I love the idea of an inconvenience store. The shopkeeper is a kitten and it doesn't know how to run a store, it sleeps on a bag of powdered sugar behind the counter most of the time. The store sells bottlecaps (used), interesting looking rocks, and leaves that the kitten decided are really fun to chase around, and thought you should try it out some time.
kinda give me the "its a rainy day in an unfamiliar town in a shop that the shopkeeper doesnt care about their customer and just keep reading the newspaper and you just ran into the shop for shelter" vibe
In my dnd session I had a shopkeeper who only sold things the party didn't want. "I've got pretty much everything," she would say. "What do you want?" But of course if the pcs mentioned something they wanted, she didn't have that particular thing. So they had to find creative ways to think of reasons they wouldn't want things. "Well then you can take this off my hands at least," the shopkeeper would say. I played this in the background. Great vibes
"Damn, I can't imagine wanting a buster sword. Just think of how tiring it would be to cut down hordes of monsters with a giant blade like that! That would be such a drain; I'm not sure it's worth even considering!"
Aww. This theme makes me think of a small child running a shop. It would be a tiny stall outside of the main shop with a crooked "Shop" sign. Most of the stuff the child sells is useless, but the smile on that face everytime you buy something makes every gold piece spent worth it. This is a great song 8/10.
She might not be selling acid arrows or Blight armor pieces, but the tincture components are always available for cheap, and that's nice. Bonus points for the one run where you spec into alchemy and need tinctures _all the time_
Unfortunately all real stores have are the same 50 songs on loop, the exception being a single Harris Teeter in my location that sometimes, for some unknown reason, plays Highway Star by Deep Purple.
Y'know the inkeeper's kid in Undertale? This sounds like it'd be their shop's theme, where they'd sell sticks and half eaten snacks for way higher than they should be. They're saving up to buy a toy they really want.
Wait, that's adorable! I almost instantly associated this song with a Toby Fox style shop, too. I feel like I would go to the shop not cause I need to buy anything, but just because the shop owner is sweet, cute, or super nice company like an old granny or the inkeeper's kid, like you said.
The exact vibes of this: This shop pops up near the beginning of your adventure, the first little small town you find yourself in. Everyone knows each other and your still on unfamiliar grounds. The shop is small but quaint, and the shopkeeper may not have the best items but is proud of the little, kind of run down old store and is fairly friendly to you.
I really like how the music takes those slightly unexpected turns, like looking at an item in the shop and going "ooh shiny" only to realize that you cannot use it because you have the wrong class/build
This feels like a niche little shop in the middle of nowhere and you don’t really want anything inside but its inside is made with so much care and love that you decide to buy a little trinket anyway and the shopkeep says “thanks for buying something!” And for once you feel like it’s genuine, it’s the voice of someone just trying to make ends meet and is genuinely thankful that you bought something. And as you leave, you see that same shopkeep stocking the shelves with a small smile and you feel that, you made their day, just a bit better. Edit: congrats on 1 mil views azali!

@@AZALI00013holy shit, but is there any chance you could make a really long looping version? This is absolutely perfect background music, scratches the brain perfectly!
Gives "shopkeeper will sit down for a coffee with you and lament life's troubles, but still won't sell you anything unless you have exact change" kinda vibes
the notes are actually ice cream and edible you can’t change my mi- this is one of stores that I will stay in forever just to sit there and vibe for no reason I LOVE IT‼️
this feels like the theme of the first shop you reach in an rpg that only sells weak weapons and potions, and as you progress you're glad to discover new and better shops, but when parts of this song become a recurring motif in the main theme and boss theme, you get a little nostalgic for that quaint little shop that saved you all the way back then. and then the shopkeep shows up during the boss battle and casts a sick nasty spell on the boss, blasting it to smithereens
I could see it as the little first shopkeeper that you can invest in to help him achieve their dreams of being a big-city shopkeeper, with this simple little theme growing in complexity as their stock improves.
@@FriskDrinksBrisk the only thing that checks off is "rpg", "shop", "shopkeep" and "recurring motif" (in stuff like dogsong, enemy approaching, I don't remember more) And "nostalgic" too, that doesn't have to do with the game making you feel nostalgic on purpose tho
i experienced emotional flashbacks during the first two seconds because it reminded me of moonsetter until 0:02, other than that absolutely lovely song
Somehow this brings me joy, a quaint little shop that is always slightly behind the times, selling things I really wanted yesterday but not anymore. The shopkeep tries so hard, and so I still buy a thing or two, just because that smile brings me joy.
This sounds like such a beautiful mix of happiness and sadness, like a store in the rain or the feeling of a person stocking the same items day after day in a depressing loop.
It gives me the vibes of a pastel shop selling antiques or whatever you need to go on a silly adventure. Not sure why I think of Pokemon or Omori with this. And the vibe feels nostalgic for sure
This feels to me like a secondary store. Hand-me-downs, garage sale items, things of like a Salvation Army, Goodwill, Alleyway Coffee shop sorta vibe. That hole in the wall place that not many people but the locals go to, and has your daily customers that keep that cozy time-capsule feel. Fills me with hope that this place will last forever, as it is its own little pocket dimension away from everything else.
The song evokes in me the vibe that this store exists in a semi dystopic world where no one really wants to be there, but here in this store, a small collection of people have found a place of solace and respite. There’s this feeling that even if things aren’t ideal, and you’re not here to buy anything useful, people go here for a reason. I might be a bit of a weirdo though cause this isn’t really what I see other talking about lol
Somehow, this song just hit me at exactly the perfect mood with just the right kinda tone… it sounds so simple and lighthearted but also very calming and soothing. Like, makes me want to drink a mug of hot chocolate while watching the snow on a cold winter day kinda music. Love shopping at the inconvenience store I’m going to buy so much useless junk to clog my inventory with
This song gives me the idea of a normal looking shop, but when you go to ask something, it says something like “You asked the shop owner a question but he did not reply, he just kept staring at the light on the desk.“
The shopkeeper feels like someone who tries not to be too chatty with customers so you focus on buying and not talking, but gives in and shows you their true personality as you unlock more dialogue options
I imagine that belonging to a shop in a game that detects where the last place you saved is and then detects all items that would be useful there just to remove them from the shops random catalog, so it constantly sells things that are full on useless on that moment and that have no sign will be useful, then at a random moment, the item IS useful but the shop suddenly doesn't have it, and to make it worse, some items ARE indeed useless, making it a constant russian roulette whenever you buy things
To me this sounds like reflecting on every good memory you’ve ever had while basking in the warm sun. You’re sitting in a golden meadow surrounded by butterflies and ladybugs while small tears of happiness slowly drip down your face as you lay in tall grass content, in the moment, and relaxed. All the stresses of life melting away as giant fluffy clouds hover in the sky above Taking the shape of various things. As you watch the sky go a beautiful purple-pink at sunset you think to yourself: “what a gorgeous day it was.”
fsr this song made me burst out laughing, i can just imagine walking into a shop and being absolutely overwhelmed by how ridiculously useless the products are. great job
rather pleasant to listen to. I concur with most of the comments that it doesn't sound like this shop does particularly good business, but it's relaxing enough to shelter in the rain from.
Random clerk: “Hi, welcome to $ store, how may I help you?” Eve: “can I get a health potion?” Random clerk: “We don’t sell those here, do you want cornflakes?” Eve: “uhhh…”
"I'm sorry sir, but just because *you* started in a town far away doesn't mean that *I* should stock items for people that are moderately deep into a journey. Every town can be where someone starts their journey and new patrons come through here at a fairly decent rate, all of which look at me like a helpful shopkeep."
This sounds delightful, I don’t see why I wouldn’t want anything from this shop! (All in all, option A could potentially help you improve how you compose in terms of complexity within a set timeframe. And option B gives you that little bit more creative freedom to make a complex song you’re satisfied with)
i think you've been blessed by my algorithm.. i always get your songs in my recommended just a few minutes after you post them also this is really good!! I LOVE SHOP THEMES RAUGRHHHH!!!
This doesn't really sound like a Toby Fox song, but it *does* sound like something that could have been in Undertale or Deltarune. Especially with the name "Inconvenience Store" the other guy added, because that sounds *exactly* like a bit Undertale or Deltarune would do. A store that only sells things you would never pay money for.
Imagine a shop in an RPG that has a bunch of junk crafting items that are of zero relevance to you until after 80 hours of playtime, you're struggling on the secret boss until you realize that now is he time when you need all those items you complained about.
ok I'm going to need a 10 hour loop of this one immediately. this was my introduction to your channel and it gives me so much the vibes of a store that's just out of stock of everything I came in there for and I'm sweating trying to pick out something to buy so I don't look like I'm stealing (but the shopkeeper doesn't even care and didn't notice me coming in to begin with)
This feels like a jollyful soundtrack from delatrune, while passing through the village I love these pixel-game-alike soundtracks! Well done Straight up subscribed, hope theres more to come!
This is a really pretty theme, it's easy to imagine it being used in a game. Great job! Also, I love the idea of an ‘inconvenience store'! It can be annoying if a game clearly tries but fails to make a store worth visiting, but making it intentionally useless could be a great joke- if there are multiple, it might even add a slight suspense as to whether you're going to get a real store or a fake one
just found out you exsist. this channel is about to become my entire music taste update - it did 2 months later - songs still awesome, music taste shifted to mii things though
it feels like a shop where i'd go every day and meet a nice couple running it, I'd get a couple things, have conversation with the store owners, (they're the cashiers.) and just relax by the store after leaving. It would have items that seemingly only fit my use cases due to everyone, jokingly or not, calling it "the inconvenience store".
This is beautifully well written. The harmonies work very well with the melodic changes. Overall, a lovely and clearly well thought through composition.
This was cute :) I most definitely would buy a strange monkey paw from this shop 😌 Honestly, you could upload whenever you want and I’d be grateful 🫡 if you need more time to put out content you’re really proud of, by all means. Butttt, I really enjoyed this simple song too!
Hitting some Wilmot's Warehouse vibes here, which I love! It feels like I'm too poor for anything useful this shop sells, and anything I can afford is useless to me. Like yeah I could buy that mutton leg but I'll have to eat it RIGHT NOW and I'm at full health. Dead on with the title honestly, bravo!
Option B is the one I'd like to see personally. All the songs you put extra effort into sound absolutely stunning, and getting more of that would be nice. So basically, quality over quantity.
This track has a really cozy feeling to it that I absolutely adore~ I can imagine a cashier stuck at the register with a super-picky customer who's nagging about the store's products and their prices. Gives off some cartoon vibes as well, very nice! ❤

@@AZALI00013holy shit, but is there any chance you could make a really long looping version? This is absolutely perfect background music, scratches the brain perfectly!
@@timmt2884 i suppose, on computer, you could right-click on this video and choose Loop
Gives "shopkeeper will sit down for a coffee with you and lament life's troubles, but still won't sell you anything unless you have exact change" kinda vibes
the notes are actually ice cream and edible you can’t change my mi-
this is one of stores that I will stay in forever just to sit there and vibe for no reason
I LOVE IT‼️
I’m amazed at how you regularly come up with such beautiful compositions time after time :0

@@AZALI00013gettin' kinda zesty in here 😩
this feels like the theme of the first shop you reach in an rpg that only sells weak weapons and potions, and as you progress you're glad to discover new and better shops, but when parts of this song become a recurring motif in the main theme and boss theme, you get a little nostalgic for that quaint little shop that saved you all the way back then. and then the shopkeep shows up during the boss battle and casts a sick nasty spell on the boss, blasting it to smithereens
Thanks, now i'm saving this comment to probably use as inspiration in like 7 years from now on (if you don't mind, of course).
Temmie. You are talking about Temmie.
I could see it as the little first shopkeeper that you can invest in to help him achieve their dreams of being a big-city shopkeeper, with this simple little theme growing in complexity as their stock improves.
@@FriskDrinksBrisk the only thing that checks off is "rpg", "shop", "shopkeep" and "recurring motif" (in stuff like dogsong, enemy approaching, I don't remember more)
And "nostalgic" too, that doesn't have to do with the game making you feel nostalgic on purpose tho
sounds like a shop in a strange dream, the shopkeeper doesn't have a face, and you can't find what you want. the isles keep changing.
i experienced emotional flashbacks during the first two seconds because it reminded me of moonsetter until 0:02, other than that absolutely lovely song
Somehow this brings me joy, a quaint little shop that is always slightly behind the times, selling things I really wanted yesterday but not anymore. The shopkeep tries so hard, and so I still buy a thing or two, just because that smile brings me joy.
I'm going to put this in my forever playlist (I only put in songs that I can listen to for days on end)
When you’re trying to sell your random loot to the merchant but they really want you to buy health potions that do very little for your hp
God I would love to work at a place like that
Or it would be like you're in the past and that was what the store was.
It's like getting to a checkpoint after the hardest fight of your life, and the merchant sells nothing you need 💀
edit: appreciate it
LMAO THAT SOUNDS HILARIOUS
Wandering trader
or getting there after the hardest fight and the merchant sells everything you DID need for the fight.
We need this music by all the nomadic merchants in elden ring
Enter the Gungeon moment
The song evokes in me the vibe that this store exists in a semi dystopic world where no one really wants to be there, but here in this store, a small collection of people have found a place of solace and respite. There’s this feeling that even if things aren’t ideal, and you’re not here to buy anything useful, people go here for a reason.
I might be a bit of a weirdo though cause this isn’t really what I see other talking about lol
Game system that identifies the type of build you're going for, then removes every item that would benefit it from the random pool.
that sounds amazing oh my god
Feels good, like a cozy shop where you just chat with the shopkeep or friends while other people purchase things.
They may be selling things that I don't want, but their theme song might be what I always needed 👍
This is oddly comforting while acknowledging a small struggle of some kind
This is like the Pokémon theme of a town that has a long lost legendary Pokémon in it and you’re about to awaken it.
This song is so cute! It's like a small business filled with useless things, but the old lady that runs it is so sweet.
THATS SUCH A HILARIOUS IDEA OH MY GOD
It doesn't matter if you post twice a week, as long as you keep making music that's what matters!
I only listened to this once or twice a couple days ago, but it’s memorable enough it comes back to my mind. Very nice leitmotif.
thank you very much !!!!
it makes me really happy to hear this :)
This sounds like the theme for the place that you'd have to return to very frequently because it's literally keeping you alive
The bass in this track when you're listening on a good, calibrated set of headphones is something else, man.
i love how this manages to sound incredibly melancholic
To me this sounds like reflecting on every good memory you’ve ever had while basking in the warm sun. You’re sitting in a golden meadow surrounded by butterflies and ladybugs while small tears of happiness slowly drip down your face as you lay in tall grass content, in the moment, and relaxed. All the stresses of life melting away as giant fluffy clouds hover in the sky above
Taking the shape of various things. As you watch the sky go a beautiful purple-pink at sunset you think to yourself: “what a gorgeous day it was.”
fsr this song made me burst out laughing, i can just imagine walking into a shop and being absolutely overwhelmed by how ridiculously useless the products are. great job
The shop may sell things I don't want, but the atmosphere is so pleasant that I buy them anyway! I love it
you’re little, playing pokemon while actively falling asleep, and you just walked into the pokemart instead of the pokemon center
rather pleasant to listen to.
You 100% need to be hired to make game music this stuff is incredible!
"I'm sorry sir, but just because *you* started in a town far away doesn't mean that *I* should stock items for people that are moderately deep into a journey. Every town can be where someone starts their journey and new patrons come through here at a fairly decent rate, all of which look at me like a helpful shopkeep."
I was born to like, subscribe and hit that bell.
This sounds delightful, I don’t see why I wouldn’t want anything from this shop!
(All in all, option A could potentially help you improve how you compose in terms of complexity within a set timeframe. And option B gives you that little bit more creative freedom to make a complex song you’re satisfied with)
i think ill go with option b !!!
i dont plan on making the frequency of uploads _too much_ bigger than it already is >:)
i think you've been blessed by my algorithm.. i always get your songs in my recommended just a few minutes after you post them
also this is really good!! I LOVE SHOP THEMES RAUGRHHHH!!!
I have come back after a while and damn I feel that your mixing skills improved even more

@@AZALI00013 Oui oui :seid:
this gives me vibes of "taking a walk and thinking about the past"
it's a pretty good little music
This doesn't really sound like a Toby Fox song, but it *does* sound like something that could have been in Undertale or Deltarune. Especially with the name "Inconvenience Store" the other guy added, because that sounds *exactly* like a bit Undertale or Deltarune would do. A store that only sells things you would never pay money for.
it does sort of sound like moonsetter which is a toby fox song from homestuck
I think the idea of the song fits Spamton
I may not want anything in the shop, but I refuse to leave because the music is so good
This gives me a lot of "Undertale - Shop" vibes, I love it
"sorry, all we have is the basics today"- inventory never changes even after half the planet is blown off
this is such a chill vibe but also makes you want to leave the store immediately and i love it
WANTS TO MAKE YOU LEAVE THE STORE IMMEDIATELY WHAT HAHAHAHAHA
why does this make me feel so many conflicting emotions
Imagine a shop in an RPG that has a bunch of junk crafting items that are of zero relevance to you until after 80 hours of playtime, you're struggling on the secret boss until you realize that now is he time when you need all those items you complained about.
silliest little shop ever, makes me wanna buy the wares just so the little guy selling you the stuff is happy
ok I'm going to need a 10 hour loop of this one immediately. this was my introduction to your channel and it gives me so much the vibes of a store that's just out of stock of everything I came in there for and I'm sweating trying to pick out something to buy so I don't look like I'm stealing (but the shopkeeper doesn't even care and didn't notice me coming in to begin with)
This feels like a jollyful soundtrack from delatrune, while passing through the village
I love these pixel-game-alike soundtracks! Well done
Straight up subscribed, hope theres more to come!
I'll do my best not to let you down !!! :)
Example items: The chaos core: gives you 10 positive random status effect, only works if you have a status that makes you immune to other statuses
@@managerkiki7132Here's another: lightning flash. Increases your speed by 5x….But only for the length of time a flash of lightning lasts
this is the kind of rainy day vibes i love from music
i could fall asleep listening to this
If this shop was in a video game, i bet it holds important lore in their milk bottles or weird notebooks
just found out you exsist. this channel is about to become my entire music taste

2 months later - songs still awesome, music taste shifted to mii things though
welcome to the channel !!!!!!! :)
I'm really glad you found me haha
Catchy
haha I'm very glad you think so !!!
thank you for listening :)
it feels like a shop where i'd go every day and meet a nice couple running it, I'd get a couple things, have conversation with the store owners, (they're the cashiers.) and just relax by the store after leaving. It would have items that seemingly only fit my use cases due to everyone, jokingly or not, calling it "the inconvenience store".
This is beautifully well written. The harmonies work very well with the melodic changes. Overall, a lovely and clearly well thought through composition.
This was cute :) I most definitely would buy a strange monkey paw from this shop 😌
Honestly, you could upload whenever you want and I’d be grateful 🫡 if you need more time to put out content you’re really proud of, by all means.
Best shop theme/shopkeeper jokes
Every item they sell is something with a relatively high drop rate.
Option B is the one I'd like to see personally. All the songs you put extra effort into sound absolutely stunning, and getting more of that would be nice. So basically, quality over quantity.
I think that's what I may go for myself !!!
option B just sounds a lot more interesting to me >:)
Its incredible how you can create such cool songs with any instrument! Sounds kinda like game chill location theme!
I love this so much, such a pleasant sound. This is what the inside of my head sounds like
This track has a really cozy feeling to it that I absolutely adore~ I can imagine a cashier stuck at the register with a super-picky customer who's nagging about the store's products and their prices. Gives off some cartoon vibes as well, very nice! ❤
