Love these vans!!!! I just bought 3 months ago a 2006 dodge grand caravan SXT for $4,500, had only 122k miles!!!!! I love her to death, I named her silver bullet. She is so dam comfy and dam reliable. It’s got the 3.8 as well
@@MNMoparMinivan , Agree. The seats are so comfortable. Never understood the SUV craze. If I want a truck. I'll get a pick up! More versatile than an suv.
I had a 1996 extended wheel base grand caravan. It lasted up to allmost 400 thousand miles before it was totaled while parked downtown one weekend. Now I own 7 Dodge Neons
I loved my neon! I got 250,000 mi out of her! I had it for 11 years it never left me stranded! I miss it! I just picked up a 2006 Chrysler Town and country limited!
Nice van. ! Maybe a little to nice! Crazy idea that one point a chevrolet sales man talking very good and positive about a Dodge product so people will buy it from them 😂
Sad to see such a rust free van there but at least there is some good parts ripe for picking! Probably bad motor or trans, Can't see any other reason for it to be there. I never liked the plastic paneling on cars because like you said they trap water and dirt then cause rust. Anyway good video!
In all of these junkyard videos you post, it seems there’s always an Buick LeSabre next to the vans. How do junkyards determine where vehicles are put? Because it doesn’t seem to be alphabetical
@@MNMoparMinivan Interesting. The few junkyards I’ve visited are typically sorted also by their brand (GM, FoMoCo, Chrysler products) so if you’re looking for Caravan parts you won’t be seeing any GM sedans
@seanguy9720 yeah a lot of yards are like that. But this place intakes so much of everything that would be difficult. Easier to be "domestic here, Import there, big truck over there" in their case.
Makes you wonder why this 3rd gen was junked. Bet it was the tranny. Those 3.8 motors were tough work horses. Sad this 98 ended up in the salvage yard was in decent shape & no rust bucket.
@@MNMoparMinivan , I know. For those of us who like these 3rd gens to find one that clean & not rusty, to get it before it hits the salvage yard. Even if it needs a trans replacement or rebuild. It beats anything new these days. Liked how equipped it was.

Awe, an LE I had a model from KB Toys it was the exact match to this van! I always love the LE's the seats were always plusher!

This would be a good van to put back on the road. Shocked to see one with no rust
Our Virginia Town And County in Utah had no rust. We took great and good care of it. It was from 2008

That paint even looks like it might still come back. Shame, but maybe something went wrong who knows.
