Hi everyone! So as promised, I've uploaded the first episode of my work in progress, 321 Tours Singapore! I hope you guys enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed filming and being in my element again! ua-cam.com/video/BEOW-xI3row/v-deo.html
Adverse events happen in everyone’s life. But there’s a silver lining somewhere and taking it in stride to move on. It could also be a blessing in disguise in yrs to come when u look back. Stay positive. Chinese say 天无绝人之路! May God Bless ur future.
@@HumdrumSingaporeanREACTS Thank you for your kind words. Indeed it was a little tough putting to words my feelings and thoughts, but I'm glad I got through with it and now I feel fresh and ready to tackle the upcoming stuff!
So glad to hear many "thankful" in the video despite his layoff. For everyone whether employed or on career break: - Give your best work but never love your company, and treasure the relationships with close colleagues. - Save and grow your income abundantly while managing your expenses, hence make lifestyle choices wisely. Strike a balance between YOLO and FIRE. - Invest early and take reasonable risk to compound your savings. Make your money work hard for you. The world is extremely uncertain and job insecure. Don't let your guard down even during peaceful time.
Indeed! The timing of things caught me a little off guard, unfortunately as I had just dug into my savings to pay off some of the stuff for my house. But I'll be fine!
Have an ownership stake in the company so that whatever actions are taken in the company's best interest will indirectly be beneficial to your best interest as a shareholder even if not your best interest as an employee. Loyalty and not having layoffs means compromise. E.g. would all employees and management take a 20% salary cut in addition to shareholders taking less as well for no one getting laid off. If not, then people are cut so that the remaining people still get the same pieces of the pie.
@@moldenm5239 Just so you know... We lost our jobs because the company decided to pivot away from content creation to content curation. I don't think paycut would have done anything ;)
You must have intentions to do well. This is a perfect example of doing well without intentions, cannot last very long term. If you are keen to go long term, you should look at how you could contribute for the company long term. Rather than being another “being”
what do you think the most difficult issues or factors to prevent you find job within 5 years? you look in your 30's , it's very sad to see how you go through this as I have been laid off a few times. but this time it seems very difficult to land a role nowdays.
Hmmm that's a good question, but not one that I'm most capable of answering since I've yet to get back into job hunting. But, based on my previous experience of job hunting I'd say the most difficult part is always finding a good fit with the company culture. I might be delusional in believing that I am going to benefit any company that I join, but the company has to see if my personality and working habits fit into their current culture as well. Case in point, I've had a company go for someone else at the last interview stage because they thought that I was "too technical". Oh wells, I stand by my belief that the company needed some QC on their production standards anyways. Keep trying! I hope that you'll find a role that is a good fit for you!
hey, i am a new content creator that is about to start releasing content soon. Would you ever like to collaborate? We could wait until I start releasing videos but the content will be about food which I saw a few of your videos are about.
Thanks for taking a shot and trusting me to shoot for you guys 5 years back! Tremendously grateful for the opportunity and the fun times. Wish nothing but success for you bro 💪🏼💪🏼 Godspeed 🫶🏼

All the best Bruce! Pursue your passion and you're right, not many people can genuinely say they have great colleagues at work.
Thanks Kenny! It's unfortunate that many stick to the belief that you can't make friends out of your workplace.
All the best to you Bruce! I’ll definitely be supporting your channel!
Thank you so much Bryan =)
