She is in the category of Allie Gline and Lisa Eldridge. These 3 women do the best timeless, elegant most beautiful makeup. There’s a Shelly woman too who also is like them, but I can’t think of anyone else who fits consistently in this timeless elegance category and I watch every makeup creator known to man on here there’s A LOT saturating the beauty community, so to only have 3 or 4 I’m able to name says everything.
I kind of just found your channel but I am watching a lot of your videos and i'm obsessed. I just love the chatty, kind of like friends talking, chill mood. I would love to see more vlog type videos but to be honest, I will watch whatever you publish. ☺️
I would love if you did a whole series on finding a skin tint that beats or comes close to beating your love for Mac Face and Body! Everything you said about feeling self-conscious when putting on a heavy foundation is exactly how I feel! Please do take us on the skin tint journey with you :)
The 160 brightner renewal concealer from Maybelline is far far the best pink one from the market … i’ve tried a lot of high ends pink concealers and over and over this is my pick till now
Love all of your recommendations!! Gotta ask - little monster to little monster… Haus Labs foundation Vs Makeup by Mario foundation? Which do you prefer? Also, happy belated bday!! 💚
Melissa, have you tried tried the Bourjois healthy mix foundation? It’s been a staple for me for such a long time and it’s so affordable. I think you might enjoy it, it’s quite natural looking.
It’s a good foundation for me. I think it’s good for normal to dry skin types, medium coverage, skin like finish and lasts a good amount on my skin. I have very dry skin. This foundation looks the best on me in spring and summer when the humidity is up :) but it does have a fragrance.
Applying your concealer and foundation with your fingers before going back in with a brush or sponge I think is by far the best way to apply it. You keep the coverage you’d otherwise lose, if using a sponge or even a brush, it melts it into the skin and evens out the application, while also giving you a lot more control of where the most and least amount of coverage is needed. You also don’t risk having your base picked up, like you do with a tool, possibly creating an issue of a bald spot where an area won’t accept pigment. Then after you go back in and tap it all in with a brush or sponge. I found one makeup artist who applies foundation, primer, moisturizer and serums even with the palm of his hands before going back in with a tool, and you never can detect the base products on the face because of how well he’s able to melt it into the skin that way, and he doesn’t lose a lot of product like you do any time you use a tool.
With our tan med skin, do you find that you can wear pink or yellow to lighten up or matte highlight under your eyes? I can swing pink in Winter or cooler months and yellow in warmer months.
The ELF halo glow is about $40 in Australia whereas the Charlotte Tilbury is around $60. If it was a lot cheaper like in the USA I'd try it but for a $20 difference I'll stick with the CT. Even drugstore foundations in Australia start at around $40 when they are less than $10 in the USA! We call it the Australia tax - companies just charge us more for the same product (outside of currency conversion).
Do you mean how do you clean it if you get it on your eyelid? If so, you will want to wait until it dries and then take a clean mascara spoolie, and gently rub it over the spots where you accidentally got mascara. It should come right off without disturbing your eye makeup.
@@jewelsbarbie kind of. I get it on my upper lashline, not really the lid. Like the wand bristles go through the lashes and touch the top of the lashline, if that makes sense. It looks like I just did thick liquid liner afterwards lol. The spoolie trick tends to touch my lashes from the top and clump them up. A mascara guard works but it's cumbersome and I was wondering if there was an easier technique.
@@notimportant123 ohh, I see. Have you tried getting the Q-tips that have a very pointy tip? Those might work to get into that tiny space without disturbing your lashes.
I dislike Maybelline concealer cus of it's sponge on the nozzle .the product quality is good❤❤❤❤❤ but it is tacky after two applications and there is no way to change the sponge it is stuck to the top 🤢🤢🤢
Place your faith on Jesus. Jesus died so that you can have everlasting life. Jesus is the way the truth and the life. No one gets to the Father but by him. Trust Jesus. Repent. Call Out to Jesus Now Have a good day

Hi! Love seeing you posting again ❤ what are your thoughts on the Chanel Les Beiges foundation?
I love your curly hair...
It’s a good foundation for me. I think it’s good for normal to dry skin types, medium coverage, skin like finish and lasts a good amount on my skin. I have very dry skin. This foundation looks the best on me in spring and summer when the humidity is up :) but it does have a fragrance.
Can you try the Patrick Ta contour cream and powder duo?

I remember loving to use brown mascara back in HS, that was in like 2006.
Hi Melissa , love your videos❤ which foundation tint you recommend for brown spots hyperpigmentation on face?
Yes!!! Please do the video with the skin tint (MAC F&B) and Dior forever concealer. Love those products.

Work a day in your life...
Elf glow whatever was way too dark for me. I wish they had some lighter shades. I don't even wear the lightest of the CT one and its beautiful.
YES to your cream bronzer comments... Why has no one else said this? They are orange on fair skin.
^Ive never been a setting spray person. But can a setting spray make a dewy cream blush stay all day?
Your dressing sense is good...
Scot Barn is the one who made under painting techniques big doing Jlo makeup and then he did on Tati Beauty long time ago.
Everything I have tried from Elfcis fabulous
Love your love the most...

What shade in the elf halo glow are you?
How do you clean up the mascara from your upper lashline?

I'm glad the 90s are coming back. The current trend is horrible though it was even more atrocious a few years ago.
I tried it!! Didn’t work for me at all!!! I was soooo disappointed!!!!
Love your garden...
I still don’t get the difference between a contour and bronzer.
