- Hi guys!
Today I am taking you through the day of Transport Manager CPC Exams
I am explaining how the day of exams looks, what marks are needed and how I felt during and after the exam
This was conducted by OCR on the 12th March 2021
The CPC stands for Certificate of Professional Competence
To become an OCR CPC qualified Transport Manager one is required to sit and pass two examinations.
R1 (P1)- Multiple-choice question paper (around 70% is a pass mark), and
R2 (P2) Case study question paper (around 50% is a pass mark)
Both papers have a maximum of 60 points available.
I really hope I do pass, however, if I do not, I can resist in next sitting in June 2021 however if I do not pass in that sitting then the last opportunity I will ever have to sit the exam with the OCR is on September 2021 and December 2021 as OCR is withdrawing it's CPC qualifications

Your energy is incredible!! Work, family , exams.
Thank you. It takes a lot of energy it’s true but that’s just how I live- always on the go! Thank you 🙏
I sat on the same exams but in Essex on March 2021 which I also passed both exams first time. I have accounting background too (I finished accounting technician) which made it more easier to pass R1. Congrats to you 🎉
Wow amazing well don you too! These are not easiest exams so we both did a good job passing it first time ! Are you now working as TM or Accountant
Hi @@AgnesMann thank you. I am currently working as AUTOCAD technician in arboricultural, ecological and landscape industry but 18 months up to 2 months ago i was working in the crane industry, i was gonna be their transport manager as we temporarily have ETM but I got overwhelmed with work as im doing other roles too. Now im back to being a Cad Tech working from home full time and I will be an ETM in Feb. Its really nice to have more options.
Mine is tomorrow. Pray for me!
You'll be fine! Let me know when you get your results!
All the best for future
Wishes from Hyderabad
thank you and greetings from the UK
Hmmm oh dear, I have a feeling you will pass. What happened to the multiple choice - did you pass that one.
Thanks for having faith in me lol. I shall find out on the 24th of April, all paper based results are published then.
How did you get on? Results day today!
Haven’t yet received the results! I’m so anxious. Will be filming my results and reaction so stay tuned! Thanks for asking btw
Goodluck! I'm sure you have done well.
The video is up if you would like to see the answer to your question. Thanks for asking again
Hi dear, i would like to take my cpc transport manager too, but your point of view was is difficult???
Yes, I am not going to lie, despite having and accounting qualifications, the exams were very challenging and a lot is asked. The scope is so wide that it almost seems impossible to be able to learn and understand everything ans as much as the case study exam allows you to have the books, the other one (multiple choice) is very very challenging and it asks for such details that is just hard to remember (and you need to have 70% of it correct). So it is doable I guess, and can be resit, but it is hard in my opinion. thank you for watching. I will be creating a video on the scope etc for CPC students
@@AgnesMann thanks first, I asked,,, do you have something about the course , maybe I could bay it ( book, photocopy etc...??
@@calixmilk I have some slides printouts which on its own is not sufficient as it only has short bullets. I went through a training in class hence did not buy any books as slides were provided but no books were given. Sorry
@@constantin2387 I did my training in the class with a company called Haulage Institute
they have still available class room study or only online?
I believe both are Available but that would depend on the school you are taking the course from
how many weeks you study before your exam??
I studied for 8 weeks
DId you pass now then? I'm due to take my PCV CPC in like 2 months.
Yes I did pass both and have a video on it as well ua-cam.com/video/IT32c7FhIk4/v-deo.html good luck
I am so happy for you Agnes. Well done!!! Seriously well done. I know how hard those exams are. I've taken them twice. This would be my third time.
@@castletransport thank you so much. I agree they are very challenging and I honestly had no idea if I’d pass. You’ll pass this time- third time lucky!
@@AgnesMann Thanks. I'm passenger btw. Bus driver
@@castletransport ok, still the exams are not much different in terms of difficulty level. Good luck and let me know in 3 months when you get your pass results!
