Personally I think this is the BEST video you could have done. It showed the truth, not all these claims of all this magical horsepower that so many ppl swear on 40 stacks of bible's that busa's make. You spoke & showed the absolute truth. You gained a whole level of respect from me on showing the world the truth & not hyped up numbers. I've said for years technology caught up with the busa, it's a hell of a bike once you put money into it like any bike. The top end is monster on the street past 1/8 of a mile. Bikes today have more electronical tuning abilities than bikes from 15 years ago. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU 4 showing once & 4 all the real numbers on a gen 1 busa. Excellent video as usual & hope you continue 2 keep tuning these bike & showing their true capabilities & not the fantasies that some ppl come up with ✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿

Its at the wheel or at the crank.
150 at the wheel stil is like 175 at the crank.
À gen 1 is 175 at the crank.

Bought a last of the gen 1 ‘s in 016.
So I started doing some mods.First up was a full yoshi 4 into 1 system waked a PC5 and K&N air filter with no airbox mod then got it dyno at Patterson’s Ducati and it pulled 173hp at the rear wheel. So since then I’ve done the usual maintenance check’s valve clearance’s/compression test/ sinc throttle bodies/rev retarder and slightly hotter ridium plugs. So I’ve just done 125.000 K’s and this thing is going like a train. There’s more but it will be to long. Got to be happy with that. Cheers BUSA07

07-16 are basically the same bike. Minor changes in those years. 2017+ is when they introduced a new look. There’s probably a little bit difference in the motor and what not, quick shifters, but in general they aren’t making much more power at all over the 07-16 bikes.

Thsts plenty of HP, have a geb1 with 167, exhaust, K @ N filter and PC5....nothing like a modern 1000cc but still plenty quick with heaps of torque. It's all about getting it running sweet on the Dyno. Love both Generations.. but like the gen1 more. Great bikes, great motors, enjoy.

1300 four cilinder is smooth as butter.
Its real easy to drive 40, in anny gear. From 1 to 6.. it all runs smooth.

@Chris Moore I am planning on installing a TTS Supercharger on my 2008 Hayabusa this Fall, IF I can be patient enough to wait till then, but my question is, after I do the supercharger can you get her tuned up for me?
I’d like to make a trip of it and schedule a dyno and tune apt w you, a we discussed previously, and then do your track class the next day….if possible.
My question is are you game to do the tune on the bike after the supercharger install?
We are doing a few other mods at the same time and would like to do multiple tunes, one for pump gas and one for MR12
