Excellent footage in the low visibility conditions looks like it was coming down big time! Not a bad collection of aircraft either the Eva Air and Fiji B737 were nice catches! Water spray always adds some great effects to the video, awesome filming in the conditions and with the amount of poles in the foreground! Liked
Thanks mate! Sure was coming down strong. The late morning line up at Brisbane is real decent with Fiji and Eva! The poles are a pain as always but T4 is still worse!
Amazing compilation!! Brisbane is pretty lucky at their domestic carpark with the top level being sheltered, unlike Melbourne or Sydney!! Some great aircraft featured!! Loved the Cathay A330, the dual A350's and the EVA air which I missed out on when I was there :( ! Massive like!
Thanks mate! Agreed, the cover it provides is great. Melbourne and Sydney you're able to go a level down which is undercover though. The traffic was pretty great, the EVA A330 was by far the highlight though!
Yeah it's been great to have the opportunity to visit some other airports, love the change of scenery more then anything else. Glad to hear Casey, cheers mate!
Great job! 👍The landing of China Southern A330 is really smooth! Interesting to see that their brand new A330s are equipped with RR engine once again in place of PW, hope they can be sent to SYD and MEL, I really like their free WiFi onboard
Impressive to see pilots negotiating such adverse conditions at landing with such aplomb. To those of us in the great white North, aka Canada, I was pleased to witness several Bombardier Q400 and one, still active, DC9 / MD80, if only for a brief couple of seconds on takeoff. The latter type, now sadly out of production, owes every set of wings to the former McDonnell Douglas plant in Toronto. Thanks... PS. Really appreciate the caption for each acft. w. flight number and routing. Please consider adding acft. type.
Yeah, couldn't resist checking out some of the traffic and spots they get. Thought about it but it won't work since I'll be getting some footage from the U.S soon.
Yea haha, need a change of scenery from Melbourne! Planning on getting some footage over in the US in a couple of months, hopefully its worth the wait!
HD Melbourne Aviation you make the plane spotting videos ever. They are so entertaining for me. I love watch planes land and take off. It makes me so happy. So thank you for your videos.
OMG!!!! Talk about down pouring of rain..... Yikes! I will assume you were standing in the sheltered portion of a car park while filming? See rain like that only on rare occasions at LAX. Thought I heard a clap of thunder at one point. Or what that just the wind? Nice work. Thanks for braving the elements to bring us another sterling example of your work. Liked the Sun highlights on the fuselage in some portions. Seems like there might have been a thin spot in the overcast. Cheers....
It was crazy weather and yeah I was standing undercover. The camera would have been damaged by the rain if I wasn't haha. That would have been the wind, from memory it was only raining. Yeah haha, LA is known for its great weather. Thanks Tony, always worth braving these conditions!
You can see the reverse thrust kicking up the rain in this video. Daft question , but how did you keep dry. Great filming again. Best wishes from Adrian in Sheffield England 😀😸
Yeah you sure can! Depends on the situation. Usually I fold out the boot door on my car which provides shelter but in this case the carpark which I was spotting at was under cover
Colorado high greetings again! Some amazing thrust reverser action beFORE nose touches down. I love it. Why do so many Qantas craft not have internet yet? I'm guessing it's become quite the revenue source...
Yeah haha they sure do look to chuck on the thrusters pretty quickly sometimes! They're slowly getting the fleet up to date with it, so far they're still trying to add it to all their 737s before beginning the rest of the aircraft in the fleet
Hey man, yep got the landing and the takeoff, although the takeoff came out a bit dodgy because it decided to use 27 and there's bugger all spots for it when the suns out :/

Just Brilliant, a real pleasure to watch the skill set of these pilots. Great Footage.
Excellent spotting video! Wet runways make for super cool footage! Love the Eva Air A330! Liked!
Thanks mate! Absolutely they do! The EVA A330 was a huge highlight, first time seeing it for me

With Melbourne though, you get more of the terminal building in the way, not sure about Sydney
Nice to see you visiting other Australian airports, this channel really has some good variety!
Yeah it's been great to have the opportunity to visit some other airports, love the change of scenery more then anything else. Glad to hear Casey, cheers mate!

Yeah the reserve thrusters on a wet runway provide some awesome effects!
BAD AWFUL WEATHER! Brilliant job! Well done mate! Noice filming 2! Liked for sure

That was humid! :) Nice video !
Nice to see all AIRBUS aircraft's
Hahaha yeah the late mornings at Brisbane are dominated by airbus aircraft
I don't mind a rainy day of plane spotting. Great video
Me neither, the water provides some great effects!

Thank you very much! Yeah its very interesting to see, I think its because RR are cheaper then the pratts on the A330.
Nice Spotting in such weather!
Thanks mate!

Been back for nearly a week, just have a bunch of Brisbane footage that's worth uploading
HEY I WAS ON THE CHINA SOUTHERN!!!!!!!! 😮
Awesome!

What won't plane spotters put up with for a day at the airfield? Nice video.
Hahahaha that's a fair question! Thanks mate!
But I was the first to like lol, great vid mate, hope you didn't get to wet.
Hahaha cheers mate! Luckily the carpark has a roof so the camera and I remained dry
Hey Matty,
Are you going to catch the DHL 757 at Melbourne Airport Today?
Landing Runway 16,
Cheers,
Hey man, yep got the landing and the takeoff, although the takeoff came out a bit dodgy because it decided to use 27 and there's bugger all spots for it when the suns out :/
Was this filmed in 2018?
is this heavy rain ?
Niccccccccceeeeeeeeeee Mattttttttttttyyyyyyyyyy
Thaaaaaaaaaaaanks Jaaaaaaaaaaaamieeeeeee
HD Melbourne Aviation Lmao!!
What lens are you using?
Built in lens of the Panasonic VXF995
HD Melbourne Aviation is it enough to use 250mm lens in domestic car park level9??
China was a bit hard
