I love paper piecing...yes, it is a more traditional process....I also love Angela Walters on Midnight Quilting...it is all good! Just depends on what you are making...I don't see a lot of paper piecing on modern quilts....just a different esthetic using foundation p.piecing!
I purchased a paper piecing pattern/kit on Etsy And I’m still very new to paper piecing so if I were to email you the pattern could you do me the favor of doing a UA-cam video showing how to cut fabric and make paper piecing that I have the pattern for I would appreciate it
Don’t cut up all your fabric. You can be more economical with your fabric once you get going. It is a little easier if you start with short strips or chunks. I don’t cut up all my pieces for one block. I use a light box to cut chunks as I go along. I set up my sewing station with an iron on my left and on the right is my light box and next to that is my cutting. Hope that helps. Good luck
ua-cam.com/video/dymFoK7FINw/v-deo.html it suggests to use the mirror function when printing your papers out. So, each paper is printed 2 times, one normal and one mirror. Then use the mirror to cut your fabric. You still need it bigger then the mirror piece for seam allowance.
Я так мечтала увидеть этот мастер класс. И вот оно чудо ! Спасибо большое вы все так ясно рассказали!

Look up FPP (foundation paper piece) free patterns on UA-cam or Pinterest. Watching other videos might help.

This is totally confusing.
Sry but ... the Midnight Quilt Show is young ,fresh and modern. And this is so ... old .. :(
stop promoting her channel, she rushes through everything and is a advocate of drinking alcohol for relaxation!
