the Lord.
You can do it!
my monthly is
1 - scripture of the day or verse of the day
2 - highlight of the day or what I am grateful for that day (the highlight of my gratitude because I also do daily or weekly gratitude logs)
3 - faith prompts or challenges

Love all of those!!!
List the way God blessed you each day. Love this. 🌹🌹
Thank you!
Thank you for this I love this idea

Love this system it has inspired me to do something similar. Thanks!
Yay, glad you liked it!

What a wonderful project! Love it!
Thanks so much!
Love this! Faith planning is how I got into happy planner! Love all these ideas!
Yay! Thank you!
I use the monthly as gratitude journal. It works great for me.
Wonderful idea! I am currently keeping my gratitude in a different journal, but could consider switching it up.
I love it,thank you for sharing!
You are so welcome!
Great ideas! I also save my dividers for things like this. Thank you for sharing!
You are so welcome!
Love this..beautiful book. If you're Catholic you could use the monthly boxes for the Saint of the Day or Feast Days.
I'm not, but that is a great suggestion for others that might be interested.
Monthly spreads u could use 4 answers 2 prayers, special events or items that blessed u.
Great idea!
I truly love your faith videos , I’m so inspired .
Maybe on the monthly calendar you could track a gratitude each day .
Love that!
Please give an update 💓
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I use my monthly spread for daily gratitude in one faith planner, I use the Bible Apps verse of the day in my Big faith planner
Love the gratitude idea for sure! I also write out the verse of the day in my BIG faith planner as well!

Thank you for sharing your idea - love it!!! Sounds like a system that is working really well for you.
My first thought for the Monthly spread was prayer requests that pop up throughout the month, but I really like the God Winks idea!
Both are great ideas!
Loveee this set up Elisa!! 🙌🏾🖤👏🏾✨
Thanks Jessa! It feels good to put it together, and I am already loving that it is holding most of my faith setup.
Do you have a video showing how you set up your prayer journal in the happy planner?
It is really just a functional happy notes. A beautiful cover with lined paper on the inside for writing out prayers.
Ideas from monthly spread:
1.one attribute you learned about God today.
2. One thing to be thankful for
3. One thing to let go of today .
All of those are fabulous ideas!
❤️ the peacock paper!
So fun, right? Definitely a paper that I love, but didn't know how I would use it otherwise. I am glad I found a place for it to live :)

The We R Memory Keepers punch is FANTASTIC! It has really been a game changer for me.

👍🏻
You could do a gratitude a day in the monthly’s.
Good idea!

Have fun getting yours all set up! It’s so nice to get to use things in your stash.
Love this. Thank you for sharing, I will be doing this with my extra HP dividers!
Have fun! It's a great way to reuse them!

Sure thing! I will definitely do a follow-up or two.
Lovely video. For the monthly pages you could write keys words for that month from sermons and messages which highlight the pages and themes.
Great tip!
Love this!! Great ideas! I’ve been looking for a different way to organize my faith planner!
OH
Where did you get that beautiful prayer journal cover? (Start each day with a grateful heart and coffee) it’s beautiful! I don’t remember seeing it😍😍😮
That one is from an Etsy shop...super sorry I don't remember which one!
@@ScrappyWife ok thanks!!
On my monthly, I am doing the "reading the Bible in one year." So I just have to go to my monthly to see what verses are for that particular day.
Nice!! I bet that is super convenient for studying!
Where did you get the faith dashboards
Those are HP dashboards - you can look on their website, or check Hobby Lobby!
I love this idea! Your posts are always positive and uplifting, please keep them coming.
Thank you! Will do!
For the monthly i track which devos i do with washi.
Ooooh, I like that. Plus, another opportunity to use washi!
@@ScrappyWife yes always a reason to use washi lol
Are you still using this the same way? Would love to know if this is working for you or if you have made adjustments to it.
I have made adjustments - check out my most recent faith planner setup!
I am a newbie to your videos but love what I see so far. For the monthly how about decorating it with stickers from the faith line? I love the Praise The Lord sticker book.
I haven't collected very many of the faith sticker books yet, but that is a fabulous idea!
I wonder if you could use the monthly as an index of sorts so you could see what devotional you are doing when.
That would definitely be a good idea.
Cómo puedo conseguirlas clases en español parprerar planes y hacerlos
I'm sorry, I don't do any lessons in Spanish.
Love this idea❤️❤️❤️. What is the name of the video of the girl you referenced??
ua-cam.com/video/AlCP2Q_iMh8/v-deo.html
I really like this idea. I have the same big Faith planner too and my pages look very similar to yours 😉
Loving my faith planner! I am hoping I like this smaller version as well.
Love what you doing. Out of curiosity, how many hours a day do you spend faithplanning?
Maybe 15-20 minutes on a daily basis. Not counting my Bible reading time.
Do you realize the CC fir this episode is in INDONESIAN!! I was so anxious to watch but hearing very bad and need captions.
The setting default is English.
What size Planner?
This is the Happy Planner Classic sized planner.
This was very interesting. Still trying to find my sweet spot with the Bible study I belong to (we alternate between a book of the Bible one month and a topic the next) and my own private reading etc. I love the disc system, but I don’t want to have too many notebooks laying around, lol. I totally get that. If it has too many steps, I also won't keep up with it. This system has been working pretty well for me.
I'm not sure if this fits but perhaps images of your prayers: abstract drawings, key words, inspirational images...
That would definitely be an interesting idea, and different from what I am doing in the rest of the binder.
Can someone tell me why this is a WAR Binder? Thanks.
It’s based off the movie “The War Room”.
What is a war binder? What does war stand for or mean?
It is in reference to a book/movie called "The War Room" which is all about using prayer in your life.
What does war binder mean
It refers to a prayer or faith journal. Kind of in reference to the movie "The War Room".
@@ScrappyWife okay thank you
What tape runner are you using? What is the name again of label maker? Thank you
