Hiya Dave, awesome video and a lot of beautiful beads and opals OMG that was so awesome. It was making my mouth water seeing those water opals, bad thing is they will crack if they don't get treated and sealed. But like you said about putting them in a necklace in little bottles of water, they'll stay beautiful forever. I really enjoyed your video, keep up the awesome work, and have a great blessed day. Cya!

I love how you respect the work of others & educate us as we see the beauties of the earth. So good! 🥰

Did you happen to get a picture of the business card of that business with all the beads? Since I only went to that show twice, I kept meaning to stock up on beads (for bracelets), but kept getting sidetracked. There were so many bead tables throughout the place, I figured I could get it at my convenience, but towards the end I found a jeweler who was liquidating so I basically just gave him all of my money. haha I'm kicking myself now that you showed me the prices! I think this table was not related to a lot of the other bead tables that were spread out.

If they're not "storing" those opals in water changing them out? They will dry OK. Never store hydrophane in water, like Aussi. Completely diff composition.
I've seen several expmnts w/ drying water logged opal intentionally soaked & off the dop. Most very unsuccessful; Acetone, low heat, silica pellets dry it too fast. The opal cracks. I use plain rice. Not enriched or uncle Bens perverted 🤣 rice. But natural ( I eat Basmati & Jasmine. I like the taste) dried rice. Had No problems. Cuts dry time by few days.
I've had a few opals water log by athmospheric humidity. Smalls 1 ct & less.
