i thought the square wave part was a rickroll from the first few notes 🤣 Overall, awesome melody! One suggestion,the layered melody sounds too distracting,maybe you could reduce it's sound?
Thanks! The first notes I played are indeed from the never gonna give you up song so its technically a rickroll😂😭 and yeah, in the last part I put everything together and the layers are def way too loud but in the actual beat I didnt use all layers at the same time. Also, I couldnt export the video in stereo for some reason so everything sounds kinda merged together but in reality the layers are wide and tucked in the back

Thats not how 8 bit would sound tho since it only has 4, i think, channels. Iirc it 2 square waves 1 triangle wave and 1 noise channel (At least on the NES)
