I just bought this very car from the gentleman who bought it from this dealer. It's a sweetheart! Always loved the shoebox coupes and I'm glad I found a clean example!
Glad for you, my friend!!! She sure is a BEAUTY! My grandfather had a yellow '49 Ford and it was cool to this farm kid!!! ;o)
My dad Herb had one of these, a black one. He bought it new when he got out of the army after ww2. The auto trans went out, so he converted it to a stick shift. I was born in 1954 and this was our family car, up to about 1962. We also had a '55 Ford station wagon, 3 speed stick with overdrive, that in 1957, was wrecked in front, and Herb bought parts from the junkyard and rebuilt it. He was always tinkering with cars.
The OG Taurus/ Fusion of its time!
Liked this car ever since seeing it in "Thunder Road"
Nice ride car
i learned how to drive in one of those lol. my dad bought one right off the line for 950 bucks.
G. F. Krist ! I'd buy this car for 22Gs. I'm a cheapskate, and it would take a toll on me, but I'd buy it. Wow what a beautiful car !
How do I buy one of these beauties, instead of having to hear about them being up for sale sometime in the past?

I WISHD ID HAD 3 OF THESE 2 RED ONES AND 1 YELLOW

My first car at 15 yoa was a duplicate of this but it was black. Paid $250 and drove for almost 6 years before I sold when I joined the Army. Lots of great memories in this car and would love to have another.
No sir, I own it now and I love it!
