The most beautiful stadium I've ever seen in my life. I was lucky enough to be in Atlanta while it was under construction. Hopefully I can go back to Atlanta soon and visit it.
Dude I'm Architect and I know what I'm talking about. This is my opinion about this stadium among so many stadiums I've visitid and designed in my live. You don't have to agree with me though your opinion is appreciated.
Faisal Alshomrani IMO the Allianz Arena in Munich and AAMI Stadium in Melbourne(on the outside) are better looking. TBH this is still a beautiful stadium.
teammelli91 doubt it FIFA hate playing men’s World Cup games on artificial turf. They will if they have to but if there is a stadium around the same size with a grass pitch they will almost always choose that first.
"A signature for Atlanta" ... his statement is the FIRST from a major sports franchise that actually means the facility was built for their Fans. They did not try to out do Jerry's World or other stadiums. They thoughtfully and "simply" took their fan base into the equation as an equal, or perhaps a majority, stakeholder when designing the facility. I applaud their efforts and their sense of community.
As beautiful as it is, it feels extremely suffocating. The glass and the other shell covers so much of the stadium and so high to the point that there's almost no sky upwards. People there will feel extremely claustrophobic. All regular modern stadiums gives you feel of an openess where you can look up to the sky and feel the air brushing on the grass... This stadium is a big pretty fuck up. I love how the Americans spend billions of tax payers' dollars building a stadium RIGHT NEXT to the billion dollar stadium they just spend 20 years ago. Yet there are thousands of homeless and poor people in the same city with no way out.
The Origami Octagon Shape Star. They chose an exceptional dome pattern design. 🔥 Best looking NFL stadium hands down. Like how you can go around without having to get out of your section & the pure 360° screens. Awesome!
I heard in another video during it's construction they were going to make concessions inside "reasonable"... $4 for hot dog, $5 for beer, etc.... Is that still true? If so, WHY can't other stadiums be like that???
It looks a little like the old Astrodome. Round and smaller seating capacity. This is the nicest stadium in Georgia. The only NFL stadiums that are nicer are LA stadium, Cowboys Stadium, Arrowhead, Lambeau Field, US Bank Vikings Stadium, Reliant stadium, Lucas Oil Stadium, and the Phoenix stadium.
They imploded the dome because it was costing too much to maintain but the upkeep costs on the roof alone at the Benz is going to be way higher than the needed repairs on the dome ever were.
Grrrr!! I am soo jealous. Why can't my favorite team have a stadium like this. Unless there are some unknown drawbacks it immediately comes into the league as the best stadium in football. I am an Atlanta Braves fan, I would have loved for the Falcons to have been my favorite NFL Team, but they just never did it for me. With a new stadium like this I almost wish they had. Congrats Falcons fans and players, you can finally breath some fresh air during home games. I don't like domes (though that's not rare not many people like them), and to be honest unless they are done correctly and in a certain way I don't care for retractable's either, but if you're gonna do one do it right! Make it unique, I love the way the roof opens (would have probably prefered a larger opening, but it's close enough.) It's not like that horrible opening the Cowboys used to have in their old stadium, and even their new one's roof opening is a to small. But yeah love the unique way the roof opens, and that makes a big deal as the way some stadiums roofs open can be pretty horrendous. Take the Miami Marlins in the MLB for instance, they have this ugly huge track and if they want to open it the whole roof just slides outside the stadium. Leaving you with a giant strange awning.
This stadium is great ... I think it's modelled on the best modern European soccer stadiums ... and it makes sense that Atlanta United are able to play their home games there - because the NFL season is very short ... worth getting maximum value out of this every year.
Well, you guys did an amazing job. I was there on Sunday when it opened with my son. The sun killed us temporarily because of where we were sitting, but it was fun to be part of it. Genius!
"the architects were nervous". The architects were nervous, what about the engineers. Good job thinking of a camera lense idea, now engineers gotta build the damn thing
I’m a spoiled Cowboy fan that gets to watch games in AT&T stadium A.K.A JerryWorld….but the new Falcons stadium is BEAUTIFUL…do yourself a favor and visit this stadium
You know... Here's the thing that I don't get from modern architecture for NFL stadiums... What's up with all the sharp edges these day? Is it suppose to be more sustainable than stadiums that feature more of an organic curvy look (similar what you would see in the design of the TWA Terminal at JFK)?
It's nice. Some aspects not that thought out but ok. The biggest issue is the halo. It's too high and too foreshortened. They need to add a main screen on the second level.
Don't be surprised if this will be the future site for WrestleMania 37 to mark the 10 year anniversary of WrestleMania 27 being held at The Georgia Dome.
Which fan needs a hypermodern stadium like this? They could have modernized their old stadium, that would have been better because a real supporter has a lot of memories concerning the historic stadium of his team.
You know I could rain on this parade (pun included) but I have seen first-hand things need to be adjusted to a new building. SKOL Vikings and congrats on your new home Falcon's
Another new fancy sports stadium increasingly being built around the world. Its main purpose is for the corporate types to entertain in the hospitality zones.
i like the unique modern look and the Mercedes logo.
Dean Bryant for some reason that cracked me up lol
Unique???? it's copy of Shanghai tennis arena
Paolo Markulin the only thing thats almost the same is the roof but look totally different you hater.
Oh Lord I want a Mercedes Benz.
@@frankdenardo8684 oh Lord i have one but not an amg
The most beautiful stadium I've ever seen in my life. I was lucky enough to be in Atlanta while it was under construction. Hopefully I can go back to Atlanta soon and visit it.
Faisal Alshomrani then you must have not seen a lot of stadiums if you think this piece of garbage is beautiful.
Dude I'm Architect and I know what I'm talking about. This is my opinion about this stadium among so many stadiums I've visitid and designed in my live. You don't have to agree with me though your opinion is appreciated.

WOW that's an ugly building!
@Mihai Lundell - Both are really beautiful, imvho.
That roof looks like it will be a maintenance nightmare.
You stupid
CooL G nice sentence!
Jefff It looks like a metallic prolapsed anus.
Hazard Heldk I concur with this statement
I don't think so. The petals just move in a straight line, which has much fewer moving parts to go wrong.
son interviewing his dad. nice
Anthony Marino lmaao nice
They almost same age
Nice
Absolutely beautiful! This may be the best stadium in all sports now!
deepen2011 Nah But one of the best.
The roof from the inside is retarded and the lighting is awful.
The Cowboy's Stadium in Arlington is much nicer than this. I have been to both and there is no comparison.
camp nou
deepen2011 UsBank stadium is way better, looks more beautiful from the inside
Some of the 2026 FIFA World Cup matches should be played here. What an amazing stadium :)
teammelli91 they are we just got a soccer team!
That's awesome!
CooL G - Well...
teammelli91 doubt it FIFA hate playing men’s World Cup games on artificial turf. They will if they have to but if there is a stadium around the same size with a grass pitch they will almost always choose that first.
Stadium is way to small for soccer matches
Hands down the most innovative and best stadium ever. The experience is unlike any other.
YRN GLo AT&T stadium
You must be forgetting the vikings stadium, much much better!!! Go look.
Aaron Holmes Not even close
Falcons new stadium looks small
Nothing can compare to Camp Nou of Barcelona.
WARNING: stadium contains choking hazards inside.
Manuel Diaz, Jr. how?
Lanise Howard falcons are chokers
I'm sorry but your bum ads team hasn't seen the SB in the last 5 years so you don't have grounds to talk shit
Bradley Uppercrust III ads? Also being from New England my team has been there 3 OF the last 4 years.
Comment of the Day!
Cant wait to go to a game in this stadium. I'm from Connecticut and have always loved atlanta

Butthole stadium boi

TheArnold46 shut yo broke ass up lmao
I was there last week on vacation it’s a beautiful place on its own
283 Patriot Way is their new address in case tourist wants to go and check it out
Its simply amazing what mankind is capable of building. Truly remarkable.
This is Minnesota's stadium on steroids
No not really, I have been in US Bank Stadium, its the best Stadium I have been to hands down
On steroids? More like on crack. It's retarded.
Doctor Satan agreed
both stadiums are liked by fake football fans. only bum asses play football inside.
@@seanp3302 ugh you’re one of those idiots 😂😂

Justin Liu thats cause those poor people are lazy. Americans don’t reward laziness.
This stadium looks amazing at night!!
Can’t wait for the one in L.A to open!!! Good job Atlanta!!!
He’s a down to Earth guy...Seen him many times just walking around the fan area before games. Most people didn’t seem recognize him.
Beautiful stadium, definitely one of the best in the NFL.
and MLS too

The Vikings US Bank Stadium is prolly the best staidium I've been to hands down!!!! This is a runner up second no doubt
Gazi the Vikings stadium is just straight legendary
both of these stadiums are pathetic. only fake football fans endorse playing football inside.
Sean P um where else should a nfl team play? At the nearest high school shut the fuck up you uneducated fool
I heard in another video during it's construction they were going to make concessions inside "reasonable"... $4 for hot dog, $5 for beer, etc.... Is that still true? If so, WHY can't other stadiums be like that???
That thing is awesome.. but the 1 in Minneapolis is balls to the wall crazy too
Whoa-ho! I'm diggin' the top of this new stadium; almost like a camera shutter.
It’s not even about the sport anymore, it’s about who can build the biggest stadium
I did a video about this stadium Tour and Game day: ua-cam.com/video/9dI8TNTu7N8/v-deo.html&t
That 360 meet up thing exists in the allianz arena as well
im a cowboy have to admit very nice stadium
Ikr almost as cool as AT&T stadium

That is the coolest, most futuristic stadium I have ever scene!
The ring video screen looks a little hard to see? Like if you're in the upper deck, doesn't the angle seem cut off for viewing?
Yup. It's too small and high.
Not a natural angle.
It would of been cool if it was movable
1.5 billion for a stadium! That's crazy!
Kickbacks
Well, you guys did an amazing job. I was there on Sunday when it opened with my son. The sun killed us temporarily because of where we were sitting, but it was fun to be part of it. Genius!
If Atlanta can do it, when there is new fields, it should be like this.
"the architects were nervous". The architects were nervous, what about the engineers. Good job thinking of a camera lense idea, now engineers gotta build the damn thing
In my eyes, it's at beautiful stadium, as a Steelers fan, if love to see a game there
SoFi stadium: Hold my beer
Not to mention you have the same company sponsor as your division rival 😂😂😂
And Lambeau Field is sill the best gameday experience

Interview the guy who designed it. The Architecture professor at KU
I wish I can see it in person.
I'm glad it got built!
Amazing architecture
Designer 1: "What should we make it look like?"Designer 2: "How about a giant prolapsed sphincter?"Designer 1: "...BRILLIANT!"
“We got tired of seeing all these signs in other stadiums - like “World Champions.” We cannot have that in a stadium for the Falcons.”
Stunning build. 📷

absolutely beautiful !
Wonder if they ever fixed the leaks in the roof 🤔
I'm not impressed very often but that really is very cool. I may have to stop by on vacation just to visit this stadium. Wtg Atlanta
Is it open now?
Kind of reminds me of Perth Arena in Australia.
Wow, that is so cool. I want to watch a game in there one day
Still not gonna erase that 28-3 lead they blew
I'm wondering how long it will be until the roof stops working? And in 20 years, the Falcons will demand a new stadium.
Its beyond precious
I still haven't had a chance to go yet
As a Panthers fan I will not miss playing in the Georgia Dome.

I'm not a Falcon fan but this stadium makes me want to buy tickets to their game.
Chris Tran The food prices make me want to buy tickets.

Yeah thats really cool but, 8 games a year. There might be other events but this was built to be played 8 times on in a year.

Which fan needs a hypermodern stadium like this? They could have modernized their old stadium, that would have been better because a real supporter has a lot of memories concerning the historic stadium of his team.

I heard they have a Chik-Fil-A inside there, but they are closed on Sundays.
vdogg43 next Monday for the championship they will be open for the first time lol
basically what I’d build in Cities Skylines
Roof logo should have been 28-3
That shit clean af
I like how nobody is talking about how those roof panels weigh a million pounds a piece.
Best Stadium in the South and all of the East Coast by far.
Atlanta United: +20 games, the real owner of stadium.
That looks dope af
Super Bowl 53 will be here. Beast!
The stadium is a giant eyesore, it’s innovative, but it looks like it was designed with a ruler and nothing else.
You know I could rain on this parade (pun included) but I have seen first-hand things need to be adjusted to a new building. SKOL Vikings and congrats on your new home Falcon's
Mr.black thanks for funding the stadium for the fans
seems to me this was designed for music events when there are no football games, which is pretty smart.
They added more speakers and better sound quality
Another new fancy sports stadium increasingly being built around the world. Its main purpose is for the corporate types to entertain in the hospitality zones.
I thought Benz field was in Nawlins
Just because they made a new stadium doesn't change the fact that they blew a 28-3 lead.
It’s very eye-appealing
So the Architect was nervous when it was all don't and was surprise that it opened and everything was fine?!? That don't sit well with me.
