Just a nitpick but I noticed here and on your website that your listed dimensions are confusing at first glance. Semantics, but it you are looking at the front of the safe as most people would as a point of reference, call the front to back the depth. Across the door laterally is the width. From top to bottom of the safe is the height. Pretty simple. Strange that your company would deviate from these basics. If I'm wrong, please let me know why. Not trying to troll. Otherwise, thanks for the very informative video.
We are waiting for a safe for 16-22 full-fledged guns with a safe height of 1500-1600mm, it would also be cool to make the MX series more capacious for cartridges.
MX model was designed by someone who is not familiar with the full size guns. Will not fit Staccato P /XC nor Canik Rival and other similar size guns. So prepare to store them on the shelf (fits two). The shelf is not adjustable , comes with the specific mounting positions. This safe would be perfect with another inch or two of vertical clearance. Even with mid size guns you need to be very careful. During critical moments, one will need unobstructed quick draw. At this price point, don’t understand why Vaultek designers didn’t take this under consideration. Personally I was disappointed with this purchase.
I know with the RS series, will actually send u a notification if someone tampers with ur vault if u download the app, I just wish there was an option to add a gps tracker to the lifepods
When will the Venture Accessory kit be available again for the LifePod/LifePod 2.0? I specifically need the carabiner adapter for my particular adventure needs.
sorry but some of this information is NOT correct. there is NO non biometric version of the 20 series that is BT compatible, and there is also no non biometric version of the VT that is BT compatible. Those WOULD be a great option as I dont trust biometric with little kids around the house, but would like the tamper log of the BT. so its either Biometrics with BT or just keypad alone for both the 20 and VT series.
Great question! It might be close. Note, 20 Series can fit a Glock 19 and a few spare magazines. The interior dimensions of 20 Series is 11" L x 5.75" W x 2" H". For peace of mind we have printable templates for test fitting. Visit vaulteksafe.com/support/what-fits/ and download the template. Then print the template on an 8.5″ x 11″ sheet of paper and place your valuables on the template to see if they fit. When printing, do not scale to fit, instead print at 100%.
Just bought the biometric version so that the kids could not win the lottery and accidentally hit the right keys to gain access. Disappointed that the keys cannot be turned off. Waste of money
Slider. This is not large enough to accommodate full size pistols and draw quickly in an emergency. Neither of my “full size “weapons fit well. One half inch more slide out and it would be fine. Xdm factory sights gets stuck and 1911 with mag well or magazine that is not flush without mag well will not work well.
DO NOT BUY the ra500i! I’ve had this for 6 months and now the door doesn’t open. The screen says “access granted” but the bars don’t retract! Getting ready to cut the back off to get the weapons out! Pretty ridiculous for the price!
@@darylarchuleta7604 People have used forks and paper clips to unlock them. I don't care what kind of fix you came up with, man. The fact that they were opened up like they were nothing speaks for itself. I am surprised you really need me to "explain" my statement. You should be ashamed of yourself. @@TM-ey5py calm down killer. I’m a guy who was watching this video and reading the comments. I came across your comment that simply said “your safes are a joke”. I am not familiar with these safes and the video does not mention them being a joke so having no point of reference, I asked a question of you which was to simply explain why they are a joke. If you have seen people use forks and paper clips to open them then ok, I’d consider that to be sufficient. Even if I were the guy that made the video and you perhaps had some insight into the safes lack of security you would be helping me with your information. No need for hostility when doing someone a favor. So thank you for your reply. 🍻
Not only that, but it's also known that the numbers on the key pads wear out after constantly putting your password in overtime. Unacceptable for something that costs damn near $2K. The company's response to fix this is to change your password every now and then to not use the same numbers in your password.
Also, awesome informational video. Concise, easy to follow, and well-laid out. Thank you! 🔥🔥🔥

Thank you for this comment, i was wondering about it and you just saved me a lot of money.
Why no fire protection, or water intrusion seals in case of flooded basement
Are these made in America? Specifically the RS lineup.
The Wi-fi Bluetooth versions of those are really empressive. But if they could somehow fit an audible alarm, that would really be something.

Will my Springfiels XD 9mm Full Size fit?
Will the 20 series hold a Glock 19 with the magazine in it as well as a red dot and a spare mag

Next question is what’s the difference between vt20i and vs20i?
How many safes can you store on the apps profile?
I see many videos showing them pry open keyboard and pick open in 3 minutes. That's not safe.
How deep are the Rs models
?
Seems they are calling the width the depth for some weird reason. See my comment above.

Should definitely cap!
Great now I just need a green card 😂👌
