Ford sync 3 interference / white noise from center speaker

- My 2016 Ford Focus has an intermittent problem with the Sync 3 sound system. Sometimes when starting the car the sound system will emit a very loud static / white noise sound from the center speaker and turning the volume up from zero just increases the noise and no audio output from the other speakers in the car.
If I run the sat nav the audio from this comes out the side speakers without any issue but as soon as I turn up the volume on the dash the interference noise wipes out all other sound.
I have found in the past that leaving the car overnight will often solve the issue.
If anyone else knows how to fix this please let me know in the comments below.

This has happened to me a few times, and to get playback I've had to use the rear speakers only. However the sat nav voice directions come through the center speaker clear as day, again as you've found out, leaving it over helps clears it. I have searched the Web for an answer, but have yet to find one.
You have any joy fixing the speakers
Quick note, mine sounded like it was coming from the centre speaker on the gauge pod.
Quite easy to fully disconnect this if need be, lots of guides on UA-cam. Simply pop the pod up by hand and the connection is right there.
Maybe worth while if you have a persistent offender!

this just started happening to me only through bluetooth and usb, everything else works just fine. tried to update, tried another phone and even master reset and still nothing works

Ive got this happening on my 2015 st in july 2023. Did anyone find a fix. I have sync 2 though.
This has just happened to us. Has anyone found out why this happens as how to stop it happening? We ended up setting off with no music and 5 mins in to our journey someone cut us up at a roundabout, when my husband pressed the horn the white noise came blasting out the speakers. Not good, could of caused a road accident
I just received a replacement Modular for a sync 2 system and my Bluetooth hass did it is where this started from
I get this with my sync 2 system
mine crackles for a second and goes away. Then i lose my sound all together. Usually comes back after setting over night. Getting worse.
Mine has been better since i did the last update on it. Took around an hour as you have to have the engine running all the time. The download was on the ford website.

This happened to me this morning with Sync 2
Had the car sat whilst at work, approx nine hours and fine when I came back out.
Is there a true cause/fix for this as yet?
