Ntombi!! I had to stop myself from overpouring and just doing too much in the name of showing appreciation to my parents. Everything you said is soo true and the peace of mind umntu abanayo when you're just helping and not physically carrying people on your back financially is freeing.

Don't pour from an empty cup 2. Don't start something you will not maintain 3. Lastly , people will be fine with or without you being there .. Life continues .
