    First time I heard a "narcissist" admitting to the things he did wrong and actually doubting himself. That's actually a big step, no, a huge leap in their way of seeing themselves and the world around them. To admit one is wrong you need to have humility and maturity that I definitely never saw in a narcissist (my father was one and my mother had her special cocktail of personality disorder). As far as I know, they are very rarely capable to grow as a person.

    If he feels bad for things he has done he clearly not a narcissist he may have over problems a normal person will admit they did wrong and apologize for things they done to people like abuse someone a normal person will admit and apologize a narcissist oh no they won’t admit or remorse or take responsibility for anything they do it’s really dangerous disorder and people should be avoided they don’t change either.

    I think people have a lack of understanding when it comes to npd or even borderline personality disorder (a lot of overlap with symptoms). It's not true that narcissists are never able to admit it. Covert narcissists are the more victim type narcissists and are not the same as malignant narcissists. I know because my mother is a narcissist and she will admit to being narcissistic, and only began to self reflect when no one wanted to be around her anymore.

    I know people like that in my life that I have to be close with because that’s where I live. It seems to me he’s not happy with his actions and he’s desperate to change and that’s why he’s here. I think this is a rare case because narcissists don’t normally come out and admit any bad doing. I wish these people the best and hope they get the help they need.

    Why is the brother even there if what he did was “unforgivable”? If you’re not willing to forgive then there is no room for improvement so you might as well go home.

    When I was younger I was an extreme narcissist. Weirdly enough, a psychedelic experience changed my entire life and allowed me to see myself for the first time how others see me. Every aspect of my life changed after that for the better.

    *I don't think a true pathological narcissist would ever admit to being a narcissist and to all that stuff. I think this guy has narcissistic tendencies but not the full disorder.*

      There's no such thing as FULL narc, you either are or you aren't. EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN THE WORLD HAS NARC TENDENCIES, including you, so are you half-a-narc? NO, it's the AMOUNT that counts. And it's a PERSONALITY DISORDER not some regular illness that you can get treatment for and one day be cured, personalities can't be fixed.

    There are some that have a mental illness that are aware of it. It's not often but it happens. The ones who know they have something wrong and admit that and seek for help are the ones who want to change and need help to change. It I so hard to do it on your own.

    • @narcabusefreezone6798
      @narcabusefreezone6798 2 роки тому

      Dude, this ISN'T A MENTAL ILLNESSES, it's a personality disorder. Pretty much EVERYONE with a mental illness KNOWS AND ADMITS that they have them, NARCS DON'T ADMIT ANYTHING WRONG WITH THEM. Narcs cannot change and it's untreatable,

    The naïveté of so many people in the comments is beyond concerning. Only someone that has never met a narcissist could ever think they could change. They are not like us. This man is not on a path to growth and change, they don’t want to change and they CAN’T change. This is his attempt to repair his image and get attention so that he can lure people back into his life to continue to use and abuse. The faster they get away from this man for good, the better.

    • @narcabusefreezone6798
      @narcabusefreezone6798 2 роки тому +1

      Well as someone whose claimed to have even MET a narc you would know that this man IS NOT ONE. Good try though.
