  • India’s budget airline, IndiGo, is set to cause a huge shift in the aviation industry. This is after the airline struck a deal, rumored to be worth more than $9 billion, to purchase the much-wanted A350-900. Already one of Airbus’ largest customers for narrow-body planes, Indigo has bet on the French aircraft manufacturer giant to supply the wide body aircraft that will enable it to compete with domestic and regional airlines, and it’s about to get even better. Let’s take a look.

Very happy to see our favorite airline Indigo expand to long haul flights. Travelled to South East Asia on Indigo recently. Felt like flying Domestic.
Exact same experience even after 17 yrs of operations.
Clean fresh Aircraft + On time performance.

Airbus is not French, it's joint-European. France is merely where Airbus airplanes are finally assembled.

As well as France, Airbus have final assembly lines in Germany, Spain, Canada, USA and China and parts are manufactured and assembled in plenty of other countries.
They have a HQ in the Netherlands.
Calling them 'French' is just plain wrong although the French government do own nearly 11% of the company's shares.

Thank You you beat me to it. I just happened to live about 15 miles from the air bus factory in north-east Wales which makes the wings.🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇬🇧

Would the 330 neo be a better air craft in domestic flights in India as the cerpacity is there and air bus does this.

WOW! Air ordered its Airbus 330s with little idea what they were going to do with them. It was largely a case of mismanagement.

Really poor transcript (bit like Boeing these days) - Airbus is not French, it is Pan-european (& the A350 is over 50% British with the Rolls Royce engines)

Airbus is a consortium right across the European continent. The wings are built in the UK, tail planes in spain etc. Its assembled in the central location of France for logistic reasons. If your statements are soo inaccurate, is this really an Ai blog or something real ?
The warning cannot be clearer, there are too many aircraft been bought by over optimistic airlines creating a capacity bubble by 2031 causing the potential collapse of startup airlines and more restrictions on central nodes. From no capacity, to too much capacity, a real problem. Passenger want narrow body jets now with two two two configurations of lower densities as airlines aim to concentrate on long haul travel.
Perhaps the shut-down of Boeing is a good thing for the industry after all ?

😱. 'Aviatrix' is a specialist aviation channel that thinks Airbus is a FRENCH firm??? 😂
I guess you'll be telling us that Boeing is Canadian next.
Do your research or get off, guys. This is fundamental.
