Instead of landing somewhere around the player, I've been able to land it right at his feet. The accuracy and precision of this kick is seriously underrated, along with the power you can generate. Definitely prefer it over a drive! Thanks for the vid my dude.

I followed these steps and with enough confidence the i shot the ball with more power than usual and it curved into the corner. I was so happy because achieving something like this boosts my selfconfidence

I'm 20, always played centerback and been ok because of my strength and height, but I'm shocking with the ball at my feet. I practiced yesterday for a couple hours and embarassed myself in front of everyone else training, but I think that's a part of the process. Thank you for the great tutorial.

The goals in our school are a bit small so I basically fill the goal so it's hard to get past me but I mostly play defense, I work on my technique everyday at home with a slightly deflated ball by kicking it around everywhere as if it's part of my body and the ball control comes naturally.

I’ve seen probably every tutorial for bending the shot. This is still the most helpful. One of the last things to stick for me was keeping the ankle locked solidly through contact with the ball. It’s difficult to be conscious of the difference. If you’re shooting a lot of accidental knuckle balls it’s probably a loose ankle. The other tip is to imagine showing your studs to the keeper through the follow through which results in keeping the correct foot angle. Otherwise you wind up striking a more angled laces shot which is a good technique but won’t get the movement you want.

Super cool vid. I always thought it was better to make contact with the ball in the 2pm spot in order to generate the right amount of topspin. But in this vid, he's saying to make contact lower down at the 4 or 5pm spot on the ball. Quality stuff 👍

I've been doing all these skills to practice freekicks that you showed. I agree with the toe raise thing because it adds a nice trajectory to the ball. Also one thing I wanna say to the players who wants to be good at freekicks. Power is not always the key I mean it's good to have some pace on the ball but hitting the target is more important. If you place it nice and perfectly on the target, then you are more likely to score. Watch some of Messi freekicks to get the idea

i can shoot a knuckle ball properly, but i never seem to be able to curve the ball
