1970’s gymnast here, your bars aren’t set correctly. Hanging from high bar, swinging forward your hips will hit the area of low bar like when casting for a back hip circle. We called the move you’re trying a front summy. Once you get your bars set correctly you could also learn an Eagle, which is a cast from high bar, wrap low bar, release and catch high bar with inverted hands. Casting from high and wrapping to low was so much fun. Have fun!
In the 70s you would set the bar far enough that you could 'wrap' your hip on the low bar while hanging on to the high bar if that makes sense. The setting was of course a little different for each gymnast depending on their height or length if you will.

Thank you so much!! I would recommend working on your press against the wall, and try to get inverted with your feet close to your hands in straddle (like a pancake position) then closing to HS! This helps me a lot! My handstands also always get better by just putting in more reps 🐒

It was the difference that was causing you the trouble. In virtually every attempt you made you got sufficient height. What you did not do even when you succeeded was get laterally anywhere near as close to the high bar. In the original when she was upside down with her legs still pointed nearly straight down her thighs were practically close enough to touch the high bar. It was hard to tell in reality how far exactly from the angle, but maybe 9 inches to a foot. Whereas your thighs even in your successful attempt were probably over 3 ft. away. It is the horizontal push that you needed to work on. Pause your video with you upside down at 10:46 and compare to pausing her upside down at 0:01 & 0:03. Notic bar proximity on the horizontal axis.

I literally screamed “ouchhhhhhhh!!!” When you hit your heels on the bar
I don't think bars go that close anymore to be honest. back in the 80's we had to "wrap" the lower bar while gripping top bar with our hips. LOL
