You are wonderful in Mrs. Doubtfire; which I've watched several times and plan on re-watching. I am so chagrined that you were put through that. I hope that is an issue that is being seriously taken up and resolved; now that it is in the open...hearts and hugs to you

The one evening I went to a club with my friends and there were a couple of girls that I pinched on their bottoms. I really have regret and feel bad about it. I didn't do it to harm anybody but I realise what harm I did. I cannot go back to change what I did, but can only say that I will never do it again. #Metoo have made me realise what struggles you girls face on a daily basis... I am sorry

Thank you for being brave and speaking out and for supporting the other women who have been brave and spoken out. It's long past time for a change. Time's up for the abusers! Again, thank you. You're awesome.

Sorry it’s taking me awhile to get all my emails read etc but it was a great little video. I hear you and understand where you are coming from re: staying silent people thinking it didn’t affect you when it did. Thanks for sharing your story. Thanks for connecting with us and being our friend. Thanks for having writing classes who knows maybe I’ll get to America some day and come along to them. All the best xx

I can see this is really hard for you to even talk about. Its so difficult to get one's head around this shit. Hollywood is such a twisted plastic place, that on the one hand its really easy for us mere mortals to think 'hey fuck it that's just part of the gig'. And of course that's not ok. And the horrifying reality of it, is so plainly obvious with you talking about it (and clearly barely scratching the surface of your feelings) that this is a HUGE thing. A huge thing that has been criminally ignored, a huge thing that reaches waaaay beyond Hollywood into many other tendrils of life that actually, it DOES affect us all. And leaves so many people responsible.
In the same way that the horror of Jimmy Saville over in the UK, that was ignored, hushed up, for decades. How could that be. How could there be people who were so deadened to their feelings that they let this shit happen, simply for fame? For money? for power?
Bleugh. I'm rambling. Love to you and yours as always. I'm only 4 years late in commenting. But then, it hasn't gone away.

Thanks for sharing, a little hard to watch though as it feels as though you are dying of anxiety and it just breathes through my screen and onto me

Lisa, I miss you as an actress. I can only imagine what young actresses in that industry especially have dealt with.

Thank you for sharing your story Lisa. I still love you no matter what. You'll always be my favorite person, don't matter if you're or you're not a actress anymore you don't deserve to be treated like that. You got super duper love for me all the way. You're still subbed and followed by me.

I kind of got the impression from your book that you had experienced it even though you didn;t go into any sort of detail. It's really sd that so many women were put through this. It certainly wasn't something that got emphasized when I was a film student, so I never really understood how pervasive it was until the movement began or whether it was just a stereotypical behavior of Hollywood men.

Now, if we can hold trump accountable, but that will never happen as long as Republicans and his base continue to act out "the empiror's new clothes".

I loved mrs doubtfire and now my daughters love watching it too. I remember how I thought Lisa was so pretty in the film and I’m happy to see her change her career and get away from satanic Hollywood.
