If in Islam, the religion itself cannot be forced on someone, how can a specific law be forced on it's people? Where does it say in Islam that the law has to be forced on the people and if they do not follow it, they go to jail or get beaten up. How many other Muslim countries have this law? The idea of forcing Islamic laws on people is Bid'ah in my opinion. Can you name me an Islamic empire who forced Islamic law it's on people? The purpose of life is a test, but where is the test if you are forced to do something with no free will. All these laws do is make people hate Islam. Look at what happen in Iran, The Iranian people have distance themself from Islam because of these restrictive laws. The Taliban are close to becoming like the khawarij. The main issue though is that the Taliban are an uneducated people and the people do not want them to run the government. In islam, it is forbidden to over a government but the Taliban did it twice, once in 1996 and this recently. All of this against the teachings found in Hadiths.

As an Afghan man, I don't believe the "Taliban" mentality is foreign to Afghan culture. Rather, it represents an extreme form of the traditional mindset that already exists in Afghan society. The Taliban are simply further to the right compared to the rest of the Afghan population, much like the warlords who ruled the country before them. I see the Taliban as an evolved version of the Mujahideen, which reflected the dominant mindset of many Afghans. Otherwise, the Mujahideen wouldn't have thrived in the 1990s. In villages, the tradition of marrying off a girl to settle disputes is a common thing today. Let nostalgia not take us away from the reality. I also disagree with the notion that the Taliban don't represent Afghan culture. In fact, they are a reflection of a society that has historically denied women their rights-a society rooted in patriarchy, tradition, and customs that systematically oppressed women. The so-called "indigenous modernization" that the guest referred to in this debate, particularly during Amanullah Khan's reign in the early 1900s, illustrates this point. Amanullah, a monarch, attempted to introduce reforms inspired by Western values after a series of international visits. However, these values were so foreign to Afghan society that they faced fierce resistance, eventually forcing Amanullah to flee the country and die in exile. In my personal experience, my family moved from central Afghanistan to Kabul in the 1960s. My father sent my sisters to school and university, but once they got married, their husbands prevented them from continuing their education. One of my sisters was in her third year at the Kabul University medical faculty when her husband, a practicing doctor-not a Taliban member, as they didn’t exist at the time-stopped her from pursuing her studies. The ban on my sister was similar to what we see today in Afghanistan. Later, my sister moved to Europe and wanted to take on some odd jobs, but her son, also a doctor, wouldn't allow her to work. When a panelist claims that an educated mother would never allow her child to be misguided, this is not always true. A mother, who grew up secondary to her brothers, might have been fortunate enough to attend school, but would likely have had to take on more housework after school as a "favor" in order to continue her education. Meanwhile, her brothers could play or watch TV, illustrating the deep-rooted inequality that predated the Taliban phenomenon. Afghanistan has always been a closed and isolated society, steeped in religious and patriarchal traditions where women were consistently oppressed and denied their right, except the few elite outliers.
There is no place for music in Islam, however women should be educated in separate institutions. The education is compulsory in Islam for both women and men.

Taliban shame on you
When France or elsewhere ban niqab(face veil), is not that violation of personal freedom?
Every country has to solve their issues by them selfs !!!!!!
