Yes, a 7 ft is the only table 8 ball should be played on.

@@justsomeguy6474 Curious why you think that. I grew up playing 8 ball on 12 foot. What are the origins of 8 ball, was it a rule at one time ?

@@fedup7416 It's the congestion of the balls on the small table that make 8 ball tough. Playing on a 12 ft is even worse than on a 9 ft. A 7 ft table is the regulation size for all 8 ball leagues world wide.

International 8 ball rules. But it isn’t a foul at all major rule sets around the world,

@UltimatePoolUSA but the table wasn't open, he was stripes and in that shot he did not make a stripe but potted a solid and was able to continue shooting?

@@greghoman3836 the stripe did drop into the bottom corner (bottom of the screen), took it's time but both the stripe and solid dropped. So International 8 Ball Rules (I play in England), as long as you hit your ball first, if you pot both your ball and your opponents you can continue, if it was just the opponents then it's loss of turn and the opponent takes the table.
