Your wedding looked beautiful. I love how much thought you put into the theme. The Gibson girl era was a vibe! It is so validating to hear you talk about your experience with makeup colors. I relate to pretty much everything you said about what colors do and do not work for you. My skin is light to medium with olive undertones. I tend to look good in really bright, cool toned clothing colors. However, I think I might be muted because I look better in muted eyeshadow colors. I’m thinking about using Miriam to do a color analysis. I watched your video about finding the perfect neutral eyeshadow palette. I have a massive depotted eyeshadow collection and I took all my muted rosy cool toned singles and put them in one perfect magnetic eyeshadow palette for every day use :) Thanks!
I love it. Thank you for sharing. I had about 20 guests and cocktails at my wedding. It was still a nightmare to plan. I do live on the other side of the country from the place I was actually getting married so that didn't help. I got dressed at a hotel, took photos, took my dress off, went to the venue, put my dress back on, and then saw my husband for the first time as I walked down the aisle. I am so happy for you that your wedding is a happy memory. My wedding memories are tainted now from marital problems. I don't even have a printed picture. Thanks for sharing your happiness.
Your method sounds way better than mine! I wasn't too impressed with my photographers' coordinating ability, I think they were new to event photos, but the photos they did take were lovely so they were qualified artistically, if that makes sense. For instance I have about 200 pictures of my shoes and jewelry artfully arranged on the dressing table where I got ready but none of me and my father, or me posing with my veil on, etc. It's weird but oh well, life goes on. There are only like 5 pictures total from my parents' wedding so I guess it doesn't really matter. I'm sorry your wedding day memories aren't a source of joy anymore :(
@@LexiLadonna Your wedding looked absolutely wonderful! Maybe you and your dad can get dressed up again, find some cherry blossoms in the spring, and take some really special photos. Perhaps with a different photographer. I had specifically said candids were my priority and I got 80% "stand here and smile", so wedding photography really seems like a difficult task.
