The checkerboard look would make such a cute baby boy blanket! I haven't made a C2C in 5+ years because I got bored with them but I am going to have to make one for a baby boy. I'll border it in a half-double crochet stitch of black, red and white and do some star appliques to sew in two of the corners. Will be so cute! Thank you so much!
