The Pagani Design PD-1682 V2 - Rolex Explorer 2 Homage - 6 Months Later...

- 6 months on, I wanted to give you an update on this watch from Pagani Design. This Automatic GMT is the V2 version with the orange syringe GMT hand.
I have been really impressed with this watch, the 316L stainless steel case is finished exceptionally well & accuracy of the watch isn't too bad either at around 10 seconds per day.
I appreciate that homages can be a contentious topic, But, for those on a budget or seeking the "Rolex look" without the expense, models such as this, really do hit the mark.
At around $100 AUD, you get a 316L steel case, A bracelet with screwed-in links, solid end-links, a milled clasp, sapphire crystal & 100m water resistance. Let's not also forget the exhibition case-back & that Pearl DG-5833 Automatic GMT movement.
I can honestly say that I would recommend this watch after 6 months experience with it.

I've been really considering getting this but after trying out another 42mm diameter/50mm lug to lug watch, my wrist is just too small. Glad to see the movement is still good after 6 months!
Great review. Excellent bang for Buck. I get the quality control and materials used in a Explorer but it Really does make you question the prices Rolex charge.
You don't pay only for the quality with a brand like Rolex.
I bought one of these instead of fixing my Explorer II
I just purchased one of these. I don't really need to keep track of a second time zone, but it has everything I was looking for and then some, also I got it on sale so I couldn't pass it up.

That is some beautiful camera work you did there. Bolger produced a 36mm of this same watch. I have yet to view videos of it. Would you consider doing one? Thank you. Bolger is suppose to read Bliger.

I’ve had one about two years…great watch especially considering the price. The lume is no great shakes, but I don’t care.

Many thanks for the video I've not really had a good look at this particular Chinese brand but I guess for around a hundred quid you can't go too wrong. Good accuracy considering the price also.

I got all excited about this watch and bought the V2. It worked four days and then quit. Was pretty sad.
Have you spoken to the seller? They should sort you out! For what it's worth, mine is going well...

40mm is much better. I've never considered the 42mm with a 7.25 inch wrist. but do they copy other brands by putting female end links? male end link are part of the dna of the oyster case and bracelet. do they give the possibility to buy the watch with this kind of bracelet or should we buy the parnis 40mm instead?
