This is so true. We get advice from a teacher, and the teacher can listen to you and then help you out. But you practice everyday and have to learn to listen to yourself self teaching I love a teacher though. Love to learn
You can do both! I think lip vibrato is more common on clarinet and the way I do it. I know a lot of saxophone players who do lip and/or diaphragm vibrato. As long as it sounds good!
