I am 38 and my skin is pretty "normal" with no dryness or particular oily areas. I do have early signs of aging like fine lines/texture, as well as some sun damage and REDNESS!
I don't use fake tan, but I get very tan naturally in the summer as I have an olive undertone so my face is often a LOT lighter than my body, because I keep my face very well protected to keep my melasma under control and signs of aging at bay!

TF Badass mascara is the BEST mascara I've ever used, and I've used them all. Even beats the CT. Give it a shot
I LOVE the shade & illuminate foundation (MUST be put on in very thin layers with a brush otherwise it breaks up, it doesn't go on well with a sponge) it lasts really well. I have a couple of the blush trios and found them very matte and rather meh. I do like the Terra bronzer, but I don't think it is any better than Pat Mcgrath or Gucci. I've got the hourglass veil primer at the moment, but will try the Tom Ford primer when that one is finished
just bought the shade and illuminate foundation for the first time yesterday! so excited to use something that required no powder and just perfected my skin in a single pass🤯i couldn’t believe it when i tried it!

Thanks for the video. I wear emotionproof Tom ford mascara in noir and just love it. If I dont have that one around, I prefer pillow talk mascara. Highly recommend trying out TF emotionproof mascara.❤

I have tried a FEW items from TF. Shade and Illuminate foundation is lovely, and has spf 50-a rare benefit! I have a matte lipstick in “Cherie”, probably a limited edition, and I love it because it performs a bit like a satin, a nice finish, not drying. I have a gloss in the shade “Ravish,” it smells exactly like the Pat McGrath lust glosses, but doesn’t last as long, and it’s not as impactful. I have two shadow quads, Body Heat and Honeymoon. Pretty, decent blendability and performance, but I agree that over all they are “meh.” I also have the liquid lip in Lark! I do enjoy it, because my lips don’t feel tortured by it. I have two fragrances, Bitter Peach and Eau De Vert Boheme, and I LOVE those. I also have a Bitter Peach candle, which fragrances the entire room even if you don’t light it! Love that, too. I am laughing, because I guess that is more than a few items. 😂 The only reason I have any of them is that we have a store in the US that sells overstock items at 50-75% off, called the Cosmetics Company Store. I couldn’t have justified purchasing any of these full price!

I adore the Tom Ford Extreme mascara as it seems to go and go and you can touch it up. I often use it to touch up and zhuzh up other mascaras later in the day. I am about to try the Gxve mascara as it sounds great.
Ok. So I bought the TF matte foundation and primer. I LOVE them both. The TF Matte is so much better for me in hotter weather. The TF primer has knocked the hourglass veil clean off the top spot
Going a bit off piste here, Charlotte, but every time I have watched one of your videos since you had your lip blush, I have marvelled at the gorgeous colour of your lips without lipstick. I have wanted lip blush for 30+ years (corpse lips here - genuinely blue/grey lip tone) but I could just never justify it to myself. Your lip blush shade is precisely and exactly the colour I always wanted and honestly, I love the colour of your lips more now *before* you put lipstick on than after. It's always good to have the choice though! 😉
The Tom Ford Emotionproof is my holy grail mascara. The brush is large for my short lashes BUT the formula is so good that I don’t mind the brush.
Really want to try more of their base products, they sound so lovely! Feel the complete opposite on the blushes. Never got to try the original single shade ones but I feel these are so easy to blend, and I find them to be the most smoothing and blurring. I've tried a lot of luxury blushes (chanel, dior, gucci, etc) as it's my favorite category of makeup but others don't compare to the tom ford formula, IMO. I do agree on the shade selection though! Others have much better shades to choose from.
You look totally stunning Mrs H! Love Tom Ford primer and the stick foundation too! My ultimate favourite from him is his double ended eyeliner pen-a present for Christmas. It is pricey but I use it everyday and it is still showing no signs of drying out!!!❤
I absolutely love the Shade and Illuminate foundation. The undertones are just perfect in this foundation, unlike the many foundations I have tried. I have dry skin, and this foundation is good for me. This, I think is worth the price. I love his Flame lipstick in the matte formula. I’m on my 3rd tube, and I do not like matte lipsticks, lol. But, his formula is great. I used to have an old blush, yes, agree with you there. It was great. And, I have not picked up his new 2 toned blushes, and won’t. I never tried his eyeshadows, hard to beat PML or ND, imo. I want to check out the new concealer though.
I mix the matte and the shade/illuminate foundation together.
I've decluttered a couple tf palettes and I can see myself decluttering the rest because they're so underwhelming and when I use them I find myself annoyed more than enjoying the process and honestly who needs that..
I agree. Just bought nude dip wanting it for a long time. Love the colour sceme, but the shadows barely show up. And I'm pale! No pigment whatsoever. 🙄😒😒😒

Have you noticed a difference in the different formula's? I've heared compliments about the cream formula, but the original formula seems to be so so.
Charlotte, you HAVE to try the TF Badass Mascara. This is my go-to absolutely favourite mascara in the world!I am always on the hunt for a dupe (because of the price) but I haven't found one yet.
when I see Tom ford's quads I thing all that money and they don't look anything untill you see them applied I think you have got to see them on someone your eyeshadow to day looks loverly I think the older I'm getting my taste in eyeshadow is changing alot of the stuff I bought last year I've only used a handful of times I bought a charlotte tilbury quad pillow talk when I bought the brown mascara and eye liner I've worn that to death so I couldn't say tom ford make up is off the table any more thankyou fir this to day it was a nice refresh his products xx
I have never bought a TF eye palette because seriously-the prices! And they never looked all that remarkable in terms of being all that different than many other brands colour stories. BUT after seeing you wearing this one in this video and a few others, it just looked so gorgeous yet simple in an understated way that I actually splurged and am writing this now after just having applied it. Clearly I’ll have to wait to see how it wears on me but I think it will be one I’ll reach for when I want something that I can put on quickly and still have an elegant and simple look for any day - and who doesn’t want that? We can’t all rock the bright colours for professional work environments. Edit to add: the only other TF product I’ve invested in is the soft matte foundation, which I bought this spring at the Sephora sale and love….maybe I’ll add the stick foundation or the primer at the next sale. Would love to get your opinion on the stick foundation because I’ve heard so many raves about it.

Today (Saturday) at Macy's Backstage (a U.S. store with Macy's old stock or returns) I scored a Tom Ford quad palette for $40 USD. I got the shade Honeymoon. They had two other shades - Sous Le Sable and Golden Hour.
I definitely can't wait to try it out but it is more of fall colors for me. 😊

I love the way the foundation looks on you. I am surprised you don't like it as much. I have a question.... I have semi-dry skin, leaning more dry/de-hydrated. I see how lovely the foundation looks on you and was wondering if it would be good for my type of skin.

Loved this video ❤I buy lots of Tom Ford at the Cosmetics Company Store for 40-75 percent off. I adore the eyeshadow quads especially the wet/dry formula. I love how easy they are to use and the versatility. I often use them for one and done looks. I love Terra bronzer and the cream eyeshadow duos that come with the toppers (they have been dc). I have tried one satin lipstick and was not impressed and it also went bad in under a year which is something that other people have posted about on Instagram. I tried the Oasis highlighter on in store and found it too dark and metallic on my fair skin. I hope to try foundation, concealer and blush next.❤

Allana Davidson always talks about the Badass Black mascara so so highly. It's on my list to try. Have u tried that one? The glowy blushes they had made my texture show so badly 😢

I like the Traceless Soft Matte foundation, I bought this before the Shade and Illuminate and I think it will always have a special place in my heart (🤣🤣). Seriously, I'm not fond of glowy foundations and prefer a more "natural matte/luminous" - the Soft Matte is just perfect.
I'm so happy, I had tried to get the Hazy Sensuality quad a short while ago, but it was out of stock ... I've managed to grab it (using your link, of course). I love the soft yet shimmery look this palette creates - I can't wait for Monday 👏👏👏

I do have lots of Tom Ford. Yes I always feel like it’s too expensive but when I receive them I feel like I’m glad to have it. The luxurious packaging and especially when he does limited packaging. I feel special when I use it. Although I’m a luxury makeup gal. This looks beautiful on you. Honeymoon is one of my favorite palettes and the new one Tropical Dusk. Xo 💖👄💄
Only tried his eye quads, blushers, eye liners, and eyebrow stick - so I haven't ever tried any complexion products. Fancy trying a foundation cream stick though. Love my Lancome one and is great to travel with (as you say).
Favourite quads are Daydream and Kaki Velours (did I spell that right? I feel the need to insert an aitch. Hm.) Anyway - I think he's a bit pricey but his products do deliver - so ya know... ok as a treat now and again.
I also just treated myself to a cheeky Rose Prick perfume via duty free on my recent jaunt to America last month and ooooffffff - SO super good! Highly recommend - hmmmmammah!

How is the coverage on the soft matte concealer? I have literally tried almost every concealer on the market and can’t find my holy grail. I am 62 with dry under eyes and some fine lines. I have moderate circles, and hollows. I just returned Natasha Denonas concealer. I liked the formula but would like more coverage. What do you think? Love your videos …even though we’re in 2 different age groups!
I almost bought that blush duo 2 weeks ago I did get the Hazy quad and the shade and illuminate foundation in sepia , it looks great on but I think it breaks me out I didn't think to look at the ingredients and the spf ingredients in it I'm allergic to 😭 I didn't even think their was spf in that foundation.
I have day dream and that is my favorite for sure .
I agree about the eyeshadow (is this an unpopular opinion?) but I did enjoy Honeymoon for the holidays and I am enjoying the new Tropical Dusk. But generally they are not amazing. I enjoy the highlighting duo Eclat but darn, everything from the brand is soooo expensive!

I’m surprised terra works on you. I’m much fairer than you and it’s subtle even on me lol. It really is the perfect color but I think if you already own the Charlotte tilbury filmstar in light, it’s a very similar color blended on the skin
There is a definite classy look to the makeup that you don’t see with other brands.

I wonder though, if I was choosing the wrong shade and that was the problem. I have dry skin and it’s aging-and the foundations seem to just bring out dryness and lines I didn’t know I had! I did buy this eye palette and one other from this collection which are my first BUT… I haven’t even tried them yet! 😮 I love the Fiber Brow Gel. I haven’t tried a lot of TF and the price turns me off. I go with the idea if I don’t try products, then I won’t fall in love with them and have to suffer the hefty price tag (here’s looking at you VB and your stylus!!! 💸). 😂❤❤
I may try the primer and stick concealer at some point. I think packaging is nice but overall I am underwhelmed by the products. Pat McGrath, Natasha Denona, Bobby Brown are all (in my opinion) much better and cost alot less!🤣

Almost everyone I know, including almost every beauty influencer has mentioned that his quads hard pan. I have 2 quads and stopped there because it’s nerve racking. Both are the wet dry formula but imagine going in with a wet brush when his formula is already prone to hard pan. I can’t believe his quads still sell due to the numerous ppl that have experienced this with different quads. They are beautiful no doubt..if not for that issue. From a luxury brand with such a ridiculous price tag, that’s unacceptable. Just my two cents on the brands eyeshadows.

Does the Tom Ford matte foundation oxidize?
Probably not a popular view, I feel they're really Estee lauder hiding behind TF name. Just reminds me of my mum's makeup bag. On saying that you have made me look at the brand more and I've ordered lark. I bought the eyebrow blade shape a while back and had it less than six months, always put the top on and made sure it clicked and suddenly it went colourless 😮
Hi Charlotte or other followers, is it still worth looking at make up in the duty free shop at the airport, I know its not really duty free anymore. I'm off to a wedding in Canada and want a really good foundation so should I buy now or hold out until the airport. Since I stopped smoking 10 years ago I don't run like a mad woman into duty free lol xxx

Definitely overpriced. I have one quad which was just okay. I haven’t tried the foundation which is probably the next thing I’ll try. Thanks for your insights. I’ve been tempted by their sparkly lip balm and highlighter but haven’t given in.
I think Tom ford packaging looks nice but feels cheap. It’s mostly lightweight plastic.
I hated the Tom Ford and Chantellchie mascaras.
