Okay, yes, I am totally feeling this look. What a fresh take on makeup! I feel like everyone was starting to look the same with the ultra contouring and full coverage. I love this! Thank his screams youthful and fun. Now I need to go to Ulta and check out these Nudestix.
I like the look. It’s essentially what I do most days (I don’t contour every day) but I’m not about to call it boy beat. I’m in my early 40s. It was called minimalist makeup in the 90s. I didn’t call it that either. Minimalist, grunge and natural/neutral colors ruled the day then, and sometimes collided. It’s my happy place, and was a throw back to 70s wash and go and a rejection of 80s full psycho glam. Shoulder pads, giant earrings, fuchsia blush streaks, blue eyeshadow and boiled bunnies everywhere I like makeup and always enjoyed rare occasions when I got to go a bit heavier (plays, dance recitals, special occasions), but I’m glad to see more doing natural looks. I have no idea how people wear fake lashes and 27 layers of stage makeup frequently. I will always prefer sheer to medium coverage foundations and a lighter hand.

You look fabulous! I wear this sort of a look on the daily, as I am a Pilates instructor and dancer. I use Glamglow's nude shimmery primer, a light dusting of the Hourglass Ethereal powder, curl my lashes, tame my brows with some clear gel or wax, and finish with whichever creamy lip product I am into at the moment. I too, like my freckles to show. 😄
