Don't worry Logesh. You'll get thru it. Been thru it many times since 2016 with mortgage to pay, 2 kids in college (now) and 1 special need daughter. Had to accept any job offer even if the pay is not that good, to the extent of accepting pays that's only 1/3 of my previous. And 6 years later (now), still managed to provide for the family. So, hang tough. Stay positive and things will get better. I'm sure Rachel will always be by your side thru thick and thin. God bless.
Hang in there Bro! I feel for you. There will be better options if you keep looking. Simple bread earned the hard way tastes great! Prayers and Wishes!

HR cans you fast, and may even escort you outside to a waiting taxi. they do this so you don't have time to react, get emotional or put on any drama about it. saw it here a lot with people that have been with the company 10-20+ years. they just send an email or call for a budget meeting, or a working lunch. when you show up they say 'your services are no longer needed', and out the door you go. its normally all middle management, and maybe some directors, but rarely the employees that do the work that keeps the money coming in, and techs that keep networks up and running unless they actually did something bad. if it is a well liked director or head of a team, they my give them the opportunity to resign, so HR can send out an email of praises, but usually they just disappear without a peep. lucky where i work they usually land on their feet shortly after, and some hired by competitors to get all the secrets, procedures, and financial information on them.
Hey, here is what I would say, you got a life time opportunity by getting fired. Most of the times we never want to move out of the comfort zone untill something like this happens. I too have a passion and I used to tell my wife that eventhough the salary I draw is the main source of income, I would be happy if I get fired. It would open a wide variety of opportunities to stand on our own legs. I hate to ask permission / leave from a boss, for a personal reason, who doesn't have anything to do with our family. This is an opportunity. You should be thankful to those people who fired you in this manner, which lit the fire in you. Sometimes little unhappiness is also required for a big lifelong happiness. Good luck on your new venture 👍
Wait..... Teh Tarik.... that's not totally Indian..... it's only between Malaysia and Singapore. (Heh, yes, I just exposed myself as a total noobie in this channel). As it turns out, Mr Logesh Kumaar states outright that's he's from Malaysia. I am sooo happy that this family has made it big enough on UA-cam. I believe in you guys, go for it... be the content producers that you were always meant to be. Lots of love from your newly-minted fan from Singapore!
Don't worry, this happened to me a few years ago and I went through a hard time in my life before I turned things around, I do not regret one bit that I got out of a zero growth environment into one that is very much in demand now.
I have worked in a toxic environment and been a top performer. Hence, I thought I was doing something I love and was afraid to leave the job. Once I left the job, things are just getting better and better. I guess it was God's way to show me I should the best life He has planned for me. Wish you all the best!
Inflation has a greater impact on people's cost of living than a crashing stock or housing market, resulting in an immediate and tangible effect. This explains the current high level of negative market sentiment, and our need for assistance in surviving this challenging economy. The financial markets have underperformed due to fears of inflation, causing stock and bond prices to plummet. Despite sounding basic, consulting a financial advisor has enabled me to outperform the market and achieve a profit of $850,000 since June 2022, making it the ideal approach to enter the financial markets today.
Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, constructing a solid financial portfolio has become increasingly intricate. Therefore, I strongly advise anyone facing difficulties to consider seeking professional assistance. By doing so, you can access tailored strategies that specifically cater to your individual long-term goals and financial aspirations.
May I know the name of the financial advisor who has been helping you with your investments? If you're comfortable sharing, could you also guide me on how to contact them?
The financial advisor I work with is *STEPHANIE KOPP MEEKS* . I discovered her during a CNBC interview and contacted her thereafter. She has been guiding me by providing entry and exit points for the specific securities I focus on. If you're interested, you can search for her online to learn more about her expertise. I have been following her market strategies and have had no regrets thus far.

I am sorry for the cold treatment by your former company. I am happy to see you bounce back and hopefully, you and Rachel can weather the hard time together.
I got laid off in the same way as you, worked for 6 years. I told myself, they didn't deserve me anymore. I got 25 interviews after that, got two offers, and accelerated my career to become a manager in just 2 years. It sucked in the beginning but belief will move mountains! BELIEF!

I also got laid off end of August 2023. Even though I could I understand the reason, same as you, the delivery of the bad news was the one that hurt the most - no emotion, cold, no compassion. I've worked for this company for almost 15 years, and all of sudden I felt like a trash - an important part of my life all of sudden lost. I haven't made any attempt to apply for a new job and the reason is that I just want to take a rest and try to ask myself what do I really want to do, but I feel so guilty of not having any work, even though financially I'm not in a critical situation to find a job real soon, but also lose some motivation of trying to find one. I've been trying to make use of this "free time" to be more productive, but most of the time I'm failing. Hopefully a little bit little it will get better. At the same time, I just have to really let go my anger, as it's not doing me any favor. Good luck to you Kumar. I'm sure you'll do well in whatever you put your time and mind.
@@KumaarFamily As I am sure you know, the "coldness" is all for legal reasons. If you were told "You have done a great job and your contributions are really appreciated and have provided a lot of value. But the business environment has changed and your role is no longer needed" basically too much info for the employee to decide to sue "See, they said I was valuable and they got rid of me rather than judy because I cost more!" But sometimes things slip through! When I was laid off, between notification and last day, I received my final annual review, which started "Another good year for [me]" Thank goodness, if it had been a bad year I might have been, oh wait!
Truly sorry to learn of your circumstances but worry not, when a door is shut, more than often a greater opportunity is waiting... I'm based in Europe & 9 yrs ago when I took in someone to stand in for me while I take my annual sabbatical & 6 months into it this guy wrote me telling me that I'm FIRED and tho I was terribly upset especially when the board who's always been supportive during my 11 yrs with them kept silent but without such experience, I wouldn't be here today, working across 35 countries just in the past 9 yrs & saving 2-3x as much and the experience of working with leaders from all walks of life and on n on.... good things waiting for u4 too so just hv faith & trust in God!!!

Trust in the Lord. Continue to trust Him. When one door closes, another one will open. The journey of life is never smooth but He promises to never leave us nor abandon us. Your plans to expand this channel sound promising. All the best. Fellow Malaysian
Like many have said, NEVER be loyal to a company. Be loyal only to yourself and your family. A company will drop you as fast as they can to save a buck without ever considering about what it would do to you. You'll make it through. You've got you're head on your shoulders. These things tend to also open opportunities you would not have seen or taken before. Good luck
I have been through this. 2009 recession time.I was pregnant and was the easy target. And in India you don't even get compensation for lay off because they don't do it as lay off. They just blame on performance which we can't cross question. Stay strong buddy. Corporate life is tough
Indian corporate MNC culture is so messed up. Most big companies literally treat their employees like disposable dirt. Hope you are in a better environment now.
This is my story. For 20 years, I was contented working in a college, by an amazing management. Not all the best and rosy, yet, the best company. Then, company was sold for merging with another college. All broke loose. Horrible bosses, work long hours, can’t take leave, work from home etc etc. My lady boss, a rude, brutal woman, until I left. Along the years, I took up yoga and last year at 58, I started my zen, Nava’s Zen. Proud of how I worked out my life. Life is such and surprisingly, will lead to better paths. ❤❤❤
Kumar...I know how it feels. I've been there and it was a real test of faith. Praying for you and your family to sail through with Blessings in Abundance
So sorry that you faced this unexpected challenges. Never too late to find your passion. Just consider the old chapter is now finished. Now you make the new chapter and enjoying as much as you can. P/s: I used to get laid off from work too. I know how it feels. Really hurt so much.
me too twice at end of working stage….God removed something from you in order to give you a better thing to come….blessing in disguise. Keep your faith in turn of things.. Cheers Teh Tarik
Unfortunately looks don't pay the bills, ergo they aren't important either. What's important is the strength of a couple's love, because love can fly through the window when unemployment flies in through the door.
I was the Head of a tech dept in a tech company when I was laid off in 2016. I have 4 teenagers in school. My wife worked and encouraged me to start my own business. I did and never have looked back since. Life is tough but us humans will adapt and move on. May u find success in ur new journey. May Allah bless u and ur family always. Ur Malaysian brother.
Are you out of your mind when you say "May Allah bless u and ur family always". This guy's not even Muslim. Do legitimate prayers for your fellow Muslim brothers/sisters who are indeed suffering in every part of the world, and can't put food on the table, not for kafirs like him. He'll easily find another job as a non-Muslim and as someone else pointed out earlier that his channel alone can support his living. He also has his wife who works, so he should be perfectly fine.

This is what we all have to understand. We are just numbers in corporate America. When it comes to letting you go, they don't care about what you've done in the past. It's always cold.
Totally agree. I believe in working hard for a company, but work/life balance is important. In the end, that company doesn't personally care about you. It's just a job.
I'm saying this not only to you, but also to myself. I might lose my job too anytime soon. Now I'm in a wait and see game. Tough time. So, lets chill, cool down. Take a step back and rest. Reset our mind, reset our body. Rethink our plan. Wish you all the best Kumaar and family.
The truth is only 1% of the folks working out there are worth the effort. Most think they are hard worker, but are below average... It's the sad truth... If Kumaar was really worth his salt, he wouldn't have been let go...
I lost my job in Covid time , and it was a shock to get to know I lost my job only when my credentials stopped working and I got to know I got laid off only through a recorded zoom call , I was lost , i dint had confidence to find another job , but I realised it’s just part of our journey called LIFE and moved on , found a better job in a month , I felt happy and glad and yet it proved again everything happens for a reason

@@meh_6425 Yeah, I don't think dude is wrong for saying that, but to say "pretty sure" is an overstatement. Like, is this youtube channel big even enough yet to be financially depended 100% ? If not, then that's a problem. Plus, if it is, then Kumar won't be doing two jobs and wouldn't be worried about losing his main job.
Its normal to feel little bit anxious masa awal awal bro, it happened to me as well before. Straight away bought ticket and fly somewhere else but single lah at that time. However don't worry too much, do your best, rezeki tak pernah salah alamat. Semoga di mudahkan urusan sekeluarga hendaknya.
i've been working before as a Flight Steward in one of the Low Cost Carrier in Malaysia, for 6 years, i got retrenched during COVID, a week before my wife gave birth to my 1st born child, it was hectic, i was down, upset and keep on asking? why me..? but then again? there is a new door open for me.. what i'm trying to say is? i feel you, and do ur best in whatever you do. Wow, that must have been really really tough for you. Thanks for sharing. We will try to stay strong and keep going. Appreciate the love and support! ❤️
the same thing happened to me, I gave up my job due to unbearable treatment from my superior. But I was so positive that there's something better and bigger waiting for me. it was true, I even gain weight couple Kgs because I am happier after years of being too skinny and struggling to gain weight. now I do part time job and enjoying life more with my family, plan to travel around Indonesia to visit family and see more possibility. making money while being happy is way more valuable, priceless. life is an option, and God give us the best for us.
Same here. Was working for the same LCC as you (12 years). I got laid off to a false accusation at the beginning of COVID in 2020. It okay brother. That LCC was toxic anyway. You are better off now. Every single person that left the LCC is doing better now and i believe you will too. Take care and good luck for the future brother.
This is Shankar here. Being in the software industry for more than decade & one day situation forced me to quit (I just ignored it to get back to office). Man that feeling is so bad while quitting & I can feel that in this video. 11months without monthly salary & after starting a new startup called Menmai Fabrics I'm doing great by learning a lot of stuff daily. To till date my channel stayed as a side project & it turned out to be one of USP. Hearty wishes for your new adventure.
My family had gone through this in 2020 when my husband suddently got laid off exactly in the same manner that happened to you, that too after 23 yrs of service in that company. No reason stated. My son was about to enter into college & going to hostel. Lots of costs involved. My job was intact & we worked in the same dept for such a long period of time. When I was hearing your story all these painful memories came back. Now my husband is doing ok & self employed. Hope your channel grows. Whatever you do in life wish thar brings happiness to you. Best wishes. 😊

Stay strong Kumaar. It happened to me in about four years ago. Get rid of everything you can, push hard on UA-cam, push hard on talking to people you know for jobs. Also keep applying for jobs like crazy. It's a volume game and I'm talking THOUSANDS of applications to hit the right job ... not hundreds. It is a cold hard world out there but you can bounce back. Stay strong. Never give up.
I feel you, man. Had the same experience with my last company, received a letter after more than 7 years with that company. No gratitude received from previous managers whom I worked with and helped the project. Luckily I still have other supervisor that still care and helped me to find new job. Good thing will come from bad experience. I’m now in a better and secured job than before. Stay positive, man. Wish you all the best of luck! Don’t lose hope.

Keep doing what you're doing, and don't forget to celebrate the small wins along the way. You've got this!
you're ain't alone, i was being laid off and i was divorced by my wife during this tough time whom spent 15 yrs together. I am still trying to embrace the fact these are happening on me, and i am embracing this and trying to tell myself to go on, and doing my best for my 5yo daughter during my 1-day per week during visitation in KL (although my life still a mess now). Watched this video brought up all the reels of the bad memories and tough weeks and months i am going through these while, made me tear and weep that i dont wish to.

my friend, nothing is permanent in this world except Change. No US company does that as you wish/wished. You got paid for what you did, so why do you expect thanks/anything...... being in the US you could have factored....in already...Therapy is not the solution, finding a job /means to find alternate life is the solution. So you need to have more self-confidence than therapy. US lives for today, not for the future. go with your self-confidence.... all the best...It is not TATA like Indian company...........................................................showing gratitude.........there is an American movie on this ....perhaps you have not seen that movie....please that
It's unfortunate, but that is America. You are useful for a company, until you are not. You are simply a widget filling a role. The idea that a company cares about its employees is laughable. They don't. They care about making money. On another note, you should think about coming here to Germany. Lots of decent paying high tech jobs and brilliant worker's rights.
I lost my business back in the early 2000s along with almost everything else except my family with young kids. I never panic and give up. I worked hard and bounced back. But I will always remember for the rest of my life, one occasion I had to borrow rm50 from my mum in law to buy food for the family. Im sure you will bounce back too.
When you mentioned conglomerate.. That was a big red flags.. Having work under company and organisations handled by 2nd generation (Families) onwards they exhibits the worst kind of leadership.
First time cominf across your channel and really appreciate your openness and vulnerability throughout this video!

Don't worry, this happened to me a few years ago and I went through a hard time in my life before I turned things around, I do not regret one bit that I got out of a zero growth environment into one that is very much in demand now.
It's called living in America. I lost been sick and hospitalized. Now I'm homeless with no medical insurance.
Laid off is just worst... mental health and many things effect...
I have worked in a toxic environment and been a top performer. Hence, I thought I was doing something I love and was afraid to leave the job. Once I left the job, things are just getting better and better. I guess it was God's way to show me I should the best life He has planned for me. Wish you all the best!
Inflation has a greater impact on people's cost of living than a crashing stock or housing market,
resulting in an immediate and tangible effect. This explains the current high level of negative market
sentiment, and our need for assistance in surviving this challenging economy. The financial markets have
underperformed due to fears of inflation, causing stock and bond prices to plummet. Despite sounding basic,
consulting a financial advisor has enabled me to outperform the market and achieve a profit of $850,000
since June 2022, making it the ideal approach to enter the financial markets today.
Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, constructing a solid financial portfolio has
become increasingly intricate. Therefore, I strongly advise anyone facing difficulties to
consider seeking professional assistance. By doing so, you can access tailored strategies that
specifically cater to your individual long-term goals and financial aspirations.
May I know the name of the financial advisor who has been helping you with your investments? If you're
comfortable sharing, could you also guide me on how to contact them?
The financial advisor I work with is *STEPHANIE KOPP MEEKS* . I discovered her during a CNBC interview and contacted her thereafter. She has been guiding me by providing entry and exit points for the specific securities I focus on. If you're interested, you can search for her online to learn more about her
expertise. I have been following her market strategies and have had no regrets thus far.
Thanks for the info . Found her website and it really impressive

Looks like we’re in the same boat! All the best to you too! ❤️

I have been through this. 2009 recession time.I was pregnant and was the easy target. And in India you don't even get compensation for lay off because they don't do it as lay off. They just blame on performance which we can't cross question. Stay strong buddy. Corporate life is tough
Forget about compensation Indian work culture is toxic, I feel so done sometimes.
Totally agree. I believe in working hard for a company, but work/life balance is important. In the end, that company doesn't personally care about you. It's just a job.

Yes go for it ! You have a beautiful family 💝People care about authenticity and good stories and not how good the edits are. Trust the magic of new beginnings. Its not one´s job to always carry certain burdens alone. We are afterall humans and socially wired for a reason. Even if you just post a random video or sharing "small" family updates people will love to see that so trust your intuition and just go step by step i am sure it will work out :-). Maybe even try some light pranks...
Im sorry to hear you got laid off.Seems like one door just closed but 4 more are opening for you.All the best wishes in your next venture(s).
The way your employer let you go was cold,I absolutely agree.Horrible people 😡
Stay strong Kumar family, you'll get thru it.

Yeah...I kinda know how it felt, for my case, I had a 1 year contract with a company, even tho, I gave my best, with an expectation that i will be permanently absorbed..The call never came and I had to struggle for 4 months, went to countless job iv, facing rejections, and finally I got an offer from a big company.. Just keep on grinding bro, believe in God, that other opportunities will come..keep on fighting!
nothing is permanent...jobs will copme and go....whats the new in it.
Contract jobs are contract based for a reason. Take the high basic and move on to another job.
my friend, nothing is permanent in this world except Change.
Hardships keep us down to earth, and reminds us where we came from...so that we always stay humble. May you always have enough.
When you mentioned conglomerate.. That was a big red flags.. Having work under company and organisations handled by 2nd generation (Families) onwards they exhibits the worst kind of leadership. They will also attract their own kinds. It is a good thing for you to go.. before the environment turns toxics.
I want to see more of your content. Hope you get all the support you needed and persevere through this journey! All the best!
X pe... Rezki d mana2... Setiap kehidupan MESTI ADA CABARAN... Tabahkan diri... STAY STRONG... nnty ada rezki lain... Aja2 hwaitin 💪💪💪
InsyaAllah rezeki semua sudah tertulis, kita cuma perlu berusaha...teruskan berjuang utk keluarga tercinta. 🇲🇾🌺
So sorry to hear of your news. I've been through a few job losses but the most important thing about each one was that it made me stronger. And I always believe that when one door closes another will open at the right time. Thanks for being so candid and sharing your story - your future plans sound so exciting, and wish you nothing but the best!
Stay strong bro.. Hidup kat dunia ni akan sentiasa ada jatuh & bangun... Jgn patah semangat.. Teruskan berusaha demi family... Good luck
Nothing like WE & OURS sentiments ya feelings in corporate America,it’s all about own pocket interests in top tier level plus investors. Mergers are mostly brutal for many sincere workers as new team in charge may want to reshuffle few by bringing in their own past team members or report more profits on papers by downsizing & cost cutting measures & pocket more in bonuses.
I'm so sorry for the news 😢 i hope there are silver lining and hope this channel will grow exponentially 🎉 can't wait for the merch tho 😂 hope it will have malaysia delivery
Bersabar dan berusaha, kamu ada Tuhan, kamu ada isteri dan anak2,family yg menyokong kamu, terus bersemangat💪
Semoga dipermudahkan urusan. It's a sad saying but it's better to never expect your company or boss to say thanks. Selalunya kita dibayar gaji dan syarikat anggap kita yg patut berterima kasih. Good luck in the next chapter in your journey, all the best 💪🏻
