one tip I would recommend, pull as many all nighters as you can, its important to preserve the toxic energy of architecture school and the profession as a whole
I'm on vacation and turning sophomore this year!!! I watched some of your videos and found them inspiring because they told me that I'm not the only one who questions myself about architecture. Nevertheless, I still find myself trying my best to obtain knowledge and improve my skills more, as a matter of fact, I saw my progress for almost one year. Hoping that you will create more videos that can inspire a student like me, thank you so much.
we have the same issue with learning BIM at university. none of our lectureres have any idea about BIM and have only ever seen student work from them. they also dont have industry knowledge so we have been pushing to get extra tutorials for these bim programs. but its super hard to get help. thanks so much for your videos. its helped me through my entire degree
Me seeing this as I graduate Arch school this semester, I can confirm this will help anybody looking to try Architecture as a career. Enjoy these videos alot! Much love from UW-Milwaukee!
I would add being prepared financially. I burned through money just buying materials for studio and I was fortunate to have my parents pay for some of the supplies. I would describe money not as a barrier to entry for architecture but it definitely makes a huge difference especially when if you can afford great software’s that can elevate a project.
These videos are really helpful, I have wanted to become an architect for a couple years now and i am already enrolled in 3 college courses as a 15 year old. All of these videos are helping me focus on things i need to improve on more.
I'm so happy to hear that this is helping you out! Let me know if there's any other videos you're looking for. Best of luck with your classes - remember to take time for yourself too(:
hello, i’ve just got your channel and subscribed, because of your well done mentality, visualisation and explanation. By the way, i wander if i could see your portfolio.
Hey, this is Karthik.Your videos are really accountable. I'm a civil engineer and how we can learn about architecture methodology? Can you give me some tips about that?
@@0JustSoph0 I GOT IN FOR FREE OH MY GOD i applied to faculty of architecture AND faculty of urban planning and got into both with full coverage so i even got to choose (i chose arch) :D. that's russia though and i'm GONNA transfer to a north american university after my 2nd year here i have to put effort into my stats and ECs now that's gonna be fun. but for now i'm so happy!! i can even afford a bulk to accelerate fitness progress now :D
Is architecture a good carrier to make money ? I had just completed my 10th class after this I hav to choose my stream for further studies... I really love to go with the science field... But am not sure for later like I may be go with civil.... But i better choose architect but it just depend which field be better to get easy jobs or can easily earn more money through...
I’d say yes but, you either need to have your license or years of experience before you start making good money. I have my BS in architecture and being in the field for almost two years I make $22/hr. As with a lot of careers the more certifications you add generally your salary will increase.
i do have a question please. do you think it's possible for someone with associate degree in architecture to get a job maybe an entry level job without having a bachelor in hand? specifically in united states. ny to be precise lol here i am
Perrie! Last couple years you helped me a lot! I am an international student and I freezed my school in my country, now I am trying to transfer myself NYIT, you have a big part on my journey! Thanks a lot! 🤍
not incredibly intense! and now that I am professionally practicing architecture, I promise it's easy - we almost always refer back to our civil engineering partners. You only need to worry about basic arithmetic
Focus on drawing/ modelling what you are going to pin up in your presentation rather than making an incredible detailed cad model. No one cares unless you communicate it in the presentation.

i couldn’t agree more 💯👍
lol 1 year in and only had to pull one
One and a half semester in, had to do one for the final project of basic design until now
