    I was part of the Lucas Oil Stadium construction and I can relate to the sense of pride these people have. It's a monumental process

      S/o to you and the crew my boy great job! im born and raised in Indy my grandfather & I literally watched the thang being built we would go every day just to check out the progress workers were coo as hell they explained shit as we walked around the privacy gate

      No, but it did help Atlanta United win three Cups. To date the only championships won in the building by one of its residents.

    What an amazing structure!!! I've been inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium on numerous occasions doing stagehand work for concerts and events.

    These stadiums keep getting bigger and more expensive. Will they last longer then 20-30 years before a new facility is needed

    Very nice architecture. But why not using the roof with solar panels? I see solar panels next to it but not on the large areas of the roof.

      They actually make enough energy off those solar panels next to the stadium to power an entire soccer match.
      The building is LEED Platinum; the only stadium in the world to achieve so

      They've built it, the stadium is a few years old. The sofi stadium in LA and allegiant stadium in Vegas are the newest nfl stadium.

    They present this has if they are constantly taking chances that the design will work.
    I doubt the tech team is that incompetent. This has PE sign offs everywhere, the presentation is fake news!

      @@dirkdiggler2052 there certainly were parts that were touch and go.
      Fitting together in CAD and fitting together in real life are very different things.
      Several pieces had to be reworked due to quality issues, and final fitment, they discovered, was very temperature sensitive.
      In the end, it all worked out, with only a few months delay on opening.
      (that delay made for some very interesting summertime soccer games at GA Tech)
