I'm gonna go ahead and call this what it is: one of the best performances by a band ever
yup
Hands down, one of the best live performances I have ever seen
Would give my left kidney to see you perform live again, I don’t need both of them okay
This performance was amazing!
- The piano wrestling
- The standing drum crowd surf
- The drum thruple
My god
Casually strolled into a video of one of the best live performances ever. Ok then.
Lol same. Had no idea what I was getting in to
So grateful to have seen them three times. Wish it could've been more. Such a great band.
You know that somebody is really fucking talented when they can just plant their hands and face on the keyboard and still make it sound awesome.
2022 and still my biggest regret is not being able to watch them live...
Dude, I knowwww can they please do a reunion tour if pay like hundreds to see them
Your regret is very appropriate
I wish the number of times I watched this actually contributed to the number of views.
Why they are underrated? They need to be a valorated legends.
I just discovered MuteMath last week. Ive had this album on repeat and im in love with it. My only regret is not discovering them sooner
Oh you'll have one hell of a ride. And you won't ever forget
I saw this video the first time many years ago, and this is still the craziest, best live performance of any band ever.
playing like it was the last show of their lifes!!!!!!!! love it!!!!!!!!!
+TiagoSalsinhaDrumLog trueeeeeee
They always did... miss these guys so much
Man, if there is one moment I could re-live before dying it would be when I saw this performance at virgin fest in Toronto. It was the first time I heard of this band. This song blew my mind!
This feels like a 9 minute concert in the most perfect way.
Darren King = one of the worlds best drummers
Definitely!
Wise woman
Nope, you're wrong. Best, as used by you in this narrative is subjective. Certainly he's a good drummer but he thrashes around a lot, looks busy and makes a lot of noise but he has limited range and subtlety isn't a part of what he does. I could name many drummers who are far far better.

@@Mariooo57 i couldn't possibly love your response more than i do!
One of the most underrated bands out there. I'm still surprised at how great a video this can be with only 50K views.
WHAT!?!?! I finally pay attention to the video just to experience the most batshit insane live song ever
Wow. wow wow. These guys fire me up - this song is amazing. They tear it up - so glad I was able to enjoy them in person last month. See a MuteMath concert - it will change your life.
Absolutely mental! I almost forgot how WILD these guys were! No one does it like MM. Boy how I miss them 😭
now that is a show.
WOW! That's the most awesome show I've ever seen!!!
This band deserves all the love in the WORLD 🤟🏿
never get sick of this video. i have their live DVDs and have seen them live twice... such a great band
+Mickey Valenz yes, best performace ever!
One of the most incredible performances I’ve ever seen and I wasn’t even there 😂
I watch this video a lot. I’ve seen them at least 10x. I saw them a SXSW when there was like 50 people there and they put on the same show. Saw them at the indoor stage at Emo’s in Austin and Darren was like scaling the wall doing the song. Every performance is a little different but incredible every time. Love these guy. Extremely underrated band.
So very sad to hear of Darren's departure this week. No drummer has left a greater impression on me in the past 3 decades. Whatever comes next, Darren, we wish you the absolute best ...
One of the greatest rock tracks of this century. Or any other.
missed for sure. the drummer(hutch) they used on the latest tour is most excellent. original drummer for Earth Suit and both paul and roy were in that band as well. he has great chops as well. dareen is off the charts for sure BUT he did use a lot of triggers to get some of the sounds you hear.
Man, I love how they can casually and so fluidly switch instruments and it sounds so seamless
one of the best Mutemath songs
Definitely. This one and "Its OK" are my top 2.
Drakkarsh I agree 1000%
Agreed.
I wish they could reunite
Still amazing
I play this track before I write or mix my own music. Its the BIGGEST motivator.
great idea!.
I'm so sad that it's only Paul now... I would have LOVED to see the band as a four piece. 😭
TheDuffyMSGR64 I know it hurts my heart
It will NEVER not hurt that it's over.
Here in 2021 saying the same 😥 I saw every single show in and around DC since when they were opening up for Switchfoot. There will never be another band like them ever 😔
fortunately this was my first concert back on the flesh and bones/self titlted tour. that show still has an impression on me as a music fanatic and musician.
I discovered this bloody masterpiece from another masterpiece --- suits!
saw these guys 12 years ago in Nashville. Best concert I've ever seen!! such entertainment!! Reset live is just insane!!!
If anyone is searching for a good act to watch live, definitely go experience Mutemath!! You won't regret it! Friendly Fires is equally as great live.
Darren, Paul, Roy, and Greg. What a fuckin sick combination. I miss it, but life goes on.
Greg is my cousin. He can play anything you put in front of him. His brother too.
So much right in one video
whoa! I only discovered this band tonight.. bloody fantastic!!
lol well that original comment was 7 months ago now, and I have just spent another 2 hours on the exact same playlist. Still sounding fresh!
Beyond talent. I can never get enough of this band love it!!
I saw them in concert three times. Each one was unique and simply awesome. One of the best bands ever.
Furthermore, they are great guys in person!
The best band, the best vocal, best drummer 🙌🏼
Wouldve been awesome to hear them here. The Tabernacle is a hell of a venue
Just outstanding. Wow.
Still so good.
Watching these guys live was epic!! One of my favorite bands!!!!
One of the greatest bands
Can’t wait to see them reunited one day!
LOL. I enjoyed and didn't notice that this is a 10 minute video.
incredible band, they put on such a good show
another sick bass line along with everything else that's going on here!!.
the biggest sadness of my life I will never have the chance to see that again Darren King love you man
Wow what a summer salt to hit the cymbal plus playin the keyboard
just plain stupid sick!!.
Apparently three people were drunk when deciding between thumbs up or thumbs down. It's cool the other thousand got it right.
Incredible vid. Amazing how these guys are able to sustain such high intensity night in and night out.
That bloody outro!
Legendary.
The band played like tight unit of all talent multi instrument players
The last song I remember hearing from these guys was Peculiar People, and I loved it. Good to see they came back from hiatus just as strong as they were.
how do they not have 50,000,000 subscribers?!?!?!?
Because they don't have a lot of fans?
great question!!.
a select group of fans for sure.
yup, red and yellow black and white, we ALL break the same!!!, and yet we are precious in His sight. thank you Jesus for being broken for us!!
This song takes me places. Good places.
Awesome use of the DE-7 pedal during the percussion segment !
This is GOLD!
The world does'nt deserve them
Saw them four times. Three in Austin, once in SF. I've been going to concerts since the early 70's and I'll put them right up there with any band I've seen live, including the transcendent version of U2 in 1980, their first US tour and the Clash, 1979, second US live date in Berkeley.
laughed so hard while reading your comment ;)
oh my gosh! That's a-m-a-z-i-n-g ! Just.., amazing. Wow!
Wow I miss performing :(
This is the best song performance I have ever seen! Can you please come to Europe? It doesn't really matter where. You just say and I'll be there =) Thank you for your work!
SUCH ENERGY
awesome!!!
What a band!! Killer!!!!
How I truly and deeply wish I was there but unfortunately I live all the way in the UK and they don't ever come tour round here :| but if they did I would be first inline to buy those tickets lol
Fun Fact: This is the same venue as Bill Burr's "I'm Sorry You Feel That Way," and Joe Rogan's "Live From The Tabernacle"
This song!!!!!! Yes, yes and more yes!!
just warming up for Sunday night in Sydney
Soooo goood
Not too good ....superb superb ...it blowed mind wow wow 😳
only 5800 visualizations? what's happening with the people? mental problems?
Now it’s at 215,816 visualizations
Nice sound and vocals
I think they really would like to come to the UK, but they need a bigger fan base. Call and request them played at your radio stations.
I am a fan of the drummer
2020, still here
beauty!!!
fantastic!!!
The whole band is great but Darren King really kills it the most!
They're too damn good man, AND they give Glory to the King of Kings Most High Almighty FATHER? Amazing.
agree 100%. some players ARE just too good. seen them several times. over the top!!!. they never really made it in the Christian music MARKET because they did not like the box they were put in by the label. by their choice they dumped the label. just as well for them and us!!.
True, but don't sleep on the bassist. Very special stuff coming from him.
2021 activo
@MacJARedd YES! As long as they would just come to Europe, I'd go to see them. How come they haven't been to Europe since 2006...?
Men, det beste hadde så klart vært om de kommer til Norge!
This is so awesome. What I would give to see them live. O please come to Europe! Edit: Yay, they came! :)
Fucking amazing.
why did he knock the drum set over at the end? it served him so well!?
Dang, what synth does he use? That thing's indestructible!
Pretty sure they'd sell out Red Rocks for a few nights easily. I'm buying like 20 tickets if they come back.
Come to Europe NAO! just.. Come.
When did this hit 33k hits/views
Mutescience
fuck yeah!
2022, anyone?
