whats funny is a long time ago, when i was 5, my friend was turning five and he wanted halo. his parents got him halo 2 for his b-day. i wonder if he screamed at that age when he battled the flood in that game XD

Oh yeah, channel "halo5follower" discovered that the mysterious exhaling creepy zombie type sound played backwards is Gravemind "poetry" possibly foreshadowing something that apparently hasn't happened in Halo's story yet.
Halo 1 Flood was a terrifying momentum of what was to come. Halo 2 was literally shit your pants freaky the first time you encounter them. (Human was the worst!) Halo 3 was show casing the real Hive-like nature of them, but wasnt AS freaky as the previous ones. I swear, 343i needs to bring back the Flood. (and if they do, they better not look like "Flood Mode", they looked retarded there)
Yea, when I went into the the room and saw the bodies I turned around and that was when the door closed and locked XD! It was exactly what you would expect from a movie but in first-person. I was trying to beat down the door for like 2 mins...then I looked at the radar... "AHHHHHHHHHHHHH! AHHHHHHH! HELP ME SWEET JESUS! OH MY GOD!" Were the words as I recall it.
There might be more flood on the other halo rings. We never did see ALL of them and if they're all similar in design all of them should contain flood inside somewhere. They would need to be tougher than in halo 3 though. They were sooo easy compared to how strong they were in halo 1 & 2. You just go around punching them all in halo 3. Melee OP

I always thought the flood were very interesting enemies, I know that they are all basically dead now, but I want to see them in halo 5. Like they're the last ones alive and trying to repopulate.
well my halo experince with the flood at night is horrifing i am constantly looking over my back and wishing i had the halo one magnum in my hand just incase
@enrique380 You only see him once and that is beneath the library on delta halo, he appears to be some kind of worm with tentacles. somehow he did not die when the forerunners activated halo 100,000 years ago and he managed to capture delta halos monitor, 2401 Penitant Tangent and the body of regret and later on cortana which gains him knowledge of every faction involved in this entire conflict. I think it would have been awesome to fight and kill him in halo3
actually the flood are really just the characters that have undergone a painful infection and ahve been severely mutated to look like the thing controlling them

the combat forms don'tplay dead another of the little things gets in them and resses it and my opion is that the flood is NOT A ZOMBIE cos zombies are people ressed by unholy means but people know what u say if ya say zombie and ever thought that the litle things look like cabages
