If I may make a suggestion - given the rate of evolution of knowledge nowadays it may be helpful to do a "date stamp" at the beginning of each video, tell the camera what the date is. That way no matter when it is uploaded, the viewer will know right away what date it was when the ideas expressed were expressed!
Hello, thank you for your comment. We could certainly look into that, we do upload within a few days/weeks of recording usually so the upload date is likely quite accurate to the timeframe of knowledge evolution. We appreciate you watching! -David
Why would good works have to be connected to a religion?
Seems like salvation and afterlife are more about religious beliefs than good works??? Anyone can do good works and not be a good person…religious or not…
Curious what degrees you each are- likely I missed that in the intro 😬 I’ll check!
Hello, thank you for your comment! There certainly seems to be a connection to that thought, very insightful. Are they 'good works' if they aren't a good person? I suppose it's all relative.
To truly understand Freemasonry, you'll learn that the 'highest' degree a Mason can claim is that of Master Mason (3rd Degree). While each of us has additional affiliation with various groups, masonic or not, as we've discussed on other shows, there are other appendant and concordant bodies that require a man to be a Freemason (Master Mason) to join and some even number their additional knowledge classes (often referred to as degrees).
The public likes to reference a man as having achieved the 32nd or 33rd Degree of Freemasonry and that's not quite accurate. If someone states they are a 33rd Degree Mason, they are leaving out the part that further indicates they are a 33rd Degree 'Scottish Rite' member.
Thank you for watching! -David
