Good review, This is a decent unit however the water runs out way to quick! These are also way overpriced at 200 bucks! I snagged one of these models from Amazon, the luma comfort branded version (same company) for around 90.00 , I don't think they are worth more than that...
Thanks for this review. Did anyone use this model in Seattle/Portland area for this recent (and horrendous) heat wave - and with temperatures going over 100? (We hit 108 here.) The PNW is mapped as a part of the country where these "swamp coolers" work, but I can't find any reviews specifically from this area - and from this latest extreme weather experience (extreme, at least, for us). People are always posting from So Cal, Arizona/NM, or Colorado. What about from where we are -- and how they worked in the recent heat wave? Thanks, if you have any feedback from this part of the country.
It's not as he made it look. Just feels like a regular fan blowing. Water don't make a huge difference or the ice pack. 199.00 pff could have made one of those $40 DIY ones
Just got one yesterday our a/C went out in my house so we're using this to keep our room cool, I had a quick questions what are those numbers that show on the display at the end of the video?? I can't seem to get that on
@@Cheese-rp5ww NO not for what I needed it for, our a/c completely went our and it did not do a good job of cooling our room down, we just ended up returning it and buying a window A/C unit and it's amazing
How is this an accurate review of it's effectiveness? You already controlled the temperature of the house/room with your central ac before operating the unit. Let's see a review where there's a higher humidity in the space or your central ac was off for 24 hours during a heatwave....
Nice piece of equipment and I'm sure really nice for your part of the country! Looks like a helpful item even where the summers are hot and humid; tho I wonder if it would add too much additional humidity..? Thank you Jeff
I just bought this and can’t open the remote to install the battery - it opens very slightly but won’t pull out. Any suggestions? Thanks for the review.
Im struggling too with it. Its a safety feature so children dont swallow the battery. Shine light on instructions with "readers on" you press on side of mini drawer not the housing but pull same time
Thank you for the review. Very informative. You didn't leave anything out.
I love the hardwood floor echo effect. LOL

I seen them in Home Depot today. They are for $199.

Why use warm water when ice cold water would work better
