It seems you are listening to the same thing but its been modified a bit differently. btw theres this really good piece of music when you play Halo 3, just wait in the menu and it should start after the theme goes away...I cant figure out wat is it though.
And the Forward unto Dawn music was really just a recycled piece from the first game. But you know, a lot of Halos soundtrack was dropped in halo 2, it was nice to see them go back.
