"Do it with friends!" *Currently sitting in lockdown having to learn OSCE's on a mannequin*
Currently having to practice for OSCE on a teddy bear lol
@@tammy8779 me too omg i feel like i am going to die any tips..??!
@@kawlah3452 I'm afraid not - I'm just trying to practice practice practice. I think the more automated it becomes the less the nerves can get to you on exam day - at least that's what I'm hoping! Good luck, x
@@tammy8779 How long does it take to revise for yr1 osces?
@@tammy8779 ha im so stupid I've been practicing on air
Oh my lord. My OSCEs are coming in the next 24 hours. I don't know hy but watching these video helps calm me down
Wish I had this last year! I got through OSCEs all right but it wasn’t easy - best way I found to prepare was coming up with my own OSCE stations and keep practicing with friends and like Ali said, practicing for the viva questions with the common, chronic (stable) conditions - though our viva questions were often completely unrelated to the examination findings - for example, my respiratory station was someone with a pneumonectomy scar but my viva questions and data interpretation were all on pneumonia. The two key tips for passing OSCEs are looking and sounding confident and not doing anything that would the patient in danger.
Well this is very conveniently timed, thanks dude. I appreciate the guy that gave alternatives to practicing on friends given that I barely have any
I find writing out the steps and marking myself against the schema helpful, then moving onto videoing myself examining a teddy bear or non-med friend and marking myself that way helpful.
TCosy Videoing is a good idea! Will give that a go 👍🏼
Agree on practice with 3-4 friends and learning in isolation for the examinations, treatments
Even after 2 years this is still such top-tier information. Thank you very much Ali and his friends for their guidance!!!
I would just like to thank you for teaching me how to study, thank you very much your method works wonders.
Love it
With your tips, I passed all my theory exams Ali. Now I'm here for OSCE tips. 😁
Does anyone have a list of things for the feasible conditions/scenarios that may come up in OSCEs?
Hey Ali Hi-Five🖐
Can I ask what textbooks you used to prepare for OSCE? Thanks.
IM GONNA HAVE OSCEs EXAM IN A WEEK
