Great idea and i like the workmanship of this Vaultec, but what is the sense in locking up a gun and carrying it around with you if its not accessible? Better for a nite stand or inside a vehicle to lock up.
Yes my Glock 19 Gen5 mos(with a Holosun 507C and Streamlight TLR-8A) fits perfectly along with 4 spare magazines. I forgot to mention that have the 2.0 version which is slightly larger but still fit in a standard size backpack or underneath a car seat with ease.
I saw a guy drop it from about 18 inches onto concrete and it popped open. He also sprung it open with a hammer in about 3 seconds. They look cool, but a "safe" they are not.
I can't wait to get mine this Friday! Your review convinced me to get the same package deal you have with the sling bag and the guardian accessory, except I chose the black colored life pod instead.
4:52 lol how about MAGS dude?? Lot of people use this as their bump in the night bedside handgun safe Edit: ecen funnier you use it with a gun like 2 minutes later xD
This safe looks pretty sweet. I am preparing to order the Vaultek Slider NSL20i this friday. Wondering if I should add this lifepod and backpack to my cart. I'll have to convince my wife its a necessity ;0)
A) it's made of PLASTIC ... fucking PLASTIC B) It's got way too much play when those clips aren't latched giving plenty of room to reach a shim in and push the reset button C) PLASTIC. Admittedly, it's nice that you can disable the override key. That's a nice touch that I haven't really noticed on any other safe, but useless when you can easily cut the strap and carry it off, or just cut into the PLASTIC CASING and own whatever is inside. This is a toy, not a safe that barely gives the illusion of protection.
Worthless for protecting your gun from anything but a 4 year old child. There is a video of someone opening up one of this in less than 60s seconds with nothing but a screwdriver and a old piece of flat metal. This thing is a toy only and a dangerous one at that because it will give people a false sense of security when any preteen child can get into it.
it comes with a cable lock so u can lock it to your car seat frame, or any solid fixture. just like any other gun vault they or any other mfg'er produces.
Totally agree. I just got mine expecting the tether to be a cable, nope it's just a nylon belt. WTF!? Also, mine won't let me reprogram the default code, so it's useless. Still have heard nothing from their customer service. Nothing like getting something that is broken before you even use it and then having to pay to ship it back.
Nice color change transitions with the case... super DOPE!!!!
It was smooth like butter.
I really like the rack focus starting at 7:28
0:49 wata hell was that running behind you, Chucky? Lol
Any chance for a torcher test would love to see what it can take!
well it can be opened with a fork, so...
@@AchronTimeless not anymore, so.....
At first, I didn't really see the benefit of this. You have my interest now!! Thanks for the review, brother! 😎🇺🇲
Been waiting for something in this form factor!
Great idea and i like the workmanship of this Vaultec, but what is the sense in locking up a gun and carrying it around with you if its not accessible? Better for a nite stand or inside a vehicle to lock up.
Nice I like that and chad your vids are outstanding quality keep up the good work bro
3:09 that's where the fork goes. 🍴
Does the sling bag handle have a cut proof fabric or steel wire in to prevent it being cut off you?
I need the Venture kit but I’m guessing that particular kit might be discontinued.
Will a g19 with rmr fit in the lifepod?
Yes I have that setup and it fits fine
@@rickdavila1438 really?! Thanks
Great job and upfront transparency disclosure. 🤙
I saw a guy on YT open one of those exact models using only a fork.
Lockpickinglawer. They fixed the issue.
Do you have a new coupon code? Plan to get a lifepod and and VT, thank you.
great review man, just ordered one 🤙🏼
Great video and I assume that my Glock 19 will fit and can you place two magazines in the safe too?
Yes my Glock 19 Gen5 mos(with a Holosun 507C and Streamlight TLR-8A) fits perfectly along with 4 spare magazines.
I forgot to mention that have the 2.0 version which is slightly larger but still fit in a standard size backpack or underneath a car seat with ease.
Need one to keep in the Humvee.
No room
Coupon code doesn't work
I saw a guy drop it from about 18 inches onto concrete and it popped open. He also sprung it open with a hammer in about 3 seconds. They look cool, but a "safe" they are not.
will a full size Springfield XD 9 mm fit with magazines?
What's the smallest Vaultek that can hold a glock 34 with WML and red dot?
I wish they made this version with biometric access.
They have a biometric version I just got mine today
Any new coupon code that works?
FYI, The coupon code doesn't work across the board on Valtrex store. Have to spend at lease $150 :/
Coupon code is not working
Where did u get that price from
How much space is really left after adding a g19 & extra mag?
Finally a reason to buy a g43x or p365 😈
Will it fit a G23??!
Michael Yonkoski 19 & the 23 the same size...
Will a WC Beretta Centurion fit inside?
Coupon code not working
Great video!
Need to spend $150 in order for GLS19 to work, so pretty much pointless for this purchase since the most expensive one is $139.
Will this work for plane traveling to lock up in luggage for TSA?
Yes, TSA compliant as per the website.
Can you turn the sound off ?
I like this one!
Coupon code is invalid/expired
Well done video!!!!!!
I can't wait to get mine this Friday! Your review convinced me to get the same package deal you have with the sling bag and the guardian accessory, except I chose the black colored life pod instead.
Thanks Chad for the great review. Was wonder if this could also be used as a bedside safe.
4:52 lol how about MAGS dude?? Lot of people use this as their bump in the night bedside handgun safe

Waiting for a the lock picking lawyer review.
Lol. He'll be in that thing in under 15 seconds.
yeah! i had to replay, lol lmao you gave me the bird lol love the video.lol
Wow, just flip us off, I get it.
Very interesting product, but how does it stand up to a crowbar or a sledgehammer?
Chad Christopher I understand, it does look very tough and definitely would cause someone to think twice.
It certainly looks like it could be opened by prying with some type of strong metal device or crush it with a sledge hammer!! Plastic, hello🤧😧🤔
Got one for my wife. Hoping she'll like it as a side table safe for her little ass gun. I do not have a small gun so.. it's useless for me..
This safe looks pretty sweet. I am preparing to order the Vaultek Slider NSL20i this friday. Wondering if I should add this lifepod and backpack to my cart. I'll have to convince my wife its a necessity ;0)
@@greenlightshooting1 You already know it man. I hope it helps the channel out man.
My gun is 1/4 inch too long. So close!
A) it's made of PLASTIC ... fucking PLASTIC

C) PLASTIC.

Major note: always keep your id and passport on you. The world has gone nuts and you don't want who you are questioned.
So good it can be opened with a just a fork
a firm ware update was to be released to stop that exploit

Why did you flip me off bro? I thought we where cool
A shame it can be opened in seconds with a fork...

Oi aqui é Marcos ei ou kkkk
Over priced piece of plastic
What is the point of this, if someone wants to steal something they will just take the box. Pointless !!!!!
