Awsome. Thanx so much for posting this. One of my (& I'm sure many) favorite songs to hear bobby play. I'd love to see some of the other stuff you have on video. Again much thanks for the huge smile on my face.
@BDOG1963 thanks for the correction. i knew this wasn't the SD show (it was actually in east county, Alpine) from summer '06. i couldn't recall the setlist offhand but i knew they didn't have those guests at that show.

Been a bobby fan for almost 20 years, listened to almost everything hes every done, but in every mix he is so low in there he's easily muted out. He plays some absolutely amazing chops that just get blurred into nothing, guy running to soundboard!!!! turn bob up in the mix!!!!!
Took me years to hear the difference between his and Garcia's guitar. Not just the fills, but he did a lot of leads he rarely gets credit. E.g., half of the Casey Jones leads, ditto Minglewood. I'm pretty sure the opening lead on Terrapin is his too.
We saw them at the House of lues in Hollywood this was definitely one of my favorites.. although when they came out to do encores I screamed "JOHNNY B. GOODE" and threw a pick @ Bobby and he picked it up and they broke into it 🤣!!
Ahhh how great was Pirate Shirt-era Bobby???
Cliffy Bogaty that’s hilarious. Also was wearing eye glasses

The date a location is wrong... According to a trusted source (lol) it's Long Beach 2005 ;)
its really hard to get a soprano sax to sound perfectly in key
I wouldn't want it to I want to trip harder than hard I saw the universe and it was beautiful
Kenny looks excited to have a whole horn section accompany him
.... my strange heroes lead me on

My God! Talent abounds, the entire group is tight! Yeah, Jerry would have had fun with this one, but these guys sound great!
Who was on the other guitar?

Bob sounds & looks great, horns sound off key adding
strangeness to the tune...
