I found out last week that Siri announces text messages and you can reply when you have them in. Pretty cool for the office!

Felicity yea it’s done this for me too and I have the 1s but ima get the pros ina minute but the downside for me is it basically turns the volume and reads the message but for some reason it reads them so low and then it turns the volume up but only a few seconds later
It would be cool if they added additional modes. I would like to have a super hearing mode that could actually amplify sounds around you

It's interesting how people often refer to "Live Listen" as a spy tool or concept for eavesdropping on someone. However, for those who are hearing-impaired where a hearing-aide isn't quite appropriate, it's a helpful feature. I've struggled with ambient noise and something of a notch-filter for certain frequencies right around the human speech range. While the AirPods do offer a slight benefit in cutting down some of the noise, the Live Listen feature augments hearing further to help with amplifying and delivering speech sounds nearby.

I like my air pods however, you'd think Apple would have come up with a way to control the volume on them without having to adjust from the device they are paired to. . It's difficult to lower the volume from my phone that may be mounted to my handlebars while riding my bike, or in my pocket while running.
That's about the only thing I truly hate about them. ☺️

there is a way to change it in settings so that you can slide on your airpods and it increases/decreases the volume

You can connect your AirPods to your amazon fire stick by going to settings go to Bluetooth holding down the button on the back on the air pods

On my iPhone 7 when I press the “I” icon I can’t do anything with the AirPods apart from disconnect them can some one help
tien booth Then you either don’t have real AirPods or you need to update your iOS
That used to happen with me too, idk how I got the “I” icon all the sudden
tien booth i’m pretty sure the sharing audio is on,y for iphones 8 and newer
green giant audio sharing is on iOS 13 and up
tien booth make sure they're connected, that's what worked for me
