Do you struggle with clients who are disregarding of session time? How do you successfully wind down and close out a session with a client who does not achieve self regulation at the end? I’ve also heard stories of clients bringing up a new issue or having an emotional breakdown 5 min before the session ends. How do you navigate this?

All great questions, I have struggled with this in the past but it’s so important to have boundaries and respect your own boundaries as a therapist or situations like the ones you mentioned can easily happen. I’ve noted these questions for a future video

What specific app, program, etc do you use for e-transfers?

In Canada you can just transfer through your bank. We don’t need a third party app. Just an email and the amount.

What’s up with the conspicuous consumption? Sorta flex-y. Look at that ring! Look at that belt! Damn she’s living that American Dream$$$$. I wonder what her hourly rate is. She probably pulls well over 120k /year just guessing, before any UA-cam income. And what does her husband do? I do enjoy helping raise awareness that therapist is a high paying profession for those in private practice. But I will always feel that our consumeristic capitalist society engenders a toxic money mentality. We don’t have to buy more “stuff” in order to be happier or more “worthy”
