Hourglass scattered shadows are my absolute favs in this type of shimmer for not 20 year olds. The prettiest shade is reflect, but I also like smoke and ray. But reflect is 😍😍😍
Charlotte, you should do a video of all your favorite makeup . No matter when it came out. But just your favorite of all the past years . Love the pink sweater.
I still love Clinique’s Black Honey Almost Lipstick, especially in the fall and winter. I still reach for and appreciate my UD eyeliners and MAC lipliners too. UD Space Cowboy is also still a staple in my collection. All great and older products. ❤
I love it Charlotte, my dad used to call me magpie. I miss that man. :) Evidently you and I are kindred spirits. Lol. I used to be kind of shy as a teen but not so much since then.
Well I brought my first Chanel foundation that’s as that exact one when I was 15-16 and I’m 33 now I’m pretty sure it hadn’t just come out back then either
I had the same experience with the Hourglass single pot eyeshadows. I tried swatching a sample at Sephora. When I opened the pot glitter fell out all over my hand. I walked away and never looked back. I think the shadow you and I tried was completely dried out and that is why the glitter impression 😅 Glad to see a positive review, I can give these another shot. Happy Holidays!
I (re)discovered Charlotte Tilbury’s Rebel eye quad in a box in my garage from when we moved earlier this year. I love the green/gold colors and can’t wait to try this on again!!
My fave Dior bullet lipstick is the shade 772 classic Matt, a everyday lippy . The scattered lights are all beautiful, Aurora is a beautiful pink, ray and reflect are colours you would love as I do. An everyday look combo Aurora on the eyes and classic Matt on the lips. Have you tried illlamaqua chrome pots, not to be slept on.
Oooohhh i love this topic - le mepris is my most used lipstick in my entire lipstick collection because i use it not only on its own but also to on top of other lipsticks if i want to change the tone of another shade ; ok my favorite older products in my collection that only discovered or tried this year : Tatcha liquid silk canvas primer Tatcha balm silk canvas primer - specifically as a winter season primer for my skin type and texture Charlotte Tilbury airbrush flawless setting powder - as an under-eye setting powder 🥰 Hourglass veil translucent setting powder Charlotte Tilbury rock n kohl eyeliners in shades brown and grey Lan come lash idole mascara - this one is only a few years old but still why have i never tried this before and thank you to the wonderful employee at my Sephora who recommended it to me out of the 2 i was looking at, i have down turned eyes at my outer corners at the flick on the outer edge of this want helps me lift the lashes in my outer corners like nothing else I’ve tried Pat McGrath blush shades lovestruck, electric bloom & paradise venus - i loved paradise venus this past fall / autumn and i am loving lovestruck and electric bloom this winter
Charlotte, I sympathize. Once upon a time my favorite lipliner of all time fell out of my purse on the way to the airport. My MIL found it and mailed it to me a month later. I realized after it was too late that I immediately opened the package and in my excitement accidentally threw away the lipliner with the mailer in one fell swoop. I understand what it is to love and to have lost a beautiful lippie in one whirlwind day ❤🩹
Hi Charlotte, might I suggest that you don’t put the pictures of the products you’re going to talk about on your thumbnail? Make it a surprise so people watch your video! Sometimes I pass on your videos if I see products I’m not interested in learning more about…just a suggestion. Love your content!❤️
Thanks for making my 2023 so enjoyable! You look beautiful, as always. The color of your shirt is stunning on you, as is your makeup. Blessings for a wonderful 2024.❤
I have decided that 2024 is my year of replacement only buying. I want to rediscover what I already have because there is a reason I still have it. I need to remember! It will be a test of my wills to not purchase everything new and shiny, but if I can do it and in a leap year no less (a whole extra day this next year!), I will be so proud of myself! Now if something new does come out and I just have to have it, I won't deny myself completely, but I am going to try to have more self-control. My bank account will thank me, I'm sure!
Hourglass scattered lights in smoke is my favorite shade of eyeshadow in my entire collection. I also have reflect, which is a little less taupe, but not hugely different on the eyes. I have “Ray” on my wishlist, but I need to swatch it in person
Mothership 1 is all time fav Staple palette like the black suit of the eyeshadow palettes and once you start using you feel the instant shock And underrated for me ♥️ Mothership 4 is not getting the love she deserves too.. the formula is weird, i’ve never seen shimmers that would work perfectly washed when overblended It’s sad that pat’s brand is not giving us the same stuff anymore
@@krisabelericamonte-bautist9729 exactly, you can control the impact you want with each shade with no effort And would great on every skin tone Maybe many of us don’t realize that no need to use 3-4 shades to have an eye look This palette is a jewelry box, you pick 1 statement piece that elevates all whole look
The original EL Double Wear remains one of the best foundations on the market in my opinion. Wow La Mepris looks so different on you. I am lighter than you and on me La Mepris is too light and I actually don't like it. I use it as a topper on my velvets when I want them to be more creamy but not change colour too much. Kitten Mischief is my perfect peach nude from LE.
I use the La Mer foundation - I wish it was not so expensive but I've tried 10 million foundations and none are as good as it is - its thin but even one coat takes redness way down and it does not emphasis dry skin or lines in any way
OK, I had to know what is on your eyes that’s making them look so blue today! LE Ground coffee?? I was expecting that you had maybe switched to a blue eyeliner or maybe Lisa‘s gray one. Wow! Beautiful, beautiful look!
One product that I can’t believe never caught on is the Hourglass retouching fluid. It’s like a refresher for your concealer or you can just use it as a concealer. It’s so lightweight and BLENDS amazingly with a finger. It’s the best hidden gem!! Keep it in my purse at all times. I saw very recently Beautylish had it on sale. I swear by it.
I would love to see this or a shop my stash video become a regular thing in 2024! ❤ It feels like we never have time to sincerely appreciate what we already own. I literally just decluttered the CT palette.😮 I ruthlessly tossed everything I haven’t touched in years away. I used to love Benefit RollerLash but haven’t had it in years either. I’ve literally followed mascara along with you. I found your channel when you were using the RollerLash!! I need that HG shadow now. That was a stunning swatch! ❤
The Charlotte tilbury large 12 pan Pillow talk palette pulls verry orange on my cool toned pale skintone, because of that I wear it almost never. Makes me somehow little sad, because I remember that I was so happy when I purchased it. I can make it work if I do a more full face look with a little more foundation than I normally wear and some bronzer. Maby I have to revisit it. ( I would love you to do a tutorial with that palette Charlotte. To enspire me and your other vieuwers that have that palette somewhere in or draws...)
I bought it as well when it was released and had the same problem. I’m cool toned with fair skin. It’s made me a little wary of anything named Pillowtalk from CT. The exception is her Pillowtalk medium lipstick & liner. Her Pillowtalk blushes are cool tones too. But in general, CT leans a bit orange on me so I have to be careful & swatch products in store & then walk outside to see the true color.
Charlotte: Check your drawers, you don't know what might be there. Me: I just threw out a bunch of stuff in my drawers. Like literally yesterday. Just chucked a bunch of old palettes and complexion products.
I had a very similar experience with that mepris Lisa shade - i didn’t buy it b/c i thought it wouldn’t work and then saw Martina Lily wear it in a tutorial and was like “WHY DON’T I HAVE THIS” she is fair like me so i figured it was worthy of a gamble and it is now one of my favorites as well.
Absoltely love this video I love shopping my stash and pulling out the bangers from the last few years, the CT palettes are epic and I wish she'd continue releasing them 🔥
Just picked up the PM Divine Rose blush and the small blue/green/gold PM Star Wars quint at the reseller... $15 each!!!! They had a bunch of her lipsticks too in 3 different formulas. Stunned!! I picked up the hot pink mothership too about 3 weeks ago in the clearance aisle for $29. WOW
Try mixing the La Mer Hydrating Illuminator with the La Mer foundation and you will get the perfect foundation. I'm 68 and it makes my skin look fantastic. I wear La Mer Skin Tint with a little Chanel Les Beiges Water Tint on top for most days when I'm just running errands. It's so natural, but better. I'm in Florida and on holiday and just got the new Les Beiges Winter Glow primer in Icy Beige. I'm wearing it over my Elta MD UV Restore Broad Spectrum SPF 40 tinted sunscreen. So far, it's great. Sometimes you find a new love in an old product. When I'm at home, I recently started mixing the Chantecaille rose tint with a drop of the bronze tint over the Elta MD. The downside for those tints is they're too bulky for travel. I won't be repurchasing them.
That's right. The *HOURGLASS Smoke* shadow is THE most beautiful taupe. The sheen is just enough to be noticed - even on OLIVE skin and nothing really 'pops' on olive green - plus the micro-glitters stay put all evening. It's so subtle that you can't even call it 'gillter' but there is the most wonderful shine to these Scattered Light ones. STUNNING.. ♡♡♡ MERRY CHRISTMAS! xx..
Nothing wrong with your memory, darling, you just have so much makeup to try and review for me and everyone else who watches your channel. I bought the Hourglass Veil Tint on your recommendation and got it when you said the 20% was going to happen. ❤❤ I love it 😀 😍
I have Hourglass blush in Europhic Fusion bc of you. I also own 2 of the scattered light eyeshadow pots...Smoke and Rapture. ❤ them paired with Victoria Beckham kajal eye liners.
Love Dior Rouge lipstick 💄, Sydney looks nice ...I have a couple their colors . However they changed the colors last year where some no longer exist . Dior has many nice lip products...Guerlain is awesome 👍❤too😢

Hi, could you please let me know if the CT oyster pearl & the dark pearl pencil are the same color? And if yes, what is the difference when applied? Thank u!
@@r17l hi ! no they are not the same at all. dark pearl is darker & the closest shade i am able to match it to is the LM caviar eye stick in amethyst. oyster pearl is closest to the dior single in beige mitzah. as to the CT formulas in general, the cream shadows in pots are beautifully soft, airy & mousse like whereas the pencils are creamy but firmer. all are lovely 😊

Dear Charlotte, Happy new coming year! Happy holidays to you and your family 🎄💫 Thank you for sharing your videos and your wonderful sense of humor with us 🥰
I never tried anything from La Mer as they are so crazy expensive. I love the Roller Lash Benefit mascara, I got their xmas trio mascara back which had roller lash, bad gal bang and they're real magnetic in the jan sales last year and loved it. Benefit mascaras have been my favourite for years

Hourglass scatter lights are gorgeous. I have some for years that are still good. Smoke and vivid are my favs. Vivid is a beautiful olive shade.
Charlotte, you should do a video of all your favorite makeup . No matter when it came out. But just your favorite of all the past years . Love the pink sweater.
The mood exposure blush and the scattered lights shadow are my favorites! Also, the Hourglass veil powder is an oldie but a goodie!
A lot of people in the US call their underwear drawers. Boy did my brows raise when you said "worked their way into my drawers".
lol-same!! I’m here in the south, and that’s how we always refer to underwear! 😂
I still love Clinique’s Black Honey Almost Lipstick, especially in the fall and winter. I still reach for and appreciate my UD eyeliners and MAC lipliners too. UD Space Cowboy is also still a staple in my collection. All great and older products. ❤
Hourglass scattered light shadow in the olive green shade ( called vivid I think ) is just gorgeous!
I love mood exposure one of my go to blushes!!!
I have smoke and Ray - I love them both from Hourglass!

Hi Charlotte, great beauty video. 😊 I still love Sisley phyto tent ultra Eclat foundation. It gives a bluring, light from within finish.❤

“Utter belters” already in the collection: yes, yes, and yes!

I want you to try Ray in the Hourglass shadows I predict it gazzumps Smoke. I think you’ll love it!
I have Aura in the Hourglass scattered light, it's the prettiest shade of pink, not too much, just beautiful on 40 yo eyes
I thought the HG scattered light reflect shade was a dupe for CT rose gold hypnotizing pop shot. I love the HG reflect shade. It is very shimmery.

I notice Charlotte didn't come out with a long eyeshadow palette this year. Those were her best ones! I have three.
Loved the pillow talk 12 pan
I use the blush in my hourglass pallet.
It’s fun to appreciate the old as we go into a new year. ❤🎉
