Holy mother
Receive our hearts in your arms
And let our souls pass
The day the rain returns again
Holy mother
Receive our hearts in your arms
And let our souls pass
The day the rain returns again
We pass down our wisdom
After sunshine comes thunder
The longer the drought
The heavier the clouds
Collecting water in glass
Counting the days against the crops that last
A dwarf shoot yawns at the sky
Daring a stratonimbus in the vicinity to spit on it
When Earth is submerging
And heaven is open
The river will carry all of us to
Where we belong
But then a shadow is cast
Over the fields a shower first
Then a torrent crashes down
Releasing the jungle swelling in the ground
And as was foretold our time is out
Holy mother
Receive our hearts in your arms
And let our souls pass
The day the rain returns again
Holy mother
Receive our hearts in your arms
And let our souls pass
The day the rain returns again
Holy mother
Receive our hearts in your arms
And let our souls pass
The day the rain returns again
Holy mother
Receive our hearts in your arms
And let our souls pass
The day the rain returns again
We pass down our wisdom
After sunshine comes thunder
The longer the drought
The heavier the clouds
When Earth is submerging
And heaven is open
The river will carry all of us to
Where we belong
And no-one shall be left over
(Where we belong)
For the river’s too strong
(Where we belong)
I trust mother to know
(Where we belong)
So watch the raindrops
We have entered phase 4 of KKB... "Bonito Apocalypse"
then comes "bonito singularity" where it's _supposed_ to be a bunch of different songs about how robots took over the *_inferior_** humans* but it ends up being a bunch of noises put together into one song (because it's a singularity, remember) with no human voice

Bonito Generation: Growing up and entering early adulthood optimistically
Time n Place: Dealing with a quarter-life crisis
Civ I: Becoming an environmental activist
The next album: futuristic techno about robots
Will always love that first album
Oh my god KKB is Bjork
Intro Bonito: what
@@jack8407 the album after that will be about the apocalypse
“I don’t know you, but that sounds fresh!”

mom I'm crying in the club at 2am come pick me up
Okay son
oof
i just babie
The synth solos are up there with some of the best I've ever heard. Just massive.
Absolutely, who in their right mind ends a solo so 'horribly' at 3:26, god damn those boys are genius's. I've always wanted more huge synth solos ever since that solo in Intro Bonito
Heavy prog vibes
I totally agree.. The transition from relative silence into the second synth solo actually brings me to tears. I don't know if that's ever happened for me from a synth solo before lol. It really does such a great job of slamming the lyrical impact just before that solo into your face.
The EP artwork is by Sarah btw
Nawk thanks! The art is so good!
DAMMNNN dope
yea her arts awesome have u seen her art instagram?
@@dancingmalware8979 no, where can i find it tho?

Came back after listening to “Well Rested”. Civilisation has been a wild ride guys.🤯🤯
bro listening to this, I straight up a s c e n d e d
this song a bop
why is that so accurate
Do it high now. Thanks me later
Max Lap
i fell in love with kkb while high lmao
One of the best songs I've ever heard, this sounds straight out of FFVII and Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind (which I believed inspired the Final Fantasy series to being with). This is one of KKB's most profund and emotional songs, the beat is beautiful and Sarah's lyrics got me crying here (and I think I'm a cynical dude), we gotta preserve this planet.
So much imagery from Nausicaa its unreal
This song badly needs some kind of crazy epic high-budget beautifully animated music video that ends with all the characters drowning in a flood. There are so many moments where you can just imagine the story unfolding.
U kinda got your wish for the new civ II songs !
Sounds like something you'd hear in the final area of a video game.
Emy Yorkie reminds me of sonic
Final boss of outside: Climate Change
this gives me slight pokemon vibes
It reminds me of the underground theme in Mario 64
Could see this in a game like abzu that focuses on walking and discovering things along the way
New ep coming fellas we eating good

NEW EP LETS GO
I'm glad the japanese is slowly returning into their songs
:)
tbh, the theme Time 'n' Place was going for is better off without japanese lyrics. this new stuff appears to be ancient/mystical sounding and I really enjoy the japanese in these songs so far.
@@yamato.takeru.no.mikoto yes it's like ancient technological music inspired.
The plight of the tribal poor in the modern day told in the form of a tribal myth... I love how beautiful this is.
Insane to see KKB continue to evolve in composition, melody and transitions. This is some of the strangest pop in ages. Prog metal, breakbeat, chiptune RPG and tech metal vibes.
this song sounds like it's on it's tippy toes
"and civilisation marches on"
Those synth solos are so damn good, they give me chills every time i hear them.
Kkb back with japanese lines omg "international tanoshi sound intensifies"
Dude lol I've heard this song so many times but never heard the japanese. Just noticed and came here to see if someone else noticed, because I've tried looking the lyrics up and they only show the english lyrics.
I'm also so happy of that, as much as I loved Time N Place I really hoped they'd come back with english/japanese lyrics because it's just a perfect mixture.
hello fellow indonesian
This song stopped me in my tracks. Their willingness to experiment demands the utmost respect. They are fearless.
The best song in the Civilisation series.
why no one is talking about this song? It's P E R F E C T !! please, let's give Kero Kero Bonito more views and visibility 💛💫

can you give us a loose translation? we'd really appreciate it :)
@@jennywithaglock3916 yes please!! a translation would be lovely
@@jennywithaglock3916 "The red moon has risen and illuminates from the other side of the deep forest, playing (an instrument) from the end to the beginning." is roughly how I understood I'm sorry if it's not 100% accurate I did my best lol

所ジョージだ!
the part with the chanting sounds like the forest temple in OOT

This got better after not listening to it for a while.
Righttttt I found battle lines and went down the album and this one didn't stand out to me, but listening to this half a year later it's a nuts song.
ugh they did that - i can't even - we stan
This is the kind of music that would sound great on a massive sound system!
Wow I really love this new direction it’s so intricate
YES, JAPANESE LYRICS, OMFG
The backing vocals really do add to the SLAPP factor of this track
I love how it messes around with the left/right audio channels n_n
Tfw only your left earbud works
Tfw when only your right ear works and you have to listen to everything in mono
Ah yes, a new, _refreshing_ song.
This is by far their best song. Sarah's vocals on KKB are really underrated.
Civilization has been so damn good.
Kkb does it right every time.
These synth solos are incredible. Thank
Holy shit, I love this. I got into Kero because of the sound of Time and Place, very old style British Pop XTC feel, but this is actually more into the electronic music I usually like. I like a handful of songs from their original style, so I feel for fans who really liked that stuff and it's just been abandoned, but I don't know I think it is totally worth it for this evolution!
You can't just drop tracks so good and different that you might become my actual favourite band, it's not fair.
LOVING this new sound, chef’s kiss
When it’s 3 AM and you have work in the morning but Kero drops a new track
bruh these synth and drum progression/patterns are killlinnngggg meeeee it’s FUCKING AMAZING
i like how the new songs have been v ethereal. wow its beautiful
This is like what everyone wanted their production to be in the 90s, but waaaaaaaay better
The fact that this has been up for like half an hour and less than a billion people have seen it is a travesty.
its still too damn low after a day
Lol it's been almost 1 year and it's only 100k+. Yeah it's kinda annoying but KKB have never been mainstream yet they always make masterpieces.
They need to be mainstream tho
Definitely getting some Tears For Fears' Start of the Breakdown vibes from this. Makes me feel right at home.
I think this is my new favorite KKB song
But I'm still not done leaving your last song on replay
Boy, now were in ROTATION =)
japanese lines in kkb songs are BACK
I so loved music
Thanks, KKB! You keep on getting better on your every project. I love you!
This song is so relaxing...
KKB has been on repeat in my head for about a month now (I've only discovered them recently)
And I'm loving this new release.
Keep going KKB
That’s some crunchy Synth!
